Hi friends! I'm Jennifer, a fifty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 10 - 26. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.
Here I'll share vlogs about all these things, what I'm doing that works and what I've tried but didn't work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

I cut my biscuits in half or thirds and fry up what we call donut holes they are so good our Chinese restaurant here in town makes them lol we just roll in plain sugar or cinnamon sugar . Beautiful table . Thank you !

My aunt made tube biscuit doughnuts, but used a thimble to make the holes. When the biscuits got bigger, she would use a cap from a lemon juice bottle or something that size. I always liked the holes the best!

On a Saturdays when they ask for certain food but I didn't have the money at that moment, they was able to look in the freezer and find that item and boy was they happy they then say to me "mom you're so smart" lol.💖💖💖💖keep doing what works for you and yours. Hi, Jennifer. I also “hid” food when my son was a teenager. I understand that statement. My son ate everything in sight. He would have a bowl of cereal in my mixing bowl with a half a box of cereal and a half a gallon of milk. I used to wonder where he put the food, he was 6’2 and skinny. I miss those days. Blessings to you all.

Most fruits and vegetables are dirty at the store regardless of what they are. Random people touch them to put then in different bags to get the amount they want at the store. Vinegar kills any germs, so it's not a bad idea.

Hi Jennifer! We make the donuts from biscuits too. I’d recommend cutting the biscuit in half - depth wise. Otherwise the biscuit is too thick and it will be doughy inside and crispy on the outside. Also, a bottle cap makes great hole maker then you can fry up the donut holes too.

Hello from Northern Minnesota. Do you guys have any snow? We just got about 1 1/2 inches yesterday. Today we got rain. What a strange winter it has been. 🥶 I really enjoy your videos and your grocery hauls. We love that 15 bean soup! 😋 I hope that you had an excellent New Year.
    ❤️🫶🏻😘🙏🏼🥶☀️

No snow right now. We had a little in early December, but it melted quickly.

Grown-up Methodist the guys would do a dinner and they do chili with those fried donuts and I love them with cinnamon sugar so you’ll have to try those too if you’d like some and sugar because they are so good. I look forward to that dinner every year.

We are empty nesters but I "save food back" for quick meals in an emergency! Frozen pizzas have saved the day many times!

Hi Jennifer, we just went to Aldis today. I was going to get the English muffins. I totally forgot them. I love to make a copy cat McDonald's breakfast egg McMuffin. I use 1 tablespoon of bacon bits, Heat that up and the spray pan because eggs will stick to the pan, add 2 scrambled eggs cook both sides, put a piece of American cheese on half, and fold over twice and butter warm muffin and put egg on it, it's really super yummy. Great hauls. I went to both stores today too. ❤

We enjoy at home egg McMuffins too. I like your idea of using the bacon crumbles.

Geez, people, I also hide things from my family otherwise it’s gone when I need it for something I have planned. Snacks or quick food tend to get eaten first and the more healthy food gets left. We do meatless Fridays, also, 99% of the time.

Just because the chicken wings had a date of January 2nd doesn't mean you have to eat them before that date. As long as they are put in the freezer they can be made at a later date.

Correct ✅ I didn’t want to freeze them though.
