Viv like many guitarists uses his guitars deliberately, and travel plays a huge part in what his rig is. Travel causes so many fuck ups, missing guitars and breakages. It is a stock guitar, nothing special.

It was only three months after his accident when he got behind a drum kit again. It was less than 2 years after his accident when he got back on stage. It's been over 36 years, and he's still at it. There are a lot of amazing musicians in this world, and tons of talented drummers, but Rick Allen is one of a kind.
