everyone has their own thing maybe u have the ability to be litteral, simple, straight forward (its a thing) or see things clearly that are simple to u but others cant think of or recognize at all lolol. not everyone has that creative jean but it doesnt meen theyre dead inside XD u just need inspiration
Haha, exactly, I'm the same - I practice the letters with great enthusiasm but to come up with ideas... that's another matter. I love getting inspiration from these vids.
Subscribed! Love this. Thanks for keeping the video short and to the point. I've seen all these styles before. As one "entity" they can be overwhelming to try to pick apart. This video just showed how simple and concise layering becomes intricate design. Thanks again.
Well, this was so fun and so interesting to watch! I’ve just started had lettering and I love all your enhancements. Thanks for putting this up even though it’s 6 years old found it quite useful.
Thank you for this vid! I appreciate that not all of it was centered around that (girly, to my eye) faux calligraphy...and that I didn't need to bust out my ruler or anything crazy. I used the "sticker" style last week and had fun with it! :)
Thanks for the video. Everyone who does these videos always seems to use the word "hi" or "hello". Lots of straight, easier lines! I get that it's for beginners but I just watched 3 and I still don't know how to make a 3D "S". Mine are terrible so I know I'm doing it wrong but everyone teaches you this angle method, which works great on straight letters but not curved.
👋Well done! The only tiny change I would suggest is to use different letters each time - angled and rounded lines are a little trickier than vertical and horizontals...
Hi Teela. -Do you have a book of lettering enhancements? I've looked all around and haven't found one single book that is JUST lettering enhancements and marker effects. I would buy that in a heartbeat!!!
Great tips, I like your styles, most of them I have used but some of them I didn't know. Shadowing is a tricky one for me, I really need to be careful with it! Thanks for the tutorial! ✨😁✏👍📖PS Thank you very much for the link to your practicing lettering sheets in your Freebies page. These are so helpful to me! 💗🤍🖊📓
My favs are the last two, unfortunately, due to the camera videoing from directly overhead, I couldn't see much of what she was doing. It was too fast at that point too, but I loved how it came out!
CLiKK i know some people don't like this but i personally think it looks fine, but when i do a block letter that's rounded i always make it more of a square, if that helps
I cannot emphasis enough how valuable this video is to someone interested in lettering. Thank you so very much
People who tell you what materials are required before they begin are golden
This reminded me of when I was bored in class back in elementary and doodled to kill time. Thanks Teela, for bringing out the artist in me once again.
I wonder what it's like being creative enough to come up with things like this
ヨセフィンえ you too can be creative if you learn to manifest that energy... Creativity is a way of being not a skill meaning it is not learned...
ヨセフィンえ lol
I wonder what it's like to just be creative, and that's why I have to watch these videos.
I'm dead inside.

Maybe the camera should be at your left and not directly on top so your hand doesn’t block the view.

The numbers on the Pigma Micron Fineliners ARE the (rounded) size in mm. So 05 is 0,5mm (0,45mm written on the pen). You told wrong sizes! 😉
Thank you. *:D.
