totally agree. their road salt stuff has a special place in my heart also, but IMO the perfect element is one of the most beautiful, amazing albums ever composed. it really is a thing of beauty.
Guitars are sounding but none are being played. All is good if I close my eyes though... This song (in fact the whole album) has a lot of meaning to me personally. Truly magnificent.

I agree xrawPower, Me also being a oldschool thrash fan enjoy some Pain of Salvation to uplift my spirits when I've been thrashed out, Cheers man you're not the only one...
finally the two lost videos appeared - first undertow and now ending themes!! nice, i never understood why they were hidden so many time! anyway, i definitly preffer the oldies - ! and pilgrim - they are amazing!
@psychoticwish chill out man im a thrasher at heart but i love to expand outwards, and recently ive been more into prog than any metal. theres no need to be hostile, i never thought i would be in a situation where a prog fan was aggressively attacking thrashers in general, kinda says something eh?...
@@ciroricciardi2078 Grazie Ciro si concordo la musica ci salva sempre, soprattutto quando quest'ultima è fatta per emozionare e non per vendere e basta.
@lumigecko might have been a last minute record company decision to make the video, and not take into account that little detail due to lack of time. I think if they had a substantial time-frame, the solo would've been there. Then again, it was also the camera man's decision to focus so much on Johan. By the time Daniel probably noticed this detail, it might have been too late to re-film.
@acrobaticaromatic Yeah, I love them but I agree. I think it's them not being out there enough and losing touch with the public. They've just had bad luck as well. I think once they do a proper US tour again, they'll get back on track. Also, early videos were so low budget and last minute (I bet, this video doesn't seem very produced, like it was just thrown together). Oh well, I think Daniel is at home either on stage or in the studio. Time will tell how they do with future promotion/videos.
@ryanyunck but again, linoelum is only better in a way of scenography and that sick camera, I was astonished due to the techical qualities of the Linoleum video, but then again.. I think they missed the point and repeated the same mistake as here..
I hope that the new fans gathered with the useless last albums arrive here sooner or later... So they will meet the real PoS music. Find the difference
Sadly this is pretty fucking hilarious, especially the ridiculous overacting in the monologue part. The whole thing has a really great way-over-the-top dramatic vibe to it. Very enjoyable if you don't take it seriously...thankfully the Linoleum video is a huge improvement!
I think some of the cheesiness is just part of Daniel's personality. I don't really notice it as much with the other band members. Even live, he seems a little awkward sometimes. In truth, lots of artists are like that. Some of it could even be on purpose... call it humor. As far as bad business decisions, that's just the point isn't it? They actually make decisions rather than catering to the label. They may not turn out as successful but that isn't what POS is about.
@SavaEQZY oh yeah, I mean, I have their entire discography, and daniel gildenlow is easily one of my favorite singers and composers. But...well, I guess you could say I'm not blinded by love and can appreciate how awful this video is.
@NeeIsKla i can talk about Thrash Metal cause i can play any Thrash Metal song on my guitar same for Progressive Metal wanna try me?i'd like to pose when people believe is special in this fucking world..do u wanna try to harsh me?well dude i can post more than 10underground thrash metal bands u didn't know it..i'm fucking bored to read poses and intelligent comments from people about music.u are pro?u are not the only one.I'm Judge only band i can understand and play nothing personal with u ; )
Wow, everytime I watch a metal video of a band I really like I always end up regretting it. They look like such dorks. Some bands should just avoid having an image. POS is a fine example.
I'm finding all these POS videos I didn't know existed.
guys you should reupload it in better quality
one of the my favorite songs, great band
@Насонов Всеволод
You cant improve the quality When the source material was filmed in 1999.

@bonedface
I've never heard another singer who sounds like Daniel, this is what he looked like for a lot of his career.

The solo is kinda... weird. They have no footage of the actual solo, but keep the camera steady on Johan riffing along.

the vid really is bad... love this song tho!
@psychoticwish It's called "Thrash" not "Trash". Calling something "Trash Metal" is an insult.
