    I’ve just finished my first run and I actually really like the ending I got:
    The Inquisition stayed as a peace keeping force under Divine Leliana, who reformed the chantry to accept all races as equal and shut down rebellion against her.
    Cassandra served on the Exalted council and reformed the Seekers of Truth
    Varric is viscount of Kirkwall
    Dorian used his position as Magister to fight against corruption
    Iron Bull traveled with the chargers taking jobs and wiping out demons and Venatori
    Cullen remained as commander of the Inquisition, he was no longer addicted to red Lyrium and helped other Templars who were
    Sera became a full time red Jenny and became more effective having seen the inquisitor help everyone, she and Dagna are together. She and the red Jenny’s are friends to the inquisition.
    Blackwall travelled Thedas searching for redemption by helping the forgotten and condemned
    Cole returned to the fade and will return when people need help
    Vivienne is grand enchanter of the circle and vies with the College of enchanters for power in the south
    Josephine returned to Antiva and oversaw her family’s trading. She and the inquisitior live there happily and in peace.
    The Inquisition heads to Tevinter on a mission to save Solas from himself.
    I’m actually really pleased considering I went in blind, the only thing I’d change is Id have Dorian and Iron Bull together and maybe change Cole to being human.

      Cassandra was my divine, even though i liked soft Leliana more, by going blind i didn't know how to accomplish this at the time
      Cole got laid and went to do tourism who knows where.

Like if you disband it your efforts dealing with solas will be weaker but if you keep it as a peace keeping for your efforts will be more effective with the possibility of corruption keyword possibility so there's a chance it might not become corrupt so that's why I chose to keep it as a peacekeeping organization to have a better effort against solace.

    Dragon age in generel has so much potential. You could go on & on with just the world. So much even before Dragon age origins had occured with Andraste, the first inquisition, The elves etc etc. This world is incredible. Its right up there with Game of Thrones when it comes to potential, maybe even more, because it focuses ALOT more on the mysteries of magic & demons etc.
    Don't let the franchise die, please let it go on FOREVER:)
    Man. Imagine if in some future dragon age game, you got to play as Andraste HERSELF. There could be done alot of stuff with that, twists & turns. Betrayel offcouse & war & rise & falls etc.

      And participating and seeing the great Titan war with the Evanuris
      I can only imagine how the world looked then. In the lore elven cities were masssive gleaming structures and they basicaly had universal magic use and could teleport anywhere they wanted. Had countless marvels that exceed anything in the modern world by worlds.
      If the Elves didnt have their internal
      war with Fenharl, its possible they could have colonized planets with their eluvians and magic to shape any world they wanted to their needs.
      Maybe that will be how the elves are saved. By leaving Thedas altogether and entering a new world where the Veil isnt. Its a probable solution as thedas is the only known area where the veil exists. Whereas the fade is just an infinite univeral area that exists like space
      The elves are the only ones who have the magical ability to leave and create their own world to rebuild if they wanted to. Thedas is just a shadow of what it used to be thanks to humans and the veil.

    I'm curious, but why do you think this ending is the best ending? I really do want to discuss this with someone and I thought that perhaps I should ask. For me I'm thinking on disbanding the Inquisition with my elven inquisitor not because of the spies and all that, but what potentially could happen in the future after they defeat Solas, them believing that Solas WILL be taken down and it all comes down to when. The justification I had for them was that they just feel uneasy about lending the Chantry the power of the Inquisition, even if it is reduced and Cassandra of Leliana are the divine, those two aren't going to be the divine forever and who's to say what the new divine will do with the Honor Guard?
    Not to mention there are the points that people make about the forces of the Inquisition not being able to come to foriegn lands unless they want to provoke a war with a nation, or that it's not spies that the Inquisition has concerns about but where it's going in terms of purpose and how pride is starting to get to them, and so on and so forth.

    • @Dylan_M753
      @Dylan_M753  6 років тому +4

      I recently replayed Inquisition and disbanded it for the fist time. Honestly, it's a 50/50 chance of success either way; each choice has pretty balanced pros and cons (more power + high chance of corruption or less power + slim to no corruption possible.) I always thought keeping the Inquisition going was because I was a bit intimidated choosing to do the complete opposite for the first time. About the Honor Guard stuff...if it only a verbal agreement, yes the new Divine would have absolute authority to keep them or not. But if there is a signed agreement, the Divine would find it much more difficult to disband. It would almost be like delegitimizing the Nevarran Accord, by which a military group shrinks in size and serves the Chantry. It would seem outrageous to do so. I believe that's why the Accord lasted for over 900 years. If you want to disband, go for it. As for why I thing it is perfect (or , rather, near perfect)...
      Cassandra was a mix between tradition and reform, unlike Vivienne and Leliana who would greatly change the Chantry, and having the rebuilder of the Seekers be the divine would probable allow the order to have better allocating and accruing resources. But I will admit Leliana's excuse for allowing Mothers to marry is very good and symbolic
      Vivienne, well, I'm not sure. I don't know if there is an option to influence how severe of a ruler she is to the mages, because as we all know through history, treating an defeated enemy with scorn will only come back to bite you in the end, i.e. Germany post WW1
      Sera? Not that big of a deal. Join or not, not that much of an influence
      For Varric, I let Hawke live over Straud. I couldn't let him die. Just couldn't
      I let Bull and Dorian become a thing because they mix as well as Tostitos and salsa
      I romanced Cully Wully because that man deserved some love in his life, as well as have a bunch of mini Cullen's running around the house, maybe a redhead or two. I liked the Inquisition disbanded romance version better though, more settled down
      I made Thom a Grey Warden because it seemed best to honor the real Blackwall. With some speculation in the fanbase going on how the Hero of Ferelden found a cure, hopefully Blackwall will get a cure before his Calling comes
      I felt Josephine having guards for her fleet was better than none
      Cole and Maryden seemed to be better since it said they helped others
      Hopefully this answered some of your questions, or at least was legible

