hey gr8 tutorials. i was wondering if you could do a tutorial for making a banner that looks like the one from here. or how would you go about creating a hand drawn image like the skull in the t shirt design with illustrator? here is img i.imgur.com/NN2ff0F.png
Wao, you really showed off with this tutorial, I don't speak English and I understood everything. I am not one of those who write in the comments, but it was excellent, fast, detailed and without delays. I begin to follow you, congratulations, make more video of this quality
That's brilliant Chris! I thought "do I really want to learn this?" but after watching it all through I realised there are several techniques in there that, even if you don't need to create chalk lettering, are just tutorial gold! Thanks for posting it. Btw: I thought you were extremely drunk while recording this one until I realised I'd still got Half Speed in the UA-cam Controls turned on from a previous tutorial :)
Thank you very much, this is very inspiring for me! I also like your comments very much and the way you present your work, well done! Great idea to use a pencil :-)

This is so cool but my hand hurts just watching this. My carpal tunnel would never allow me to create such awesomeness but I praise you for a job well done!
hi! tank you for your tutorial, is amazing everything you do, and so inspiring! I love the fonts you use in your differents art works. can you upload some fonts for us? tank you
Any advice about using paid fonts and usage so you don't get sued by font creator? Also I always hear people shouldn't distort someone else's font? How do you tell clients you are using a paid font? Do you charge clients the font? Do you tell clients to pay for the fonts to use?
illustrator is mainly used for creating vector based artworks, and also good for setting text as again it works with vectors. Photoshop is pixel based and therefor not the best for creating artwork but very suited to editing photos and simulating photo/realistic effects.
Plus when you create shapes in Illustrator they stay conveniently in 1 layer, whereas Photoshop creates a new layer every time a new shape is created. Basically use Illustrator to create the layout, etc. then you can switch over to Photoshop to add the effects.
You make the best tutorials, easy to understand and always with great results.
Thank you so much!
It's my pleasure! I'm glad to hear they're helping out. Thanks for the kind words :-)

What is exactly the difference between illustrator and photoshop?
