Girl you look fantastic!!!!!! After lightening my hair with chamomile tea & lemon juice didn’t work for me, I’m interested to try hydrogen peroxide, so this was helpful to see. Pink does indeed look incredible on you! I quite like the root colour poking through too.
I have almost black hair, back in the day they had a really strong hydrogen peroxide over the counter. I guess they got rid of it but many hair stylists say it’s just as damaging as bleach. I disagree my hair felt pretty healthy.
My only concern is that it may be more damaging according to some hairstylist 😵💫. I'd be fine if it were as damaging as bleach, you can't lighten hair without damaging it after all.
Oh pro tip: mix equal part hydrogen peroxide and chamomile tea and put in a spray bottle for easy use 🙌🏼 spray wherever you want to lighten the hair and let dry for 30-60 min. Wash and repeat process in a few days until desired color ☺️ use aloe Vera gel, coconut oil or flax seed gel in between lightening treatment as hair mask for hydration and shiny hair.. or use a homemade rice keratin treatment
This is the most entertaining thing i've watched today. so funny and auper relatable. I'm always trying random shit with my hair and if i fuck it up, i'll try something else next week. Keep things interesting😂 so thank you for this😂👊🏾
Bleach is gonna eat thru anything. I dye my hair with product in it all the time and it dyes right thru. The oil is to keep moisture in so it doesn't dry your hair out as bad.
Yes. Basically, anything conditioning creates a layer around the hair that the peroxide/bleach/permanent dye needs to get through to work inside the hair strand.
Wow it seems like the coconut oil made a huge difference and they say the longest time should be an hour but anymore the hydrogen peroxide will destroy your hair I am very confused now🤔😂
I will say, running a hair straightener to get my hair less frizzy helped when doing any lightening or coloring to make sure I covered & saturated my hair as evenly as possible. P.S. Am I like, the only one whose mother didn't even do the hair coloring as a teen, and was left to my own demise in figuring out the world of hair color? Bcuulz having that help would have been so appreciated!! And having the company of someone to visit with. But still. Anyways....
Hydrogen peroxide is basically the active ingredient in a developer. This just seems kind of messy and less even, compared to just regular bleach. I dont really get the idea of this method
This is really useful! I want to be as cruelty free as I can and using this makeshift hair bleach also sounds like a lot of fun. Thank you for the detailed analysis!
Anybody that does hair professionally can tell you it’s the peroxide that lightens the hair to begin with so I’m not quite sure why people think that they figured out something new!? It’s kind of comical because all you’re doing with the bleach is replacing it with a more drying agent such as baking soda also something that made for the hair to do the same thing.Though, if they had gotten the proper materials hence it working 20 times better I feel like you guys just went back to the baby steps of back when they made bleach to begin with! Smh!!Lol
You must have a really good view living up there on your high horse huh? 🤣 One of those people who is arrogant but with a smile so you look "nice"! SMH! LOL
You know, it's entirely possible to let someone know about stuff they don't realize without ridiculing them. Spoiler alert: It doesn't build you up while you knock them down. It just reveals you as the class bully, and nobody likes the class bully.
I just did this to my health natural black hair n it works vry well Defo recommend the coconut oil. . If ur willing to try this keep in mind ur gonna have to do a good few trys to get it to blonde my 1st dye made my hair an orangey brassy brown tone
Sweet baby angel get some gloves. They are cheap and your bathroom isnt screaming I dont have a few buck. Especially as much baking soda and HP you went thru. Gloves

Same, my hair is too dark so I tried all the natural ways, and I’m next going to try hydrogen peroxide lol. I’m glad about the coconut oil tip 😁
Ok I’ll do it I’ll do it
This video didn’t get the exposure it should of. Very well made and very informative! Thank you!
Thank you! I'm going to try it out.
I LOVED WATCHING THE PROCESS OF YOU REACHING YOUR COLOR! YOU HAD ME CRACKING UP ALONG THE WAY AS WELL! I FELT LIKE I MET A NEW FRIEND 😄😄

Definitely going to try this to lighten my temporary hair color.
This is fantastic!
I'm not a professional but wouldnt the oil act as a barrier and make it harder to lighten??
No myth

Hello! Nice video, but if it gets on your scalp is it bad? Will it burn? Please respond!

It only dries your hair
so if we bleach our hair with hydrogen peroxide and dye our hair any color , the color wont be visible?
the lightening process only works as long as the hydrogen peroxide is wet... when it's all dry nothing happens anymore...
I just cut the bottle in half with scissors, and get every last drop. Just be a little careful, plastic cuts can be deep and painful.
This was one of the most educational videos I've seen
You should put the peroxide in a spray bottle, it would be a lot easier to apply
WOW, nice video you made.
What do you use for your hair to grow this long?
Mine never worked properly I forgot to use a dryer while wearing a shower cap after applying the mixture
This is pretty dang amazing honestly lol. It worked so so well for you it’s amazing!!! That would save major dollars too!!
Are you eating while doing your voice over??

Not the only one. I have naturally red hair & never even touched color until 30. Still just play with semi & demi. No permanent
Yours came out beautiful, mine came out orange 😢
It turned out great 👍

YESSSSSS

It's also pretty cost effective so that's just a bonus
You're better off using Manic Panic bleach kits than this. Manic Panic is cruelty free and vegan.
Awesome!
Soo Beautiful Pink Hair looking and you r soo beautiful😊😊👍👍👍👍☺☺👌👌👌👌👌
Quick Question, Does this work on previously dyed hair?

You can help people out without being rude to them and making yourself sound like a snob. Nobody likes it and it won’t make you feel any better.
Oof
Lmao, coconut oil actually acts as a BARRIER and slows the hair from lightening
I just did this to my health natural black hair n it works vry well Defo recommend the coconut oil.

Crunchy hair can always be saved!!!! 😆
Your voice sounds much older than you look.. LOl Good job!! Is peroxide easier on your hair than bleaching it?
16 hours
If you wanted to use fruits and vegetables to dye your hair pink, I would have gone with blackberries. That juice stains everything.
Don’t use metal guys...
Hocus Pocus...haha... you're funny!
Good job thank you
I feel sorry for your hair
