What I appreciate more than this project is the way you deliver it. Concise, practical, informative and honest. Thanks for the entertainment and knowledge.
Well done again Sir!! Seeing these results every time is one of the reasons I am addicted to your channel. The knowledge passed on from you is like an encyclopedia. Stay safe and healthy and just keep them coming.
Thank you Brian for all you do to show us how to do this. LIke I said before you are an Artist and each car is your canvas. With each canvas you turn out a masterpiece. I have learned so much from watching you and I am so much better at detailing my cars. Be safe out there
Amazing work Brian! You have inspired me to work on restoring the single-stage paint on my 1970 Corvette. I did a small test section last night starting with 3000 grit and finishing with Meguiars Correcting Compound. I was amazed at how much oxidation was on the paint and the mirror-like finish I ended up with.
Absolutely superb series, i’ve just got caught up with it all. Brian you inspired me to try wet sanding on my own vehicle a few months back and I started very fine and worked up and it came out absolutely superb, thanks again.
I am glad that original and unrestored is gaining acceptance. These things should be on the road, not museums or private collections never to be used again.
Brian I think your comments and final last thoughts are absolutely spot on. When I first started paint correction I experienced a lot of trial and errors, but with time and the more you apply yourself to the different challenges you do get better.
You have a wide variety of knowledge. I have been learning more from watching your channel. The process is a long one but the outcome is really nice.looks a world of difference and the shine is on point 💎✊
A good paint shop can get your hood to match. Since you polished out the paint, it will be a lot easier to get a paint match to the fender. Awesome work sir !!
I almost bought the Magnum Wax when I purchased the LVR 404 and I must say the 404 is some amazing amazing stuff. I’ve been blown away by the 404. Anyways, I was thinking you might finish with the Poly Seal but glad you chose Magnum 357 as I wanted to see how that finished.
L J I love magnum wax. And 403. 403 and 404 are pretty much the same. Both can be used on any color car. I bought the 357 and it honestly has amazing shine and depth in the paint. I made a “first impressions” video on my channel if you are interested to see more on the wax
Amazing work on the vette! Turned out great 👍. My son and I make memories with my car. I always tell him if the bell housing falls off it’s his fault because he put it on and torqued it down. Lol 😂
I saw it first finished on FB this am. I’m really liking that acrylic polish over all. I had wonderful results on a SL MBZ I did an enhancement with where I wasn’t going to coat it. Just a magnificent turnaround 🙌
I adore c3 corvettes,I have a torch red 1977 corvette,I put hooker headers,high performance exhaust manifold,Racing exhaust,tuneup,new timing chain,harmonicbalancer,New valve covers...I have over 12000.00 dollars in upgrades,Its a head turner,you do not go unnoticed in this car.Not great on gas,but i did not buy an economy car,but an american muscle,for sure.Keep those c3 videos coming PLEASE.THANKYOU>
Of all the vehicles I've watched you work on this is the one where you can literally witness the instant change each step produced. I'm thinking because of the color and the fact it was not a clear coat, coupled with the substantial damage that it had suffered. Great looking vette, I have a black 08 and its pretty clean but if you were in my neighborhood I would bet you could improve it. I don't trust anyone near me to touch it with a machine...
This has been absolutely amazing, so very helpful thank you!!! I bought a 1973 corvette to learn how to work on vehicles and over the last year I have learned a lot and made some big mistakes as well. They can be fixed I am sure after watching this! I am going to get my giant swirls out of the poor thing. I do have a question, the original bumper disintegrated as I was washing it... so i put a fiberglass one on it and it came straight black, is there a way to gloss fiberglass directly? Again thanks for this video I am super stoked to restore it! I am waiting for the rest of the videos with excitement!
I have truly enjoyed this series on the C3. I, like you, love Corvettes and have my 5th on order, which hopefully I will get. But I have a question that I hope you can answer. You stated in an earlier show that you preferred coatings to PPF. How do you deal with the inevitable chips you will get while enjoying you rides? Thanks Brian, I truly enjoy your channel.
Didn't it start somewhere in the 65-68 gloss unit range? Great turn around, and the hood blends in much better, even though it's not the same color as the rest of the car.
Would love to see her outside under your worst critic ;) . The LVR 404 really pops. Being an acrylic product, can you layer it or top it with Klasse? Would it be worth it?
Rick in this case no. He topped it with magnum wax 357. That is an acrylic wax. And I think klasse has some polishing ability if I am not wrong. But if you just did 404 then you could use klasse but if it does contain polishing agents I wouldn’t because you want that layer of acrylic from the 404 still there
Another great video from the Master. If the vents were still usable, how would you detail them? For he round recesses of the tail lights, how was this done?
Brian, love the channel. I notice when you are applying the polish/compounds you never butter the pads. Do you already have them pre buttered or do you work on the paint with it dry like that. I’ve always been taught that you butter to pad so there are no dry cells or fibers that could create pigtails. Am I being told a lie so use additional compounds?
What I appreciate more than this project is the way you deliver it. Concise, practical, informative and honest. Thanks for the entertainment and knowledge.
It took forever until it dawned on me the 357 and Magnum Wax connection.. haha that's cool..
Looks great, thanks Brian! 👍👌✌
Fabulous work and great instructions as usual!
Great job , thanks for the videos. Now it's my turn to get started on my project,
Fantastic work! I really enjoyed watching the process from start to finish.
That is truly amazing how it doesn’t even look like the same car
This puppy came a long away. Thanks for sharing this with us.Happy Easter
Amazing motor you have there and I always have a soft spot for C3 Corvette
Great finish Brian! Well done!
Another great video Brian. Keep them coming.
Well done again Sir!! Seeing these results every time is one of the reasons I am addicted to your channel. The knowledge passed on from you is like an encyclopedia. Stay safe and healthy and just keep them coming.
Wow! 😱 ❤️❤️❤️ amazing, love it. You’ve done an absolutely awesome job. Well done 👍
Appreciate that you encourage us to try it out. Not a lot of professionals do that this day in age. We appreciate you!
Thank you Brian for all you do to show us how to do this. LIke I said before you are an Artist and each car is your canvas. With each canvas you turn out a masterpiece. I have learned so much from watching you and I am so much better at detailing my cars. Be safe out there
Brian! Looks great! Can't wait to see the Full Le Man's look! It is mostly the journey that makes it so enjoyable! 👍👍👍👍👍
Great work looks amazing... please keep the pop up lights 👍

