    Awesome explanation on delays man! As a guitarist who’s been in worship for years now this video was still exponentially helpful. Keep up the great work! 🙏🏼

    What synth was you using for that intro?

      There might be a pad underneath it, but I'm pretty sure the main drone sound you are hearing is a guitar with delay + Valhalla Shimmer! I can't find the session anywhere to confirm. I did this such a long time ago, I don't fully remember.

    What song is that at 3:54?

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  6 місяців тому

      Haha it's not actually either of these songs, but it's reminiscent of "Where The Streets Have No Name" and "Shut Up And Dance."

    is this the best delay stacking chain too?
    quarter>eight>dotted eight

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  Рік тому

      I don’t use a lot of stacked delays, but when I have, I usually have whichever delay rhythm I’m trying to hear the most first. Most of the time that’s dotted>quarter. But like anything, I would just experiment to see what sounds best to you!

    How about half notes. Maintain the BPM. Tap in on the 1 and the 3. Try it.

      That can be cool!! Especially for some really dreamy, hypnotic stuff! :)

    Dotted eight what is the setting BPM tap tempo for this sound. And quarter note what is the setting BPM tap tempo for this sound? Eight the same question? Please I have a timeline and big sky

    • @JustinMuncy
      @JustinMuncy  Рік тому

      You have to adjust the BPM to whatever the BPM of the song is. The quarter and dotted eighth is just a subdivision of the BPM.
