My biggest issues with roofs is the fact that something that is suppoadd to protect the home is so easily compromised because it has some surface damage. Either its better for business to make them our cheap marerial or we need to improve roofing technilogy.
The issue is, the insurance company will pay for it bc they didn't catch him in the act. Even if they did catch him, if the insured knew nothing about it, it could be switched from a hail claim to vandalism since it was an intentional act to cause harm to a person's property. In that case, they could go after the person that did it to collect their money back, send him a nice fine for insurance fraud, along with being arrested. The insured (again, if he/she knows nothing of it) would be the innocent party in the matter but unfortunately, would have a claim on their occurrence record. I guess the adjuster made sure the vents were not shown in his/her roof overview pictures. Clean as a whistle. Good measure to understanding the size hail you are dealing with, if there are impacts.
If I found out a roofer was damaging MY roof just to dupe MY insurance I would be pissed!!!! I'm not about stealing anything and as a homeowner part of the expense is maintenance. I hate paying for a roof BUT it's part of being a homeowner. Insurance is only that.... insurance for real major disaster events and damage. Not routine maintenance....crazy
Do you who I should I contact to report what I believe is insurance fraud by a roofing company that just replaced the roof on my 1500 SQFT home and that includes garage square footage for just over $36,000.00.
@@philtheroofergoodwin7077 exactly, the contractor spent 6 months negotiating with insurance company to get the price up to $36k. Regardless of the fact that what they claimed to have repaired was a complete lie. It seems that the insurance company doesn't care that they were robbed. Their cash quote was under $13K, Insurance covered quote $36k
@@rickknight-carr126 sorry for late response. Its common to supplement the insurance carrier for additional funds. Now if you say they got that money but didnt do some of the work then you should notify your insurance company and have them go after them.
They got at least 8 of my neighbors. Asked if he could get on my roof to inspect because all the houses in the neighborhood had hail damage from last month. I told him you see this green grass I watch the weather like a hawk no hail storm came thru here and if it did I'd be more concerned about my grass. Don't get on my roof because I'll take it the wrong way me and my wife have ptsd be aware of that. And another fact we just moved in 6 months ago had roof fully inspected by 3 people it's only 3 years old not 20 years old what your seeing is algea not hail damage.
Insurance companies continually make money off of us and never delivering on what they're supposed to. I could care less about this. Stick it to the insurance company.
This is alittle silly cause they need the roof replaced. Just replace the roof and move on. Doing insurance fraud doesn't help the homeowner... so and really hail isn't one size so you are trying to say something isn't but you can't predict the way the hail hit and the size of it.
The roofer is not duping the neighborhood. He is getting them new roofs and bringing up the value of even your house. But I understand how you’re ticked off that your neighbors aren’t going to you.
Guaranteed, he’s the roofer that made this damage so he could have content to video. Then he gets to make his virtue signaling video and try and look like a stand up company! 🤣🤣🤣
He walked into a legal snake pit with this video. Homeowner has tons of legal options here against this guy. My insurance company employee radar is blowing up
Wrong losers I live in this neighborhood and have 19yrs now experience This roofer was also making damage to fences and gutters, I eventually caught him in the act and confronted him, he’s now in prison
You must be with Allstate

Looks like hail impacts to me. Anyone else?
Why no chalking of the soft metals? That would be the real test.

100% facts. Great video
I'm sure if you zoom in far enough you would see the grooves from the side of the quarter

If no soft metal damage, no hail damage.
Did look like a defect shingle though
Don't tell us what we're supposed to be seeing while manipulating the damage.

Bro why are you whispering? I can barely hear what your saying in this video. Especially, with the wind.
This dude jealous he didn’t get any of the 8 jobs. 🤣

U never should have paid 36k for a job like that unless the insurance somehow paid that much for it?

Find collateral damage to defend hail damage
