Phil Collen, in his early 60's, still shirtless, and can! The dude looks to be in better shape than most guys half his age.
He does martial arts and works out so he should look like that lol
@@undeadknight01 One of the most lethal men I know, a ninja man, could stand to lose 20 pounds. You tell him.
@@waterhead1029 lol
@Chatsworth Osborne, Jr. Steve Clarke was their best guitarist.
Está buenísimo!!!
I don’t understand why it took until 2019 for these geniuses to be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Their music has inspired so many bands and is one of a kind ❤
The same geniuses that still have not allowed Toto to enter the RRHOF.
@@generatorx thats the RRHOF for ya. At least they put in the fan vote or the likes of Leppard and Bon Jovi would still not be inducted.
@@generatorxor Foreigner...
Please allow me to introduce you to the Hall of SHAME! It took 13 years for RUSH to finally get in, and that took the fear of one million irate Rush fans showing up in Cleveland! But they did induct the GoGos, so I guess it's a wash!👎
EXACTLY !!!!!!
Joe developed pretty severe vocal nodules. I admire that he didn’t take the easy way out and went for the high notes. He hit them, just not with the same power he once had.
That's what happens when your vocal chords get damaged. That's hard on a singer.
Rick Allen lost his arm and he said im still gonna kick ass and didnt give up.
If you notice , He plays the snare drum parts with his Left Foot ….He's Lucky that technology came out to enable him to do that when He lost his Arm …. Normally losing an Arm as a Drummer would have meant Retirement .
The band didn't give up on him either which is really awesome!
Thats why people loves this band
Bro he can do what most two armed drummers wish they could do
@@chriscjc8868 “come out”? More like they invented for him to play. If I’m remembering right the things he uses were built by him and the band
They are older, Joe can't hit the notes like he could, and to me none of that matters I genuinely love this band and their catalog of music. Was so happy they were inducted
amen to that
Hes hitting everything. Its just a little wimpy
dirkworld That’s true. He is singing falsetto, so it sounds weak. Not as energetic compared to the younger days, but still great to hear and see them play!
Yeah
Def Leppard
Soundtrack to our lives
This was an incredible moment
Thats not a right answer...Check on Iggy Pop 70 years old and sings like his 30's
Rick Allen is an inspiration. You can't tell the man is playing drums with just a hand. He is hitting double solos as well as electric snare with his left foot. Every one in Def Leppard are class act. But Rick takes my heart as always.
Well said
As a drummer I have many drumming heros - non more so than Rick - he is an shining example of the human spirit
He’s (probably) the best drummer ever, even with just one arm
Rick Allan is the best drummer of Def Leppard but he is still playing drums with his one good hand and arm
Rick Allen is amazing guy because he was married to a women. Called miriam and he lost his arm in a car accident do he had his seat belt tore his arm off ,so as he plays the drums with one arm he is really awsome guy to be alive .
I also like the way Vivian Campbell quietly stepped into the late Steve Clark's role......and 30+ years later, he is still there.
A word for Rick Allen please. What a guy!! How many drummers can you think of with the mental strength to come back from an injury like that...
No doubt
@@barbaraemory7948 None save the one
Loved that the band stuck together! They could have replaced Rick, but starting stuck together through the good as well as the bad like brothers!!
Ironically beefore the accident he was considering giving up drumming its that which made him want to continue
Totally agree
5 guys from Sheffield England. To think the Pyromania Album 40 years old. The song Photograph brings a chill up my spine. Was 15 years old in 83. Now I'm 55
This poor man's voice ❤ Can't hit those high notes anymore but those deeper ones he still kills. I love Def Leopard!
I am surprised he didn't sing it down a half a note or so on the high parts to get more power...
I noticed that. They have been rocking for years so his vocal cords are tired out.
Yeah, that's what age does to ya. But... the overall performance, including the vocals, was great. 👌
Timeless riff. RIP Steve Clark.
