Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro.
Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. Expect many deaths and much frustration as I try to get to grips with this game and hopefully come out of the other side agreeing with many that this is indeed one of the best games of its generation, and maybe even the entire FS catalogue.

with how the gameplay and mechanics works most players who have a vested intereste and are enjoying the game usually intuitively figure this out, Genichiro fight and the okami women teaches you how exciting and cool Lightning Reversal is and the fact is not clear to him, so far it more or less feels like he played the game just to complete it and is not truly enjoying it for himself, and that's ok not every game is for everyone but I definitely don't enjoy watching this just because I don't see the growth that comes from enjoying the thrill of combat.

It's meant to be a learning process. The satisfaction comes from the "ah-ha" moment. If it was meant to be simple then it would just have the textbox pop up saying "use the lightning" which is not as satisfying. Let the man enjoy the moment.
