Yes indeed! I have had my set now for like three months. I use them with my Yeti mic and the combo works flawlessly! That combo is even cheaper than most high end brand gaming headphones. Love them, glad you have changed over. Crinnacle is awesome!
Yeah I’ve got them paired with the 10o adapter and my Mixamp pro, can’t go back to any of my headsets now
@@INTHEARKADE Same, I rock it without the adapter but that is just preference as no two people are alike. Never buying another gaming specific headset again.
Do you have any eq for the crinacle zero blue?@@NuttyProf3ss0r
With IEM's I started at everyone's default recommendation of the Moondrop Arias. They were nice and worked well although I had no other reference, then I wanted to get something extra nice and on black friday sale I picked up the Sennheiser IE600 for half price ($500 AUD) which Crinacle says is the only good IEM they have made.
The Sennheiser IEM's are so much smaller in size and so much more comfortable than any of the Chifi IEMs. I know Optimum Tech really likes the IE300 which you talk about in your video, I would just recommend getting a new cable for it (I got the Linsoul Tripowin Zonie), Sennheiser use a proprietary MMCX 3.5mm connector, so you have to cut the little plastic white and red rings off the cable to get them to fit, but its worth it.
Because all Senn's iems are single DD (only one dynamic driver per side), and most chi-fi stuff are more than one. Single DD is usually a smaller package, thus smaller shell. For example, Simgot EA500LM is a lot smaller than their EM6L or Supermix 4. For hearing health, I'd still keep a pair of headphones around.
i bought zero reds while ago and biggest upgrade was when i bought moondrop dawn pro dac/amp that made them much better than before. and i don't have to crank volume higher than 60%.
Awesome! Im using the Astro mixamp and I only need volume at 90% so I think im quite happy, just some other people may want a little extra volume
Since you have the astro a40 mixamp what do you have on the volume knob sliders thing? how do you setup up the IEM with the astro a40 mixamp?
Yeah so the mixamp lets me use custom EQ with the IEMs, also I can control voice chat and game volume independently
They work just the same as the A40s but without the mic obviously
Moondrop Chu 2 vs Truthear x Crinicle Zero Red vs Final Vr3000
What to choose for gaming please help ????
Final Vr3000
@@INTHEARKADE not Truthear x Crinicle Zero red ?
@@K1M01 they are great trust me, but the final are designed specifically for gaming and also have inline volume control and I think a mic as well. These don’t have a mic or controls
@@INTHEARKADE yea
@@K1M01 you can get zero with mic, it’s on the cable, but works fine.
I feel like you've suddenly been unplugged from the matrix and now you "get it" lol. Best advice i can give you is upgrade your amp. Get rid of the astro as it will be holding you back and it's not like the xbox 360 days where we needed a voice chat-game sound mixer as most of that is now available via software anyway. A good quality dac/amp (even budget) and then over time slowly try out other iems and proper headphones. Enjoy your new hobby but be careful, some of us fall down the rabbit hole of constantly obsessing over sound and chasing something that will never be satisfied.
Yes that is exactly what I felt like! Thought I had to spend $200 for something to sound half decent
Thankyou for the advice I’ll ditch the amp and try it out
can you elaborate more on the volume issue you mentioned? do you mean they never get loud enough? like you cant hear properly?
No you can hear perfectly fine, and for me it’s just right. But the volume doesn’t go super loud to the point where it’s distorted. Some people like extremely loud music but these are just for gaming for me.
It’s hard to explain unless you try them for yourself
@@INTHEARKADEthis is because this earphone is a little more difficult for your equipment to play, it requires more power from the audio source. Is a common issue in this IEM world, and for resolve this you will need an dedicated DAC Amp to power up the earphone. The volume will be much higher, and you will even hear a little bit more details from the sound.
I tried IEM for the first time.
After a lot of reviews i decided to order Tangzu Wan'er, praised by a lot of audiophile for being among the best budget IEM.
Some even placed it S tier first position before some more expensive IEM like Truhear Hexa.
Anyway, at the moment i use HD560s and HE400SE.
I am not a seasoned audiophile but as soon as i plugged in those IEM i could tell that they sounded really bad. I guess i was expecting too much.
Comfort wise it is also terrible, i tried, i will stick to Headphones.
I can respect your review, IEMs can be very comfy for one person but not another and also this can affect how good they sound sometimes. For me they are great and give me the sound I like, I have very sensitive hearing so I love how they don’t blow my eardrums when on max volume
That is problem with the hype, they are good for 20$, but that is it. They aren't better than the Hexa, at least to my ears and confort/sound wise in the same price range, i prefer the 7HZ Salnotes Zero.
I think they are S tier, in terms in bang for the buck, if you like thir Soundsignature, but you are used to the hd560s and HE400SE, which are more expensive and have a better sound quality. If you go for iems above 80$, It's a different story. Anyway, I prefer my KSC75 and Porta pro to the hd560s,lol
They aré too muddy for my, the reds aré a lot better but not the Best too, they are too balance and plain, simply boring
how do they compare to your a40s i have a 40s currently thinking about getting iems
The soundstage and clarity from the A40 is better, also for directional game audio the A40 are better aswell.
The IEM are obviously more comfortable, and have better bass delivery so more enjoyable for music.
I use the IEM with the A40 Mixamp, and they are a good combo but you don’t have a mic obviously.
Unless you find the headsets uncomfortable, I would stick with the A40 headset
@@INTHEARKADE idk everytime i take off my a40s is plucking a strand of hair and now its starting to thin in those areas so I thinking getting iems but if the clarity and directional audio is significantly worse maybe not I willl probably end up buying the reds
@@jonathanmoreira8930 they are very cheap at just £50 on Amazon, you could get them to try and then return within 14 days if you don’t like them
If you prefer iem, try Blon BL-03
By now, those are bit outdated, you can have better for 20$ with better fit and sound.
This is not 2020
i just picked up the dusk iem that came out late april
Awesome! Let us know how they are
wait til he discovers open backs
Open back IEM? Not for under $50 I’m assuming
Bro i think , truthear x Crinacle - Zero (blues) are better , i have one.... Its literally a wall hack😂.... But reds are better for Listening to music
Yeah I was unsure what to go for, Crin said the reds were the same but tuned to how he prefers them so I just went for it, may pick up a blue set if you recommend
What would be the better pick if I listen to music but also play games?
@@ambasing69 headphones are always the best sound quality for both, but if you want IEM then go for Sennheiser IE300 but they are much more expensive. If you want cheaper you’ll need to watch some reviews on those as I haven’t tried any others
@@INTHEARKADE Nah I’ll pass on headphones I don’t want to get the head dent and IEMs are more comfortable, but thanks for the suggestion
@@ambasing69 yeah I’ve completely ditched all my headphones now it was the best thing, you can sometimes find the sennheiser IEMs for around 100GBP or 150USD but good luck with the search
