There was a side of the street back when Tim Bradley said “when has Top Rank been doing business with Al Haymon?” When he retired instead of fighting Spence (who was his mandatory at the time) So, nah, sides of the street been a thing between PBC and Top Rank.
Why do people keep saying that Spence was his mandatory when he retired. Spence was not the mandatory for WBO, he wasn't even ranked in the top 10 before Bradley vacated to fight Pac instead of Sadam Ali. He then lost to Pac in a non championship fight, so he retired without a belt. Errol was going after the IBF at the time where he was top 2. Other than that I do agree he was one of the first guys to mention who is doing business.

If both fighters acknowledged it, then it has to be true.

Bradley lost the title to Pac in 2014 and then Mayweather took it from him. Mayweather was stripped and they elevated Bradley 2 fights before he retired. He fought Rios and then vacated to fight Pac. The mandatory was Sadam Ali.

I'm all for you Crawford! As an Omaha Nebraska fan of Bud's I want him to succeed over anyone more than anything even though I like Jermell too. Crawford became Undisputed after moving up from 135 so it was his 2nd division to get it at 147 and 154 would definitely put his name amongst the all time greats. Mel been at the same division his entire career

The problem w an international promotion like Floyd & Conor is that neither guy will verbally sell the fight like a Floyd & Conor (especially bud). I think the press conferences are going to be rather boring, but the fight is going to be 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The same was said about Hagler and Hearns before they began the Press Tour. They were guys who didn't talk a lot and just handled their business. Then the Press Tour started things heated up to a point they developed a strong dislike for each other and you could tell they wanted to fight right there.
And it's easy to get to that point. As soon as Spence or Crawford questions something about the other guy, it will hit a nerve and they'll start the back in forth to a point they get sick of each other's mouth.
Spence left him self open a lot vs Ugas and Ugas didn’t take advantage of it
in my opinion he can’t do that against Crawford, Crawford will make him pay at least WE THINK he will its always different when the fighter is in the ring with Errol
I can see Spence winning some rounds against Bud off his jab and body work rate though. Those two weapons make it super interesting when matching them up.

Good analysis. Also a factor of durability needs to be taken into account during the second half. Can bud handle the punishment and taxing rate Errol puts on you? Because yes bud get stronger during the second half but so does Spence. Great fight.
One of the biggest most important things everyone tends to not think about is that spence has NEVER fought a prime skilled southpaw and he's never faced a real puncher. And when he was just preparing for pacquiao he gets his retinal torn by a mystery sparring partner... with headgear and big gloves.
That being said I don't know if bud still has the legs to box and move for 12rds like he didn't against postol and standing and trading in the pocket is exactly what spence wants.

Undisputed is great but beating one guy who is has 3 belts isn’t more impressive than betting 4 champions like charlo did and what Errol is attempting to do. Bud is a helluva fighter could very well beat Errol but Terrance has fought Errol left overs years after Errol. He took title from Jeff horn c’mon. He beat kell brooks and eventually Shawn porter.
