I've always been a fan of both, followed both of their careers throughout their journey to becoming champions in the sport, I knew the fork in the road would lead them to clash and lock horns one day, as 2 kings can't exist in 1 kingdom, I always gave Crawford the "slight edge" due to the stylistic advantage he possessed, never imagined it would end up a slaughtering one-sided dominance. This fight was just simply settling the score on who was the better between the two, nooobody for one second should count Spence out as over and done, he'll still decimate anyone else in the 147 (well it's a maybe on Boots), or the 154 division, yes when he bounces back, he will come back with a vengeance and reign supreme again, but unfortunately not against Crawford, Spence is still a threatening terror

There is absolutely no reason for a rematch. Spence took an absolute shellacking, and though he is good at his style, he only has one style and is no where near adaptable enough to make this competitive against Crawford. It's not like this was a close fight where Errol can take something positive away. He was absolutely smashed to pieces when he believed in his heart he would dominate. That is a massively hard pill to swallow. If they rematch Errol gets stopped even earlier. I can't see any credible argument for it, other than it is already contracted.

If Spence was not partially impaired health-wise, then let him be the warrior that he is and come back and get his lick. You talk like a soldier-- reason why there are few warriors. As long as Spence is not seriously bodily hurt, let him be that athlete, most importantly, that man to grow and improve. Spence suffered a breakdown in confidence after the first knockdown. His wide feet stance while trying to throw punches to the body left him unbalanced as he reset his feet and likely to lose balance and fall if countered or pushed slightly. Crawford was focused on his defense, stayed big and close and punished every mistake with precision. It was a lesson on how the mind affects performance. When you panic during any task, you are likely to make more mistakes out of fear while forgetting your training.

With all due respect, the ONLY reason anyone would be wanting a rematch is because they solely believe last Saturday was just a "weight issue" which further signals that some can't accept (yet) that Crawford is the better fighter from top to bottom. This wasn't a close fight AT ALL. So the idea is that Spence (following the beating he took) is going to be the Spence of old moving up and that Crawford going to 154 isn't going to be 1/4 of what he was Saturday?
At some point there has to be.....ACCEPTANCE. Errol Spence was ALWAYS a good fighter. Crawford is and always was...BETTER, no matter the weight . - Rob M
