Sir My grandfather started his living from Jamshedpur.He used to cook for many Parsi people who were staying in a parsi hostel.Then after that he opened a restaurant. All the Parsis knew my grandfather.There food was awesome.I have eaten lots of Parsi food.I have an emotional connection with them.

Recently, my husband was sitting right behind you, Ranveer, on a vistara flight from Mumbai to kolkata. Seeing everyone greet you on the flight, he asked you what was your name( he had no idea who is Ranveer ) It was only when my son and me told him how big a fan we were of you, did he realize that you were " that chef". I like knowing the origins. why they are and how they are these sort of things. I am a vegetarian who eats frugal meals and has no interest in any kinds of cooking whatsoever. But i can't know why you've become a part of things and people that i value the most. My momma is your fan too. She likes the cooking part. I had recently been to this dharamshala with my family and we all had a wonderful time there.What a beautiful n nature friendly place. Hilla aunty is truly an angel serving people who come to worship there. She serves delicious authentic Parsi food with love .
We even had the bakery items from their UDVADA BAKERS and all d stuff was awesomely tasty. Hilla aunty, Shezad n her entire team is v v hardworking . The rooms were very clean n everything was very well organised.
The best place to have authentic parsi food in UDVADA.
Can non Parsi stay at Dharmshala?
Seeing this episode from Vancouver and feels so nostalgic! I'm half parsi, native to Udvada and still have a bungalow there with close relatives who holds this castle of childhood memories alive.. ❤ 🥹

I know Hilla personally. She is an amazing large hearted lady. I am from Udwada and my sister resides there permanently. Hilla sends her food very often. My thanks to Ranveer for this programme.
Ranveer thank you so showing udavada and also glimpse of Gujarat, would like to mention here that the Architecture of this old building is called " Haveli " architecture it has been a popular kind of design where you see this hallways and balcony that is uplifted inside and also outside the house. It's a typical Gujarati thing. You can even go to " pols" of Ahmedabad central city or Vadodara and you would find such buildings and people are still residing. Dont want to add a religious tadka here but Vaishnav people of Gujarat still calles Krishna Mandir or Shreenathji mandir as Haveli. Hope you find this interesting.
