I can understand why this video took so long to make, so much information. Thank you for your effort mate!
🥺Thanks man. Yeah, it took so much time and work. Always working to give the best possible output from my capacity.
TONS of information and evaluation jampacked into this review video for sure..thanks a ton!!
Excellent video, exactly what I was looking for.
You're welcome❤️
Wow bro, truly a massive comparison. Thanks for this video ❤
Thank youuuuu❤️
Outstanding! 😮 I can't imagine how much time it must take to take note of all of the differences. I already have the Hola, Wan'er, QKZxHBB, and Castor Bass but now I'm tempted to pick up the Zero 2 at some point. The rest sound like they would be too energetic up top for me. Thank you for another excellent comparison! 👍
Yeah man. it takes soo much time and work.
Zero 2 is really well done for a balanced tuning. Nothing feels lacking nor nothing so remarkable. Easy to recommend. Thank you for your support❤️
Unfortunately, i found my Tanchjim One unit defected. I don’t know how it happened, but now it sounds tinny and smaller. Low end remains the same but, mid range and highs sounds too off. I can definitely remember this isn’t how it sounded when i got them. I tried different cables too, nothing change.
That’s why it didn’t made to this comparison(replaced it with Wyvern Pro). If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I really wanted it to compare with Zero 2 extensively like others, but it is pretty unfortunate(or do you have any issues with your units)
Extremely sorry for this.
Wow. Amazing job. I have tried everything except zero 2, and I think we have almost the same impression haha. Thanks for this content.
Which is better among ur usage
@@aaronvarghese6955 i love Truthear Hola and Ziigaat Nuo. But now I end up with Tripowin Piccolo and TRN Conch.
@@nanakabe for 2k ,best iem?
😁Thank you so much. Zero 2 is like a middle ground in everything, but really well done.
Your channel is getting better and better with every video. So much information and details. I love how you include the pictures of iems so we get the idea about their fit and size
Can you share an EQ profile that you use for taming harshness of Waner? I have them and they are too energetic for me
Thanks man, if you have any suggestions, let me know. I like to make the changes to make my videos even better(except talkingi'm working on that too)
For the EQ, Boost about 2dB under 300Hz and tame down gradually after 3k/4k. Keep the rest unchanged.
Great 👏✌️
Thank you so much.❤
Now that's review! We'll done!
Thanks man.
Nice 👍
Thank you❤️
Are you planning to do some videos about different ear tips? Do you experiment with them or just stick with one?
Yeah, but at the moment it seems pretty difficult for me as there are lots of variety and all the better ones are pretty expensive.
For these comparisons i use the stock ear tips. Balanced ones. I have the Tangzu Sancai tips and they are better than the stock ones, for the price, i can recommend them easily. Fixes the shoutyness and harshness for some extent.
What all will be i missing if i choose moondrop chu 2 over truthear hola?
As for my preference i do like slightly more bass not too much just a little above balanced , treble i like balanced not very high (becomes fatiguing for longer sessions)
For your requirement the Chu 2 won’t work well as it is a shouty and also sibilance is there. Hola got a slightly darker treble response and doesn’t have any ear piercing nature, but the problem is the Hola is discontinued now. Isn’t it?
I recommend you the Zero 2 as it is the best option to go. Everything well balanced and no any problematic areas.
Which one will you pick between Castor Bass, Wan'er and the Zero 2?
I often listen to EDM and love the thumps but I also listen to melody and instrumental songs.
Which one to go for?
I love them all. But when listening to EDM, i mostly use the Wan'er as it gives the right amount of energy. Forward mid range and tighter low end delivers satisfying amount of energy. But can be too harsh sometimes. Use EQ or narrow bore tips. Zero 2 is the most versatile. It sounds well balanced and good for many genres. Good for EDM too but lacks the energy i like. Castor bass got the punchiest low end, and it is fun to listen to. The thing I miss is the mid range forwardness. It is pretty recessed, so you don't get that energy there.
nice, i have to get my hands on a zero2 and qkz hb just out of curiosity
Guve them a try, they are great sets. Look for some offers on AliExpress.
