    Thank you so much for joining us in Ketchikan, and if you’ve been watching our Alaska series since the very beginning, we hope you enjoyed it! Being able to experience the Alaska cruise with family was such a treat, and we hope to explore more of the state whenever we get the chance to return in the future. 🥰 Our time in Alaska transitioned us seamlessly into the autumn season, and in the next few videos, get ready for vibrant autumn foliage as we explore the Appalachian Mountains, North Georgia, and Chattanooga for the height of the fall season! 🍁 See you back here next Saturday! 🤗

    Great video of your visit to Ketchikan and the Alaskan cruise. Enjoyed the lumberjack contests and seeing the tour of the early settlement of Ketchikan. Thanks for giving us a grand tour of the Alaskan Cruise Liner. It was definitely worth it!

    I watch UA-camrs who were just there; so the season is over and the crowds are gone. It’s so cool to see to version of the same colorful town. No lumber jack shows. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us on your ship.

      No way! We were lucky to catch the tail end of the tourist season, when shops and experiences were still open and running. 🤗 But, even without the entertainment, I'm sure Ketchikan would still be a sight to see! Might even feel more like a ghost town!!! 👻 Thank you so much for watching- it's been our pleasure! 💗

    We went from Vancouver to the north on our cruise, then went by train and bus for 6 days and stayed at wilderness lodges and flew out of Fairbanks Alaska. Beautiful holiday!

      @ChadandClaire  7 місяців тому

      Oh, wow! 😍 That's almost like the reverse of the route we took, although we didn't get the chance to visit Fairbanks this time around! I bet going north from Vancouver was exciting, because it's like a slow build up to the best of Alaska!!! 💙

    Oow..love that Alaskan Lumber Show! That young guy running up the pole with a chainsaw better be careful..I'm pretty sure his parents wanted a son this time. 😁 Looked it up: Ketchikan is native Tlingit Indian for 'Thundering Wings of an Eagle'...makes sense given the abundance of salmon. Oh that food looks sooo delicious! That ship and tour keeps getting better and better....kind of not looking forward to the wind down...this has been so enjoyable! Wisconsin 🖐

      @ChadandClaire  7 місяців тому +1

      Hahaha I'm sure all the lumberjacks' mamas are on the edge of their seats when watching their sons at these shows! 🤣 I do recall reading about the name "Ketchikan" somewhere while we were exploring the town, so thanks for the reminder of where it derived from! I couldn't get over how much salmon filled that small creek! 🤯 Glad you enjoyed the cruise ship tour and our Alaska series altogether! 🥰Stay warm up there in Wisconsin, and we'll see you in the next one! 💗

      Hahaha I totally get that! 🤣 Cruises definitely aren't for everyone, and we hadn't really even considered trying one until this family trip! But, I agree- any kind of experience in Alaska is worth it, because the state is just too astounding! Haha 😍

    Went to other video to see name of ship. Have been on Royal Caribbean for a week. Better half earned free trip from work. Only bad thing was no bathtub. Just don't like 🚿. Thanks for another lovely videos. You both looked cute dressed up for dinner.

      How wonderful! 🥰 I hope you're enjoying your time on board with Royal Caribbean. I'm pretty sure Celebrity is also a part of the Royal Caribbean Group! 😁A free trip from work sounds absolutely incredible, but yeah, I totally get how the lack of a bathtub can be something to adjust to. My parents-in-law are the exact same way! Thank you so much for watching, and happy sailing!!! 💓

    Have so loved your adventures but was sad to see a couple whom I thought was environmentally conscious fall prey to obviously a corporate sponsorship by a polluting cruise ship company....polluting and ruining pristine Alaska. Plus, cruise ships are giant covid incubators - the pandemic is not over and I was very disappointed to see this trip.
