      I don't like Neural DSP -- they charge _way_ too much IMHO. Although I didn't try the Plini one yet, I tried the previous two, the Fortin and the red one, those were...ehh...idk, not really my style. The Fortin one has an insane amount of high end, I could see using it for solos maybe, but that's about it.

    Yo people. Any help would be appreciated,
    what is the best way to get the sound of a DAW playing it's sound straight into recording a video? or is this done while editing the video, adding as a separate audio track? and same for getting the recorded microphone sound he's talking through, or again is it through the DAW audio going into the video?
    Also the screen recording as part of the shot while having the camera recording on screen too?

    Hi Matthew great vidéo!! I just purchase this vst and can't get this awesome tone that everybody seem to have with it. I use Solar guitar A1.6 with Duncan Solar pickup and my audio interface is Focusrite 18i8 gen2. It seam i need to put a overdrive in front en then straight in the audio interface becose that sound not crunchy at all. Yes i setup the gain on the audio interface near clipping like what it say in the stl manuel. But like i see in your video you dont seam to set that gain near cliping and you get that god tone. I have try combinason of overdrive, without overdrive, overdrive with distortion (so much noise on that one) and i play with the gain interface and i can get even close of all that good tone you all get. Thanks so much for that video. From Dominic Canada!

    Maybe it's my gear, cables, strings, I don't know, but why oh why does my sound, sound muffled ish or distant? Weird. The vst is amazing, but my gear always seemed to sound muffled. I have new strings and all. Could it be my interface? It's a focusrite Scarlett 2i4.

    • @butcher_0392
      @butcher_0392 4 роки тому

      @panasony23
      The interface definitely has a lot to do with the sound, since it is the one that receives the signal from your guitar and with its preamp you have the DIs to reamp in the different plugins.
      The focusrite scarlett is the worst crap you can buy, it is a total waste of money, I go through the same process as you always having a terrible sound of my guitar, undefined, boomy, crap, change pickups, strings, picks, cables etc. .
      And in the end I discovered that the damn interface was the problem, it was a disappointment since it has a good reputation and seemed a reliable brand. But it turned out to be just misleading advertising.
      I sold that shit, I bought a pod X3 LIVE and it was the best decision, I do not regret it at all, I use it as an interface and as an amp sim, it is EXCELLENT AND THE BEST? You get it at just 200 USD

    • @Spoofaged
      @Spoofaged 4 роки тому

      @@butcher_0392 not sure what you're on about, but running a Scarlett solo I had no problems with a $200 js22-7 Jackson dinky out of the box, and a custom LP I built ($350 total). I got a used $50 Epiphone LP special vintage edition and had some noise issues that I fixed by changing the pots and cap ($20 bucks) and it also sounds great through the solo.
      Could be a bum interface, but could be other things also. Like monitors your playing on, cables, guitar issue like the pots, capacitor, or bad grounds or shielding. Those are cheap and fairly easy to fix.
      When I first got the focusrite tho, it took me a bit to figure out the best gain staging for recording, and I thought about returning it, but now I'm happy with it after spending some time figuring it out
