I betcha a lot of people and including my mother been going a lot drinking when every time they listen to Marvin Gaye. I've seen it happen. Lol! I love that song.

Sorry, but I guess I'm old school and I grew up when this song was #1. It's the song that made Marvin Gaye one of my favorite singers along with Stevie Wonder and Al Green. Anyway, I know people can do this or that with songs now a days (remix), but, in my opinion, you don't mess around with perfection. One of the best songs of all time. RIP Marvin Gaye
"Let's get it on" was Lil Friend ringtone to me. He died from cancer. Everytime I hear this I cry. Such good memories. No romance yet we loved each other.💙
Marvin Gaye is one of the BEST American Musicians/Singers EVER. He was a GAME CHANGER & A TRUE ADVOCATE FOR HIS RACE OF BEAUTIFUL BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND OF EVERYYY RACE. HE WAS A MAN OF GOOD AND TRUE LOVE WHO LONGED FOR PEACE AND EQUALITY AND HIS SOUL SPOKE LOUDLY OF THAT. TY MARVIN! REST IN THE THAT YOU DESERVE. 🎶❤🎶
Most beautiful song ever it will never go out of style I've been listening to it since I was fourteen not this version of it but this is so beautiful I love the beat of the music that blues sound just makes you wanna dance and sing all night great job to the artist I love Marvin Gaye best singer ever, gone to soon!!
Esta vercion la escuchaba mucho cuando estaba refugiado en la base naval militar de guantanamo cuba usa entre 28 agosto 1984 al 12 octubre 1995 frente el rio y la entrada del mar viendo Pasar a los manaties
I was a 9 year old kid from the beautiful, funk and classic east bay town of Pittsburg and this little " dago " was singing his ass off to this now 4ever CLASSIC !!
I'M NOT GONNA WORRY ABOUT IT JUST LEAVING IT ALL IN GOD'S HANDS ❤ MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST RIGHT NOW. I'M JUST KICKING BACK LISTENING TO THE MUSIC AND LETTING IT SOOTH ME😂
Generation X are too young for songs like this, they missed the pinnacle of soul music from 1964-1973, relying on their older family members will never replicate being a teen/20s then and claiming they were cozigant during this era when they could barely read or write will never compensate what they missed. Thank you Marvin
In my opinion, this is your best achievement and your best work. I've been listening to your remixes for a few years now and enjoy many of them thoroughly. Unlike the typical remix, what I love about your work is that you aren't desperate to leave your fingerprint on the remix. You leave your ego out of it. So your songs *sound* like the original artist. As a result, a lot of your work becomes the answer to the question of, "What would an extended version of '____ ______ __ ____' have sounded like if the original artist had done one?" Imagine being given the gift of an extended version of "Stayin' Alive", "Night Fever", the Donna Summer songs, the Marvin Gaye songs, or any other track that happens to be someone's favourite... and that's what you've done. It's truly wonderful and I thank you. In the case of "Let's Get It On", I honestly never cared much for the original song. I think it is probably because I am fairly young, and this song is overplayed and a bit exhausted. Your remix made me truly appreciate the song because you stretch it out, and let the high points hit with the proper build up and release. Marvin's version has all of those high points, of course, but it is so tight knit that somehow, despite many listens, I never truly appreciated it. His "threatenin' you" line really hits, for example, and it is my favourite moment in your version.
Have my headphones on super loud 🗣️ and appreciating a world class tune by rocking my head back and forth and not giving a damn about my problems … Red Cup 🥤Approval Tune 🇿🇦 Thank you Soul Train for the journey …
Floored speechless... absolute Marvin Musical Magic at Motown Thanks SO much for this listening delight of (un)arguably the greatest love song ever penned KTF :)
I can see it now DJ. Hahahahahahahaha! Every time Marvin Gaye's sounds Let's Get It On comes up on the radio stations, people would ending up getting drunk or my mother would use to play the record over and over gain, until it skips. Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Marvin Gaye's songs goes way back a long way. You will not find these kind of music like these wonderful artist such as Marvin Gaye, The Spinners, Eddie Kendricks, Smokey Robinson, and Stevie Wonder. They are more artist I just couldn't name them all. I grew up with these old school artist. My mother had her Blues, so why not call these artist Blues now? I am into Blues.
HEY DJDISCOCATV2, YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO PUSH THE ENVELOPE WITH YOUR MUSIC AND EACH TIME YOU DO YOU END UP WITH SOMETHING THAT IS SMOKIN', HOT AND BADDDD TO THE MAX AND YOU HAVEN'T DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME. YOU HAVE GIVEN MORE LIFE TO THIS MIX THAT I THOUGHT COULD NOT BE BETTERED, WRONG AGAIN, KEEP SHOWCASING YOUR WORK AND I'LL WAIT TO ENJOY IT, AGAIN, NICE WORK.
