- "New" Ventum Bike for triathlon training!
Well, actually an old ventum bike, but new for me to use for indoor triathlon bike training. Ventum sent me an old Ventum Z to set up and leave on the trainer, so I can use my custom Ventum One for outdoor riding. Also, what the difference is between the Ventum Z and Ventum One.

Ahhh, so envious right now.. I wish I had even a roughly used Ventum Z! I'm riding a 6 year old road bike right now, and definitely don't have enough money to buy anything new.. Ahhh oh well, I'm off to do a 2 hour cycle now :) Enjoy NBD!
I was just about to pull the trigger on a Z (yes they like you and we benefit from this) but the $1000 duty/fees is a deal breaker now, especially after the USD conversion. They need to get these sold from Canada. Don’t we have free trade!
I was hoping the new ventum box had the road bike you teased the different colors for!
LS rides his $20K Canyon on his trainer all the time. I personally hate dropping so much sweat on the front end, especially with the carbon wheel right there
if ventum have any 58cm demo bikes they are throwing out, I would be more then happy to take them off their hands.
I got a brand new Giant TCR carbon w/ “Shaymano” 105 for US$1,300 to use solely with Zwift. Why do I need to be sitting down to watch this?

Can u tell me about a Sprint Triathlon. What shoes, helmet, wet suit, tri suit.... TT or road bike. I live in Orlando so FL isn’t Cold. It’s a 750m swimming 12miles bike 3miles run.

I watch for beginer tips. I know you have evolved as a triathlete and youtuber but pls remember i am still a novice i can never commit to a spare race bike/indoor set up like yours. If you have the time could you still do budget/ beginner versions of your training pls. Ps love your work man
I've done 854 videos, there's a ton of beginner content available that I've done -- and that I still do. Just because this video isn't necessarily geared to beginners, doesn't mean I'm not still doing beginner content!
N+1 FTW! I saved my old bike the last time I upgraded. Now I have a somewhat antiquated aluminum road bike for the trainer. Works great.

It is amusing how you get all worked up when you receive something new. Just embrace it, you work for it, and tell the viewers you got a new bike period. Should we not train on the same bike we plan to race on? Is there benefit by having our body in the exact position we will race in, especially if we need to hold a position for long distance races?
Yes, you should minimally. However, if you train on your race bike moderately that would require more maintenance up until race day.