For house and techno music which would be the best pair? I have the Zero 2 but really don’t like how they fit my ears, need something more comfortable that I can wear for longer.
For those genres, i highly prefer the Wan'er and Nuo. Mainly Nuo. That tight and hard hitting mid bass is a treat for those genres.
Nuo is more refined than the Wan'er, but more expensive. Also you get sharp and spicy kind of treble, it is not harsh and ear piercing. but can be too much at higher volumes. You can use some eq to fix that.
From the comparison, i am compelled to buy Castor Harman though i already have Castor Bass.
Anyway, comparison to ZVX would be appreciated.
i was thinking to compare to EDX Pro as well but i noticed recent unit has been changed its driver to the one similar in EDX Lite.
Compared to ZVX, ZVX is way more energetic, mainly on the higher frequencies. It still got better low end than the Zero 2, but too much treble energy leads to fatigue.
Your choice will depend on your requirement. If you want more energy in music QKZxHBB, Wan'er, ZVX and Nuo are the better options. But if you want accurate sound, Harman and OG Zero are better with great technicalities.
Zero 2, Hola, Castor bass are in the middle ground, but in their own way.
Chu 2 is for shout cult, second by the EW100p.
@@weirdear95i appreciate the elaboration.
Thank you so much.
great video.! im using waner now can you tell me what eq is best for this iem?
Thank you❤. For wan'er, use a high cut eq over 3/4k. tweak the right amount for you. Also boost the low end below 300Hz, not a huge boost though. Experiment a little, you'll find a nice balance.
@@weirdear95 thank you so much. you deserved more views and subscribers ❤
I appreciate your work. I came here, because I was confused rookie between zero 2 and wan'er. Now I'm confused between zero 2, hola and nuo.
I've been using 'casual' earbuds for years, so most important for me is quality.
I'd like to use it to everything- music, games, films.
What do you think?
This hobby is getting complex day by day😁. Nuo got an energetic sound signature, hola got a relaxed sound signature and the Zero 2 is the most well balanced set at the budget. All these 3 IEMs are good for gaming. Your choice will depend on your preference. Hola and Nuo got the best build quality and their cables are the best at budget.
Is that quality very different? If so I think I'll go with nuo. Also what about comfort/long using- are they very similar?
Hey, would be nice if you could reply on which is the best iem for me. I prefer bass over treble, and the mids are the least important for me. I prioritize detail, imaging, cable quality, fit and sound stage. I'm a kind of basshead but don't like it fatiguing. My favorite genres of music are house, trap, and edm. Also will be using for gaming. Am thinking rn of zero 2, nuo, and castor bass. Also I found Castor in AliExpress for 4.5 usd, Zero 2 for 14, and Ziigaat Nuo for 18.46. Nice video BTW, exactly what I was looking for, very detailed.
Thanks man❤️
If you can get the Castor for that price. Get them, it is a steal🔥It is great for your preferred genres. I'm a EDM fan too, so I can recommend the Castor bass easily.
Thanks for the advice. Been thinking of the Castor too. I'll definitely get one. @@weirdear95
@@weirdear95 Thanks for the advice. Been thinking of getting the Castor too after some time of looking through reviews. I'll definitely get the Castor now.
@@chrispygaming4791 You won't regret.
i am a beginner and I am thinking of buying an [ iem zero 2 ] headset. I have an Android phone with a 3.5 port and type c. Do I need dongle (dac ) ?
Dongle will definitely improve in both sound quality and technicalities wise. But for the Zero 2, the 3.5mm is enough. It is easy to power through the phone. First get the Zero 2 and then think of the DAC.
@@weirdear95 thanks for help ,and great videos
best set for vocals (especially female) among these ?
Original zero and Chu 2 are better for female vocals.
Which one should i buy? Zero 2 or Tangzu Wan'er or Truthear gate ? (I mainly play valorant and listen casual music)
For gaming, the budget ones don't provide enough for competitive gaming. But they does a good job. From these 3, last one is the Wan'er, then gate and my recommend is the Zero 2. Gate is also great fro gaming, but it's sound signature is pretty thin. It requires EQ to sound great. As it is not possible to use EQ while gaming, zero 2 is the one i recommend.