Fantastic job! Looks like a totally different car. Absolutely amazing!
I completely agree.
First, this is an amazing looking car !! One of the best beautifull Corvette made and you did like always a huge job on this one. Congrats Brian.
Wow, that C3 came out amazing.
I'm really happy that you kept those original rims, really pops with that red paint.
Wow , truly awesome job!
Well Brian, I am surprised. I would have never guessed it was possible. Beast - to - Beauty!!
Thanks for the ending thoughts. Words to live by.
Thanks Brian Great videos i have a 75 C-3 red i learned a lot from your videos at 80 years old i will give it a try Thanks...
Brian I think your comments and final last thoughts are absolutely spot on. When I first started paint correction I experienced a lot of trial and errors, but with time and the more you apply yourself to the different challenges you do get better.
Wow! Showroom ready
Nice work! Looks great.
Looks amazing sir!!
Phenomenal Brian! You really turned it around and worked magic on this C3, beautifully done.
The car is absolutely gorgeous! Just goes to show that you do not need a paintbrush to be an artist. Fantastic job!
All I can say is the change is unbelievable
You have a wide variety of knowledge. I have been learning more from watching your channel. The process is a long one but the outcome is really nice.looks a world of difference and the shine is on point 💎✊
I knew you could make that car look amazing but WOW!!!!!! Maybe it's not perfect but it still looks amazing.
Brian, great job. Always looking forward to the next video/series 🇬🇧
It looks great!!! Thanks as always for all the work you put in and the product recommendations have been truly helpful.
Awesome job!!!
Outstanding!
Fantastic!! You are so right dont be scared.
Great job buddy.
Brian, the barn find looks fantastic. As you said it’s not perfect, but to me, outstanding.
oh man i am loving that car
Great video series Brian the car came out looking amazing.
Good work!!!
Excellent job! Beautiful!
This Corvette looks great!
Awesome I watch all the videos that car come out like from the dealership
A good paint shop can get your hood to match. Since you polished out the paint, it will be a lot easier to get a paint match to the fender. Awesome work sir !!
I would have loved to see the car outside in the sun. Awesome job.
You will.
I wonder if this is as therapeutic for you doing this work as much as it is for me watching it! Impressive and motivating, thank you sir.

Amazing work on the vette! Turned out great 👍. My son and I make memories with my car. I always tell him if the bell housing falls off it’s his fault because he put it on and torqued it down. Lol 😂
Great result that Brian. You'll enjoy rolling about in that.
Nice car Brian looks good with the general lee wheels on it
I had a feeling it was gonna be a wax. Great job!
I totally love the way this is coming out. I am going to get a depth Gauge and do this to my 87 Porsche 944S in White with this combo and procedure!!
I saw it first finished on FB this am. I’m really liking that acrylic polish over all. I had wonderful results on a SL MBZ I did an enhancement with where I wasn’t going to coat it. Just a magnificent turnaround 🙌
Great job brian
Always love your videos. If it's not too much, would love to see before and after shot, the result is like day and night.

You could rename your shop "Gloss R- US " ;-)- loll! You never cease to amaze me!! By far my Preferred UA-cam Channel !! ThankYou Brian!
Amazing job Brian! Thank you for encouraging us to try and do it!
P.S. the hood is not matching the rest, maybe you should respray it ?
There are 3 panels I will be respraying. The hood, front, rear bumpers. The rest ...saved.
it looks like new :)
YAY 33! 😉 I'M a Ford guy but that car looks good!
You didn't let us see what your harshest critic thinks of the results.👍👍👍👍

One at a time good sir....one at a time.
Didn't it start somewhere in the 65-68 gloss unit range? Great turn around, and the hood blends in much better, even though it's not the same color as the rest of the car.
Great job, I can't wait to see more of this project but I do have a question... Why the Jaguar flag mounted on the wall backwards?
Because Brian's son put it that way to challenge Brian's OCD. It has been like that for over a year.
@@sandro2304 LOL, nice! Thx for replying so quickly.
To challenge Brian’s ocd. I give him credit because I would have to have it the right way. I bet he doesn’t look at it.
@@bigd9848 I have asked Brian in multiple videos if he was going to flip it, but he said he was not going to cave.
Question: What’s you and your son’s favorite project you did together?
Would love to see her outside under your worst critic ;) . The LVR 404 really pops. Being an acrylic product, can you layer it or top it with Klasse? Would it be worth it?

My mini polishers including the rotary extension polisher.

That is only a factor on soft clear coat.
vette looks bad ass good friend. using 3k sandpaper on da less stress on clear coat?hope all is well
Absolutely!
Gloss at begining was 69.3
That is one wet Vette 😍