    • @theabautista2277
      @theabautista2277 6 років тому +1

      Yeah, it certainly did :) for me I've played through Inquisition before, though back then I wasn't as invested in the world and story as I am now. Now I've created an elven Inquisitor and I planned to play them as closely to their character as possible, and certain decisions always had me pause to think about my character.
      I love how the choice is a 50/50 chance since it takes into consideration what you could potentially lose/cause, it really gets you thinking about what the consequences would be. There are also people pointing out that Solas is probably trying to get you to disband by mentioning his spies in the Inquisition which is a valid suspicion, not sure what the heck he will say or do to get to his end goal. Speaking of the egghead, did you choose to try and redeem him or put him down once and for all?
      Also what was your Inquisitor like? What was their backstory and their take during the journey of the Inquisition? Sorry if I'm asking a bunch of questions, I just get so passionate about Dragon Age and the beautifully well crafted world it has, I may not have played the other two games but I have done a whole lot of research on them in regards to history and all that.

    • @Dylan_M753
      @Dylan_M753  6 років тому +5

      NP. I'm vehemently passionate about the DA universe as well.
      I chose to redeem him. It's another decision that is very divisive. Me and my cousin always get fired up whenever the egghead is brought up. Perhaps in DA4 and the player was an elf, he'd see reason? I don't think him a completely irrational or if-i'm-going-down-i'm-taking-you-with-me kind of guy like Corypheus.
      My Inquisitor, Evelyn, was taken into the Circle at age eight after, what it seems to be, she burned her bed to the ground. When she's fifteen, the Mage Rebellion begins, and shorty after the Ostwick Circle does as well. Although initially part of the rebellion, she starts having doubts on whether it is right on what path shes chosen when she can't bring herself to destroy her own phylactery. Some mages resort to blood magic, the Rite of Annulment is activated, and soon Evelyn finds her mentor Lydia dying as a result of another apprentice, Linnea. Lydia urges her to run and after wandering weeks with little food, she makes it to Kirkwall and grudgingly coexists with the mages residing in the underground for four years. Throughout the story she has a distaste for the rebel mages, even murdering Linnea when the opportunity presented itself. Near the end of the War against the Elder One, Evelyn does eventually become more sympathetic toward them. After the Exalted Council it's mostly fluff, but there is a toughing moment when she and Cullen endearingly bicker on what to name their first-born daughter, and agree to name her Lydia. And neither have any fear of the fact that many of their children could be mages.
      It's a non-canonic, fanfictiony, novel that I've been working on for a few months, and even though it's already 53,626 words strong, I feel I'm only half way done.

    • @theabautista2277
      @theabautista2277 6 років тому +1

      I absolutely love this story you have going with your Inquisitor right now! If you've published it somewhere, mind sending me the link? I would love to read it!
      I also don't think he's completely irrational or that kind of guy either, of course I obviously don't agree with with his reasonings and I feel he gave up too easily on the elves existing now in Thedas, but I can see where he's coming from on a bit of a personal level. When you see the world as stale and grey and you wish to change it or escape from it, when the people only appear as blank faces that blends in with the rest of the static noise that is the crowd, I honestly know what that was like for a while until I met a dear friend. He just needs someone to show him otherwise, someone who's become close to him whether it be on a platonic or a romantic level to tell him hey, the world's not as dark and bleak as you think it is.
      For me I normally like to add my own flare to any fanfiction I have stirring in my mind, I'm mostly fascinated with the crash collision course between two worlds and that sparked the idea of what would happen if the magical energy pouring out of the hole in the Fade began to interact with another world? What if this reaction started to pull the two worlds together as well as making these unstable gateways that appear at random like rifts? It would certainly add to the craziness of the Breach and Corypheus and make it one more problem the Inquisition would have to fix, but I always get so fascinated with how people from these two different worlds would interact with each other. Especially if two of these people from these different worlds fell in love with each other, what would they do when the Breach is sealed and the worlds are stabilized? What then? Would one stay with the other, or would they choose to part ways for good?
      I will even admit to having this idea of a "modern person" showing up in Thedas through reincarnation after they die, but again with my own spin on it and with ideas that I admittedly am nervous when sharing on the Internet because of idea theft and all that, these very same ideas actually tie in with my elven Inquisitor Marel and their human mage friend Aaron. I put a lot of detail into these ideas and I just can't help but get paranoid of it being copied. Ah, I just get so excited when sharing ideas, I rarely have anyone to discuss them with so you can imagine how gung-ho I get when I am able to share them with someone.