Hands down, one of THE greatest rock vocal tracks ever recorded.
that may be true for the original release , however you must admit , this performance , was not even near close to the young version, and Im a huge fan, there comes a time in life where you have to make some tough choices , like stop on a high note, they didnt
@@guglielmodicarlo4139 Bingo
Pyromania and Hysteria are 2 of the very best rock n roll albums of all time!!
I saw this band in the early 1990's and they absolutely rocked for over 3 hours, non stop and gave everything that they had. Yeah, their voices have aged but they still have passion and energy. There is a reason that they are in the Hall of Fame.
If you heard how damn powerful joes voice was from 81-93, you’d understand why his voice isn’t as great. He literally sang harder and more powerful than probably any other mainstream rock artist of those days. ROCK STAR!
And if you listen to Euphoria (1999) and then Yeah! (2006), especially their cover of Stay With Me, you'll understand what made his voice change.
The f’n Catalina Wine Mixer cmon get real, I live Def Leppard but to say he sang harder than anyone else is just pure nonsense. It has all been studio trickery and a million overdubs in the studio to get that sound. I’ve seen them as far back as the early 80’s a number of times and his voice live has always been subpar, and ima fan
@@1earedwolf Phil is actually the one singing lead on Stay With Me because he does such a great Rod Stewart impression. Hell Raiser was definitely a great Joe performance on that album though
If you wanna hear someone that sang hard and still does that would be Rob Halford of the Almighty Judas Priest
Ever heard of brian johnson?
After all these years Def Leppard can rock the house like nobody's business. One of the greatest rock bands of all time.
🤟🏼🤟🏼🎤🎤💖
Joe Elliott and Sammy Hagar are probably two of the best singers of the 80s and 90s. Even today they sound phenomenal!
In rock music yes, Axl Ross is another one
And don't forget Brian Johnson. Highly overlooked, but insanely capable.
Still a great band. Is not easy to still be able for Joe to sing exactly the same as his early 20's c'mon guys...I'm glad those guys are still around to save us from the crap music from today! Well done Def Lepard...thanks for the great memories! 🤘
I love they carry their Britishness where ever they go. Makes me proud to be British.
Joe Elliott may not be able to hit the high notes like he did back in the 80s and 90s, but his voice still kicks ass, as does the rest of the band.
Not really.
Yeah!
Saw them with KISS in 2014 amazing show
Wow, vocal quality is not good at all 😒
@@dennyhutsell4975 - This ain't the studio.
This is my favorite band of all time with so many great songs. These guys have been through hell and back. No bullshit, No drama, They just seem like a great bunch of guys. Rock on Def Leppard!
Rick Allen is what legends are made of as well as the rest of Def Leppard. I've seen them NUMEROUS times and every time they come around I see them again!
Forty plus years and I'm still in love with Def Leppard 😍
🤟🏼🤟🏼🎤🎤💖
Me too I'm in love with Def Leppard too
The fact he still sounds so amazing
I was only 7 years old , but My older Sister & the Radio wouldn't stop playing the Songs for 42 years..
That’s what cool sisters do.
61 years old and he still has that powerful voice! Bravo boys!
Joe has always had this amazing ability to put his cool raspy voice with falsetto into the high notes and make it sound so smooth and effortless not an easy thing to do. This was my favorite rockin roll Hall of Fame by far! Could have listened to another 2 hours of them so good.
Def Leppard!!!! Always will be iconic!!! They still pack them in and seen them six times. Brings me back to my childhood. Well deserved.
Seen em live 6 times!!! And as long as they keep touring, by God I'm gonna keep seeing them! Rock on Mighty Leppard!!!! 🤘🤘🤘
They still sound solid. Well done.
Favorite band growing up and still are. Damn well deserved honor!
I always loved Joe Elliott ❤️
@@crystalturner911 Very underrated!
@@crystalturner911 me too, in love with him as a kid
@@needahandle I had a crush on Joe when I was younger
I saw them in February of 1987, in the round, in Knoxville, Tennessee for the first time live...they were my favorites when I was younger, and still my favorites live. Saw them for the 14th time at the Exit 111 festival in Manchester, Tennessee at the Bonnaroo farm last year. Still great. Us old guys doing stuff...
