The mountain bike community is truly amazing! My sister was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma two years ago and our local shredders stepped up to show loads of support for her as well. I can't say enough about how strong and inspirational these kids are! I wish the best to Sam's family and am extremely sorry for your loss. He seems like such an astonishing young man. Thank you Yeti for spreading awareness, it means tremendous amounts to these families.
This was tough to watch. It's so unfair that someone so young, so driven and so full of life could be the random target of this rare form of cancer. I feel for his entire family. Heartbreaking.
I wonder how much of the budget goes into treating cancers in adults caused by poor diet, smoking, alcoholism & drug addiction or any of the other diseases caused by the same self infliction. Much more than 4%.
