I tried spraying grocery store hydrogen peroxide in my hair and now my hair has a beautiful golden glow under lighting. I love it and already had someone ask me if I did something different with my hair.
Just letting u know I just read a article about peroxide 3% is like 10 volume developer 4 %+ is 20 developer 6% is like 30 developer If there's higher I think that's 40 developer. Said you can use bleach powder with the peroxide as it is like a developer. I wouldn't recommend 6% or 30 developer it's pretty strong can't leave it on your hair that long. I watch hair buddah and he said he is lyrie on 30 it is best to use 20 developer. But overall great video. 👍

I honestly just used a simple cream peroxide developer from amazon, nothing particular. I am so sorry for the extremely late reply, I rarely make youtube videos and had no idea people had commented. I plan to make some more in the future. x

I am so sorry I totally missed this comment, I havent done it for a while now, which is a huge regret because I started having bleach at the salon highlights and my hair is in rough condition sadly, I should have stuck to this it caused no damage at all but doesnt lighten light bleach. I dont think your hair will go as light as mine, the colour throughout my hair was a high lift tint, I use the peroxide to blend the roots during lockdowns, can you try a little bit underneath so you can be sure? x

hipretty hey lovely, when I first did this I left it on for 20 mins but if it didn’t work enough I repeated. It’s not perfect but it’s helped me out so much with no access to hairdressers. X

Sorry for the delay replying, I have been away..its a babyliss big hair rotating hot air drying brush, it took a few goes to get used to it but it is perfect if you have flat hair and want some body in it. I bought mine a few years ago, they probably have better models now. I did see a video of a girl who was using the liquid hydrogen peroxide and she sprayed it on, it seemed to work for her, I use Hydrogen Peroxide 3% food grade as a mouth wash also, keeps my teeth so white x
So I’m 16 and well I did this in the summer (rn) well my parents don’t really know that I do it they think it’s lemon juice anyway how many times should I do it? Have you done it before this video? And if I let it grow out in the winter will it be noticeable
Shealyn Finlay I’ve been doing this since lockdown, I got so desperate and didn’t want to risk Box dyes. I’ve done a few times now. I just used the hydrogen peroxide first 4.5% then 6% when I ran out of the first one. I used it on its own so the results won’t be as dramatic. I didn’t add any baking soda or anything like I’ve seen others do on videos. My hair does grow out so I do get roots but I just reapply and repeat. I just done it again today and my hair is super soft and shiny. Just if you do try it do a little test if you’re not sure as I’m not a professional and just shared how it works for me as I binge watched so many videos and couldn’t find anyone with my hair type. Oh also first time I did it I did it 3 times one day after the next just to be cautious. I left on for 15 mins then a bit longer the next time and so on. Now I can see the colour change so I just wash it off once I’m happy. I’m not sure if I will ever go back to any highlights or bleach again. My hair was so damaged before lockdown. Now it’s so much better 🤗

Hey lovely, my natural colour is like an ash dark blonde so it lifts my hair colour enough to get me through lockdown. To be honest since this video i have started using a dark ash blonde box dye 🙈 as I’m stuck in lockdown. However the whole time I was using this method it never washed out, I did get roots of my natural colour come through. Hope that helps. If you do got for a change share it with us ☺️
