The rear moldings will probably break off perfectly the same on both sides. That happened on the 93T MR2 I have with 255/35/18's in the back. Best to remove those screws. Also you may run into issues with the metal edge of the rear bumper area inside the bumper cover. I had to do some cutting and sealing/painting in that area. The front was never a major issue but I only had 215/40/17 tires up front.

Hey buddy loving the MR2. I got a 91 and 93 as well. Question for you though, how do you like the scissor lift with it? any issues working on the engine or dropping it etc? I'm looking to get something similar to work on mine because it's a pain. Thanks !!!

Hey! Ya the lift is fantastic man, you'll live it for your MR2s and any car really. You'll orobably want a hydraulic lift table too like the one from harbor freight I have. Really handy if you do a fair bit of engine work and for loading/unloading from a truck

Good video! I'm curious - I have a '93 with stock 15" wheels and Eibach lowering springs, which are good for only about a one inch drop from stock. I have a much larger wheel gap front and back than you do now, BUT my measurements are pretty much the same as yours: 24" to the fender in the back, a shade under 25" up front. Is this because of the smaller wheels? I definitely want to close up that gap and drop it much lower if possible.

Yes wheel and also tire diameter reduces gap. My 17's will have approximately 1" less gap than a 15" wheel at all ride heights if ride heights are kept equal between us. But I probably have lower profile tires than you so that adds some gap back.
