If Band-Maid isn't ripping your face off (Rinne, No God, Black Hole), they're soothing your soul (Manners, Daydreaming, Memorable). Their music does what great music is supposed to do... move you, if only for a moment, into another realm. What more could you ask for from a Band of incredible Maids?! Thank you Guys, for bringing your viewers into the Band-Maid experience.
"Poop them out" - guys your not funny....if you don't like the music just say so and stop reacting to the band! Disrespecting the band with comments like that is disgraceful and shows a real lack of maturity. Humour is a good thing but sometimes people go too far with it..... Respectfully from Canada
Rinne = Reincarnation. The MV was shot on 8mm film (with added effects). This was done for a reason. Saiki is a big fan of an old Japanese horror film of the same name. The plot is a serial killer films his victims dying on 8mm film believing it will capture the human soul leaving the body. To me it's an absolute banger, especially live. Akane's drumming is insane.
They used 2 super 8, 8mm film cameras and a couple of digital cameras with higher frame rates. Both Akane and Kanami were going too fast for the 24 FPS film shutter speed, so they used a camera with a 60 FPS rate to capture Akane's feet on the kick pedals and Kanami's fingers on the fretboard of her guitar.
The film "look" was an artistic choice to service the inspiration behind the song. Based on an old Japanese horror movie. The killer, using a film movie camera, films his victims eyes as they are dying. What criteria makes a banger? Is it mostly a heavy, catchy, funky beat?
Trying to be helpful here. Need to define "banger", otherwise nobody knows what you are talking about or referring to. Leaving the term so vague makes it difficult to understand what your point is other than some nebulous catch phrase. Most people would consider Rinne to be a very hard driving song with an insane drum bpm, frantic guitars, a powerful thundering base plus great vocals. Of course, music is all subjective but just saying it doesn't qualify as a banger is downright puzzling to most viewers.
I could see you guys enjoying it whether it is a banger or not. Line Cube Shibuya concert in 2020 started with this song with extended intro, which itself was a banger added to true banger. Band-Maid has the ability to elevate their songs into Banger level when they play it live. Non-fiction Days, Endless weren't even bangers (imho) but live version is. - if anyone has the live version of Rinne, send it to these guys, then they have to admit it IS a banger. I don't think the guy on the left will but the one with long hair probably will. Sorry guys it's just my wishful thinking.😅
First, if you guys don't consider Rinne a "banger," i need to ask what your definition of a "banger" is.... Second, the choice of video production was done on purpose. The video was a n homage ti a Japanese horror film of the same name where the killer would film his victims dying using an old 8mm camera to see if he could capture the moment the soul left the body.
Agree....we need to know their banger criteria. I'm confused. They need to further elaborate. Would they consider Screaming a banger? Surely Black Hole at 220 bpm is a banger
The band makes an artistic choice for a video, and you don't like it because the girls are pretty and you can't see them clearly in it. Doesn't that kind of limit their creativity a bit? Afterall, it's not a Britney Spears video. Also, if you are going to decide if a song, in your opinion, is banger or not maybe let us know what the criteria is to be one. You must realize that when you do a reaction video most of the people watching will be fans of the song your are choosing. It's okay to be critical but people will want to know why or it comes across as dismissive.
If you want Band-Maid bangers, try Clang, Moratorium, I Can't Live Without You, Secret My Lips and Fate, to name one a few. (Must be from the 2017 Studio Coast concert except SML).
@@albertcornett7408 However, I'd bet if they were standing at the front row of a Band-Maid concert, they'd think every song was a banger... even Endless Story! ;-)
Clang and Moratorium should be a staple of every B-M serving. And I Can't Live Without You doesn't rely on crowd interaction but it's one of my all-time favorites.
First it is pronounced rin (rhymes with tin) nay. Rin-ne is how it is written. Based on a favorite Japanese horror movie from 2009 of the same name. The MV is filmed in 8mm in accordance with the movie wherein the serial killer films the very slow deaths of his victims in that grainy 8mm film for him to review later at his leisure to look for signs of the soul leaving the body. The eyes are the window to the soul which is very British. The British put pennies on the eyes of the recently deceased in order to delay the soul leaving in order to give god time to receive you into heaven. It doesn't hurt to do a little research so that you have, at least, some idea of what you are talking about.
I thought the pennies over the eyes was a carryover from the Greek tradition, where the pennies were a payment to Charon to ferry you over the river Styx to the underworld. Otherwise, your soul would wander for eternity.
Not a banger, well that is subjective but you are well into the minority here. As for dissing the video style, classic talking about what you do not understand makes you seem rather ignorant of what they were aiming at here. The quip about net seeing the cute girls is just cringey.
Just my opinion from listening to rock for over 40 years. For me this is a banger. We must just define it differently. What song, from any band, do y’all consider a banger?
Your definition of "banger" seems to be very different than the rest of the world.

Well I'm just going to keep a eye on the comments with this one.

Maybe first has to define the banger concept or the limits of the craziness to reach that level to point the right song for you.
It was shot on 8mm film because the Japanese Horror movie that it's named for also used a lot of 8mm film.

Especially with the song at 190 bpm.

Knowing a song is a banger is super subjective for sure. I think it’s like love, you just know, and for others they might not agree.
Still annoying. Autoplay failed me again. Wish I can filter this channel out
I’m right there with you buddy
Rinne live is a must! Bandmaid official live is always better!❤
