    Yes to a soda blog/video! Diet soda is the absolute hardest thing for me to kick and the sparkling waters can’t seem to cut it for me.

    • @wintersprite
      @wintersprite 2 місяці тому

      If I’m craving soda, sparkling water most likely won’t work as it’s the taste of a specific soda I’m craving and not just the carbonation. Sometimes I’ll have sparkling water. I like the Stur water mix-ins if I need it a bit sweeter.

    Autumn, I just wanted to say I love how quickly you talk! I am exactly the same and it's nice to have so much information but in a short video. Please don't pay any attention to the negative, slow down comments and just keep being YOU! 😊

      I wouldn’t say the comments requesting her to slow down are negative. If someone has a problem following how quickly she speaks but is invested in what she has to say, how is that negative?🤷🏾‍♀️

    Oh my word, so much critical info here!!! I've got marked bone loss from years of PPI'S so I've been taking calcium and K2 supplements. I had no idea full fat yogurt had K2, and here I've been thinking the nonfat was the way to go. Mind blown too on the plant based protein powder being poorer quality protein. Such great info, thanks once again! ❤

I’m post menopausal and would like to up my protein and use plain Greek yogurt and eggs. If I understand this correctly these would be safe for me to eat? Also, is it true that sugar is more likely to raise ldl? Thanks!

    I put cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, & a splash of grass-fed heavy cream into my organic coffee. It's delicious 😋.
    Question on the eggs: Are pasture raised eggs a better option than just organic? If I had to choose between the two. I'm assuming organic pastured raised eggs are the best option, but with a family of 5, that's a little harder to swing monetarily since we all eat eggs like they're going out of style. 😉😂
    Thanks for your input. Have a great day! 😊

    OMG! what strain of probiotocs did you take for pregnancy!? I really want to know because I never heard anyone talk about that when I was pregnant and I tested positive for group B strep. It was super annoying because the doctor wanted to give me intravenous antibiotics during labor. I did NOT take the antibiotics during labor, and my daughter and I are doing completely fine. However I would be interested to know for the next pregnancy if it's at all possible to prevent it.

    Regarding protein powders, in case this encourages anyone else, pea protein actually has a solid DIAAS score of 1.0. For my family of 6, grass fed whey protein isolate simply does not fit into the food budget. We buy Orgain - I feel good about using it and my family loves it. No shade to Autumn at all! If my budget were larger I’d love to buy your product. 💛

    I don't consume bread anymore nevertheless my most favorite one is sourdough and Italian ones (focaccia and ciabatta). I don't consume pasta either, however zucchini pasta is amazing, and I am not on a low-carb or ketogenic approach to my nutrition. When it comes to dairy, doctors advised me to eliminate dairy consumption for a while, the only dairy product I consume is whey isolate protein (if it can be considered as dairy, anyway). As for dairy products, it has become the new controversial source of food. It's not just the lactose factor or the full fat vs low fat. Full fat is better, the fats in dairy are healthy fats and the protein in dairy products is better absorbed when it's full fat. People that have no issue with lactose and still get indigestion with dairy are due to the A1 casein which is most present in cow milk products, therefore you should consider consuming goat or sheep milk products. Egg whites aren't that much of a problem, still you shouldn't only consume whites; whole eggs are a bomb of nutrients compared to just whites. As for diet soda or coke either opt for unsweetened ones or consume carbonated water. Low calorie sweeteners become a problem if you use them in abundance, Autumn explained why; my favorite is stevia. The reason I've never appreciated plant-based protein powders is because of the GMO factor. I never liked either ground turkey or chicken; I'd rather have skinless boneless chicken or turkey breast any day. Thanks Autumn.

    Stevia!!!

  • @fortissimo15
    @fortissimo15 2 місяці тому

    Stevia is not really a great option for sugar. Many have sensitivities to Stevia, causing itching mouths, throats, and GI issues. The Stevia plant is in the Asteraceae/Compositae plant family, which contains ragweed, marigolds, daisies, chrysanthemums, and other plants that many are sensitive to. If you use Stevia and are experiencing the itchy mouth, throat, or gas and bloating, it could very well be the Stevia.