      You need to be on good standing with one or both, and (in the most effective way) bring only Bull and Dorian out to any major areas, and simply wait through all the dialogue. It will take a couple hours, but eventually Bull will bring up in front of anyone present that they did the do. If you're not sure if they're in a relationship or not, go back to Skyhold and talk to either of them. If there is a special dialogue option to ask them about their relationship, your patience has paid off.

    My question still goes unanswered. These epilogue cards are all well and good but what if Dorian had not been in a romance with Iron Bull but had been with the Inquisitor instead (male, of course). Would that ambush by the Venatori still have happened and would he have survived if Iron Bull had not saved him? What if the Iron Bull had never been recruited and Dorian had only been friends with a female Inquisitor? The ambush is a question, isn't it? The Venatori would surely want to eliminate Dorian for joining the Inquisition and being so steadfast in his opposition to the cult. That ambush would have been almost obligatory, right? So would he have survived or been killed?
    The cards just make assumptions that certain things would only happen under specific circumstances but there's no reason to assume that the ambush would not occur regardless of his romance choice. Yet there is no mention whatsoever of an ambush if Dorian was not romanced or if he was with the Inquisitor, only if he was with Bull just so they could add that card, making it all lovey-dovey and silly because that has to be the case for a gay romance these days.

      Why not go to tevinter then, the place that is filled with suffering, ps he forgets everything about Solas if he becomes a spirit, as he finds Solas almost immediately so to hide his tracks, Solas did the forgetting thing.

      Human. If you chose to make him more spirit, Cole returns to the Fade indefinitely

    Cassandra as the divine??? Then this is not the perfect ending.

  • @aclaymushroomwithaberet7084

    Tbh I hate perfect endings, the game isn't meant for that, like in DAO I side with the werewolves because it's kind of an outlaw justice, or I support Bhelen because even if he's an arse he makes the living conditions for dwarfs better even if he's pragmatic. I don't get a perfect ending, because nobody's perfect, so for DAO I get Cullen addicted to lyrium and recruit Samson, you know, LIKE A SANE PERSON. And in DAO I kill Leliana then steel her and make her divine, so she can deal with Vivienne, you know, LIKE A SANE PERSON, then make my diplomat do the sponsor thing, so she can have action In her later days, DON'T JUDGE ME I'M SANE.
    PS Have a good day!!

    Best Ending? Dorian Die?!!

  • @Pumpernickel420

    I got pretty much the same except I disbanded the inquistion officially but carried it on, I romanced Dorian and Jospehine didn't get a house of repose guard cus I reinstated the Montilyets trade to Orlais.
    Oh and I already had the college of enchanters of whatever its called established so, Vivienne left the college and made the circle again herself

  • @ReveredDead

    Cassandra is best divine. She is a mix between Justinia and Leliana. She brings change but doesn’t disrupt the balance. The Mages are independent, the templars are peace keepers and seekers are her secret police. The seekers can be used to keep the mages and templars in check. It’s the best of both worlds.

    Wait...does this mean this is the next dragon age? Or the one that we are still playing? Why does inquisitor loses his or her hand? Is solas the next enemy?

    • @MorgaAlba
      @MorgaAlba 5 років тому +1

      For what I get as well reddit your arm was disolved into the fade, you still have it and at the same time no. It das done to help the Inquisitor to survive. And yes hes the next enemy. Theres A new dragon age tráiler.

      These are the epilogue slides for Trespasser, the final DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. The Inquisitor loses their arm at the end of it. Solas is probably going to be the next game's antagonist.

    Define perfect. I generally place Vivienne on the throne and it works out well enough for me.

    • @Dylan_M753
      @Dylan_M753  3 роки тому +2

      I chose Cassandra because she knows how to maintain authority given her time as a Seeker, while also not being radical reformists like Leliana or Vivienne. Leliana wants "humane" reform without care for consequence, while Vivienne is driven almost exclusively by the political power the title holds, and seems to enjoy dictating over other mages. The Chantry could use some measure of reform, but what those two seek could destroy the unity of the Chantry before it has had time to fully recover.
      Leliana tries to convince you that she is a good pick. Cassandra only accepts her role of potentially being the Divine if you suggest it. Reluctance of accepting power is highly virtuous, and even Vivienne acknowledges Cassandra is a good choice for Divine

    Disband Inqusition, Let Loghain live and Leliana as Divine, inquisitor romancing Solas. Without those this cant be "perfect"

      @@veyseltarhan8235 why, leliana at the throne and romance with solas seem like a perfect fit. No loghain tho, fuck that dude lololol. Although, maybe cassandra is a better pick as a divine, her approach is less damaging.

    The game was a broken, buggy, glitchy mess. Boring too. Too many puzzles. And the three wheel one at the end literally breaks in the PC game, leaving you stuck there. A waste of time and money.
