Since Dale Earnhardt Sr is still racing full time in the Cup Series in this NR2003 career mode in the 2007 season, Dale Jr should stay with DEI and Hendrick keep the 25 for 2008.
You should stay in the 10 car for 2008 and then move to another team for 2009.

I will be staying in the 10 car at least for next year, I made a couple of different "career paths" I could choose as far as which seats to fill. Once they merge with RPM I'll have to decide where to go from there after next season.
Kinda threw Dale Sr. in as a part-time driver for DEI at least during the COT races this season and then theoretically retire, but not a bad idea. Would clear up any gaps I created in the story arch of DEI, one final run for an 8th championship before retirement. Dale Jr. goes to the 88 and Earnhardt merges with Ganassi in 2009 for this NR series?

After Dale Jr joined Hendrick Motorsports in real life, Budweiser also left the 8 and then U.S Army started sponsoring the 8 for it's part time starts with Mark Martin and Aric Almorila so what if Dale Jr stayed at DEI for one more year in the 8 with U.S Army sponsorship but hey, it's your NR2003 career mode, you do you.

For the 2009 season I was thinking about sticking with the RPM/Evernham merge and driving for RPM in the 43 or 44 car for a couple of seasons, or drive the 8 car in replacement of Almirola and Martin splitting it for the season.
I appreciate the feedback and idea!! I hadn't thought much about that storyline for next season, but having The Intimidator back full-time would be fun. Maybe make him more competitive because aside from this race he's been pretty silent this season lol.