Pre Hysteria concert. That’s great, did they play anything from that album? Hysteria came out that summer.
One of the most legendary rock songs played by one of the most legendary bands. And they absolutely rocked it at their induction ceremony. 😭 What an awesome moment in music history!
Well said💯😃
I find this performance
Absolutely incredible
Tje song and video
Are legendary
The 80’s omg the best music !!
Time goes by too fast .
Their success as the best selling rock band of the 80’s indicates they deserve to be here...
So sad that the clowns at the rock n roll hall of Fame took such a long time to induct these guys.
@@edgabrielocay3376 but they did get in, unlike Mötley Crüe
This was an excellent performance. Phil's great guitar solo, Joe making the most of his vocal range to hit the high notes even though he doesn't hit 'em like he used to, Rick hitting that single bass drum as fast as 2 legs on a double pedal at one stage. Everyone was on point and pretty close to how it sounds on the record, all things considered.
You might be the goofiest looking dude I’ve ever seen 😂😂
@@ultraelite5796 are you afraid others will say the same about you? Is why you don't show your own face?
The best band ever! I was so honored to attend to watch them get inducted.
YOU WERE THERE?!!?!?!?!?!?
Yes I was
Dena Monopoli's I salute you!!!!!!!!!
Def leppard are one of the best performing live band in all rock n roll history. Amazing video.
The song that introduced me to this band, and I never looked back! ❤ God Bless ❤
I still see the same guys from the video, just killing it! Def Leppard was huge when I was growing up- the soundtrack to my childhood in the 80s and 90s- in cars, arcades, portable radios.
Def Leppard must’ve been simply unreal live back in the 80’s.
They were good I seen them two times in the 80s. But far from my favorite concerts
@@johngill2853 do you think they were better on their studio albums compared live?
@@NickCADA definitely better on studio albums but still good live. There was just so much compition in 80's. AC/DC and Dio were much better live in 80's
They were, I saw them on the Pyromania tour. NJ Meadowlands Arena
Sometimes these rrhof performances go sideways but def Leppard are always on the money.
Still the sexiest guys on the planet 😍.
🤟🏼🤟🏼🎤🎤💖
Im so glad they're on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Well deserved and long overdue, they are awesome!✌😎🤟
After all these years they still bring it!! 👏🏻👏🏻 Saw them a few years ago, and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to. The crowd was totally loving these guys!
The greatest rock song of the 80’s!
🤟🏼🤟🏼🎤🎤💖
He STILL sounds as good as he did 35 years ago!! ROCK ON AND LIVE FOREVER!!
Long live Def Leppard, 15 concerts and 1 meet and greet in 2014.
Wow. Congratulations!!! I'm not jealous at all. Not at alllllllll! That meet and greet must have been fantastic. I've loved DL forever, and would have collapsed if I was ever invited to a meet and greet.
Not jealous at all.....😊
Def always been a fan, still rocking true to the beat. Love you guys. Rock on 🎸🎸
Hands down one of the best bands ever.Vivian Campbell is an awesome guitarist in any band he's in.Has an awesome Les Paul collection.Phil Collen is awesome.Always on top of his game.Great showmen.
Wow I'm just now seeing this video , those guys still look great and sound great , God bless them , and keep on rocking , instead of getting older we're just getting younger ,
I'm jus a cat from chicago who loves r&b n hip hop n all around good fuckin music n I jus so happened to hear this at wrk one night n it was a straight fuckin groove replayed it like 4 times tht night I definitely fucks wit DL!!!! Especially my mans bck there on the kit still rockin after tht crzy accident n as a drummer myslf I kno all to well the thoughts tht went through his mind at the time, the greatest come bck of all time🐐 fuckin love this song!!!
Can’t wait to see them this June in DC. I’m taking my son, who is also a fan for his 16th birthday. It’s going to be amazing to share this with him.
🤟🏼🤟🏼🎤🎤💖
I'm so PROUD of Def Leppard for making it into the 'Hall', and for defying the HATERS, and MOST OF ALL, STANDING BY THEIR DRUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😀🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
What rock fan or later even popular music fan hated these guys??