@@weirdear95 okay thanks for suggestion and in future i will try to increase my budget :)
What is the best for confort and balanced sound
Zero 2 is the choice.
What could be best upgrade from Zero 2?
I still haven't found an upgrade to it. Truthear Zero red comes pretty close but i still prefer the zero 2.
I have 12 IEMs :
✅ CCA Rhapsody
✅ KZ X HBB PR2
✅ QKZ X HBB Khan
✅ KZ D-Fi Switch
✅ HZSound Heart Mirror Zero
✅ TRN Conch
✅ Simgot EW200
✅ EPZ Q5
✅ 7Hz Sonus
✅ Tanchjim Zero
✅ SGOR Adonis
✅ KZ ZS10 Pro 2
Please give score 1 - 10 from scale 10 each IEM above that can deliver ultra clear, crisp female vocal voice & sensational experience when watching JAV movies
1 = the worst
10 = the best
Thanks Bro 🙏👍✌️😁
??????????????
which is the best for gaming?
Still the QKZ x HBB is unbeatable at this budget range.
Can somebody please "Rearrange this little chart from your personal preferences?
7Hz Sltones Zero 2
Castor Harman 1100
Waner
Ziigaat Nuo
QKZ HBB
KZ ZS10 PRO X
CCA RA...
MS1 GALAXY
The first thing you need to keep in mind is that these are tuned differently. They have their own strengths and weaknesses. I will arrange them from my preference.
1. Wan'er
2. Castor bass
3. Zero 2
4. Ziigaat Nuo
5. QKZxHBB
6. MS1 Galaxy
7. CRA
I don't have the zs10 pro x.
I have tangzu wan'er and castor bass. I want better soundstage and details, midbass. I Want best iem according to price to performance ratio.under 200$
Hey, as i don't have much expensive IEMs, I can't suggest you one, sorry😐. Many recommend the Pula PA01 as the best IEM under $200, but I have seen some says that they are just average.
how is better chu2 dsp or the zero 2?
DSP version seems to be a better option than the 3.5mm.(As other reviewers said) but as i don't have them, i got no idea.
But between the Chu 2 and Zero 2, I pick the zero 2 as it is well balanced and easy to listen to. Chu is tastefully tuned, but it is shouty and sibilance is more present if you are sensitive to them. Both are great options and will come down to your preference. For me, I choose the Zero 2.
@@weirdear95 thanks allot , that's really help
@@garmadonuniversel My pleasure❤
Which should i chose under 2k
I need to know about your preference.
@@weirdear95 good instrument seperation, vocal clarity, better bass, also gaming,,using for long hour usage
More importantly,I have inbuilt 3.5jack so I want to connect it with that
@@aaronvarghese6955 Zero 2 is a better choice for your requirement.
any eq profile for waner? :")
Is it too harsh for you? If so, you have to adjust the low end and upper range. No need to do anything to the mid range as the mid range is really good on wan'er.
Give a little boost under 300Hz and gradually cut above 3.5-4kHz. I don't do heavy EQing as i don't like to make things complicated.
tnx man 🥺
zero 2 have no mic 💀
Hmmm, unfortunately yes. Zero OG comes with different cables btw.
Zero 2 is crap even compared to zero 1 and don’t even stand compared to cheaper and better of the ones on the list. I guess the collaboration with the utuber guy is overrated and sucked😂😂😂😂
Yeah, the collaboration is overrated. But i think you are a treble head. These 2 versions cater 2 different audiences. The Zero OG is definitely unique and it is one of a kind.
This one tuned to target rhe mainstream audience without caveats. Good low end, good mid range, good treble and good technicalities. That's why it is easy to recommend for someone.
Totally overrated
Actually, if you want the best overall balanced sound, zero 2 is my recommendation. It does everything well. Most safe set.
This is bullshit who do u think can read so fast to even understand wat ur saying
Seems like you are missing PAUSE button.
Hey, it's pause and read format. Different format. I know it is not the most practical and most pleasing way, but you can select the comparison you need and then pause and read. Like to know if you have any suggestion.
Use pause button, genius
