Excellent explanation - in particular, with mentioning how Tether has not been fully transparent with how their funds are stored. That being said, Tether is the largest stablecoin by market capitalization

1) What software do you use to create these videos, and do you recommend it or another software?
2) approximately how much time does it take to script out, edit the video, create the audio, and end up with a publishable video?

I see many platforms allow you to lock your USDC with high APY such as 11%-12%, while USDT is around 6%. Could you explain how these platforms allow you to get more USDC passively just by locking it for a period of time? I cant see any platform that use fiat that would guarantee >10% passive income annualy. So this makes me kind of confused. I Have had the same question for a while, and the more i think about it the more it dosent make any sense at all. now i just want to change gears and just focus on tradding because i have been hearing some good news about it and i know someone who just bought a damn house with the returns but unfortunately i dont know anything about it and am definetly eager to venture into it

Why not to pull your money out and have it linger in the regular wallet before you buy the actual crypto on Robinhood? Why would you pull profit out to buy a stable when you just just pull it out and let it linger? Sorry for the repeat, I’m just confused

great video....one quick question when you mention fiat collateralization you say that coins are backed by fiat money like usd and euro, but then who backs the usd or the euro or any other fiat currency worldwide? i believe there is no fiat currency that is backed by gold or anything else besides faith that we put into hard and physical money or digital numbers stored in a regular bank.

The problem i have with stable coins, is that they are backed by FIAT .
FIAT is backed by nothing since the dollar went off the gold standard in 1971 and there for has no intrinsic value .
The Whole point of Bitcoin was to get a decentralized digital monetary system, that no few individuals have control over , or can print into existence on papers at will and give it a value they say soo.
Whats the point then of having crypto being backed by FIAT like stable coins ??

From what we have found, it is simply an Ethereum Token with Atari's branding - they have not developed any platform or given the token any purpose yet. Their website has a lot of promises, and while we also very much appreciate what Atari has done in the past - these promises are as true as any rug-pulled tokens promises. In the DeFi ecospace, we believe in products, not promises, and as we want to keep this channel's reputation in good standing, it's really difficult for us to provide insight into where the token and platform might go. Instead, we aim to keep you informed with the true information out there - and that is the Atari token has no use yet since their launch about a year ago. We've also noticed their atarichange.com domain is 404ing, which isn't a professional sign. We will keep a close eye on it though, hope this helps! :)

Can somebody please explain me how the concept of collateral money keeps it decentralised plus how the wallet algorithm keep managing the amount of coins by an algorithm which could be changed by the company and most importantly how is it different for wallets like binance etc
"Decentralized exchanges are run by code, and it can only change when the codes are changed". Question: who can change the code?
Depends on whether the contracts are immutable or not. If it’s not, like with Uniswap 2.0 then the code cannot be changed once it is deployed to the blockchain.
With Uniswap 3.0, I believe it is mutable and the team of coders behind Uniswap(most are anonymous) who have access to the multisig address that deployed the contracts code, can change that code. They usually put a time lock (about 6~12 hours) before any changes are made that affect the contract on the blockchain.

@@user-fq7oq5kb4z In the event the code needs to be changed the most moral way to do it is to ask consent and then proceed, but the true is that anyone with the keys which are bascialy the password to the code can change the code itself at any given point, that why most of the time people rather have a v2 which is a new LOCKED contract to be sure you are good with all that it contains and you just don't have to trust anyone to not change what you already agreed to.

question regarding stable coins: What stops the possibility of you investing tether into btc, and then the USD investment into tether also gets invested into btc causing 2 USD invested for every 1 USD. I know they like to claim that they hold USD in reserves, but like... yaknow
Not true that stable coins cannot be invested. They are invested in all kinds of dangerous things.
I am very glad that I can refuse banking services and be independent from corporations and the state. This freedom is given to me by the stablecoin USDT, it is also easier for me to buy BTC for stablecoins

I don't understand the part where they convert 50 bitcoins to 500k USD, convert the 500k USD to 500k dai (since 1 DAI = 1 USD) and then "hold it to buy back at a lower price". What does "hold it to buy back at a lower price" mean? Does it mean that I won't actually use my 500k DAI for anything and then when the price goes down again, I will buy more bitcoin for 500k DAI so essentially I will end up having more than 100 bitcoin? Why do I need to convert to DAI for that? Why can't I use conventional USD?

For me, a stable coin is a way to preserve my assets when the market is unstable. I choose Tether.

I'm curious why you say reserve funds can't be invested. Tether insvests them. I think that's also the case for most stablecoins. That's how they can pay for their expenses!