They we're huge ever since pyromania
@@johngill2853 I was referring mostly to later when, for example, in the movie 'Joe Dirt' (which I love most of) Kid Rock says the line, 'Def Leppard SUCKS!', and although it was a movie I always found it very wrong for ANY musician to say that about another. I didn't really want to throw Mr. Rock under the 'Bus', but felt I needed to explain where I was coming from.
@@groundscoresteve4964 kid Rock is probably just jealous of their success
Still waiting for the ‘Hall’ to realize that Mötley Crüe’s past is very similar to plenty of other acts and then induct them
my favorite metal band
This was so good they showed pictures of the real lyrical and musical brains of this band in Steven Maynard 'The Riffmaster' Clark. Who can ever forget one example of how cool he was strapped low, the intro and ride out solo to this song filmed in Colorado for the 'In The Round' concert tour. Magical. His loss remains incalculable. Joe's voice is fine. He was a bit rough this night but NO backing vocals Leppard do it right live. The 'Thunder God' smiling as always. I wish Phil still had his black and blue Destroyers. After he signed with Grover he's used Jacksons since the mid 80's.
It's so cool they are in the rock and roll hall of fame they deserve it they have been through so much together.
Watched them 8 times live when tickets where $15 watched them grow up when first started
They sound pretty damn good!!
RIP my Dad. Much to my surprise he said that Joe Elliot had one of the best voices he's ever heard.
I love this song 🎵 ❤️...I love Def Leppard 💕 ❤️ !!!!!
me too I love Def Leppard so much I love all they're songs my favorite song by them is Animal
a very well oiled rock machine!
had the honor to see them live in las vegas august 14th 2019
Joe is still such a great front man!!
I loved this song when I was 10 years old and I still love it at almost 50.
What a great band. When I was younger a friend gave me my first def leppard cassette and it was pyromania. Man she made me the happiest boy because that was my birthday. I was turning 12 and again it was the first cassette I've ever had. The beginning of a long love for rock and roll and metal. Stay cool , healthy and as always keep on rockin ;)
Still a great band. ❤
Such an amazing moment in rock history to be there to witness my life time superstar idols inductioned into the RRHOF... one of the biggest friggin' fantastic nights of my lifetime!
😎🎸🥁🎶❤️
Phil is a top 5 all time rock guitarist 💯
Rock the hell on Def Leppard! Nicely done!
Def Leppard and Guns n' Roses where my jam. So glad to see them still rockin' it out.
Finally! Well deserved! A fan since their first record "On through the night" album.
40+ years later? Just fantastic my English mates...and as a 15 year guitarist in 1983 US/NY, I just wanted to lose my acne and be you guys. 😊. I'll always love the role you played in my past/present.
One of my favorite band! Keep rocking!

Gracias por compartirlo me gusta mucho lo veo seguido gracias saludos
Truly they are one of the rock and roll greats up there with all the rest of the heavy rock bands of their era ..a time when groups were mega
Makes me tear up when I see Rick Allen drumming. I admire him
The R&R HOF perfs are always great! And 3:38 is the start of Phil’s closing guitar riffs that are amazing!
They still have the spirit!!!!
One group I can never see enough of performing live
Saw them in Ottawa On Canada in 2019.....Great show!!!!!!!!!
Classic - still holds up today in 2022
Hey were taking about 40 years since this was made sounds great to me. I was smoking Doobies to this song.

for being in their 60s, they sound amazing!
I'm actually Happy that the Band has preserved the original Music, Unfortunatetly... Jon Voice is going away, well, 40+ years have been more than enough Jon, I hope you Take a Break.
Amazing truly amazing
Good as ever the greatest 🎸 rock band ever.
Yes totally agree I've always loved Def Leppard

They have been through hell & back and made it Rock On
Best ever Def Leppard song 👌🇮🇹
I don't care if Joe's voice not like we knew it to be as long the band can deliver the sound we all were familiar to.
The golden years are gone
