    Dude just showed his pump cover and this might disappoint many of you but muscle growth is a slow process and this much muscle takes atleast 3-4 months to grow no matter if you do 100, 1000, or even a million pushups a day! Results do not come overnight

      Except calisthenics are different and cause the body to metabolize faster. Maybe not two weeks but he's shown an appropriate amount of pump for maybe 3 weeks. Being locked up gives you time to do this and I got to like 975 push ups daily in the span of a month and a half while starting out I couldn't even do 8 push ups I also did sets and saw similar gains so it really also depends on the person and what you're doing and how you're spacing it out

      @@שגהש very very unlikely to be true doesn't make it less true. The more body weight exercises you do the more you burn because it's half cardio. Meaning your metabolism is working at a faster rate. I've also lived this so whether you want to believe it or not lol not my problem you probably shouldn't say things like unlikely if you're trying to say somethings wrong unless you haven't done research

    From personal experience, I can tell you that after watching Tate challenging me to do pushups, I did 300 pushups daily until I reached 500 per day after about 15 days. I was honestly surprised by the amount of chest muscle I had gained, My chest was so skinny before u could easily count my ribs by looking at it. But then it's so muscular now.

      Locking out at the top does nothing for you dude.
      Its better to keep constant tension for better pumps, mind muscle connection & hypertrophy.

    If you want strength over muscle, definitely a good way to do so. Although full range of motion is important! Of course doing 1k pushups for at least 28 days straight is a lot and definitely would recommend doing different variations of pushups to make it easier on you, that way you can keep up with the goal.

    Honestly, I used to do 500 a day and I would take one day off and I can’t believe how jacked I got. I got more yoked than doing any kind of free weight workout. The problem is it’s repetitive and can be kind of boring so you gotta find the system and entertain yourself. It’s not even really about motivation. It’s just about discipline at that point.

      It just takes time bro, if you hit a plateau w push ups try weighted chest exercises. I was the same, now I can do 40-50 reps in each set and can go for 4-5 sets in 5 mins normally.

      Half reps are apart of training. You can do half lower reps and then half upper reps. Chris heria also does that training check him out

    Do 3-5 sets of 6-12 repetitions with good form and range of motion resting 30 sec. to 120 sec. between sets. Rest that muscle group for 24-48 hours before working it again.
    If you can do that before near muscle failure (you'll never reach true muscle failure) and find it's too hard, reduce the weight or use an easier progression. If it's too easy, increase the weight or use a harder progression.
    If you want strength and power do less repetitions with higher weight. Hypertrophy (muscle growth) occurs during the 6-12 range. Anything above will give you endurance.
    So instead of doing 100 push ups, do 50 of a harder variation. Increasing the number of push ups you do doesn't make you stronger, more powerful, or make your muscles bigger, it just means you can do push ups for a longer period of time.

    Only idiots wasting whole life on this will do such stuff all the time,
    Fitness and strength are must but along with other important parts of life.
    Not many have enough time to waste on 1000 pushups when 4 sets are enough of 12-20 reps.
