- When teaching color wheel, I also teach tints and shades. This is a pretty quick worksheet that is an introduction to tints and shades. I think more importantly in this video is how to mix paint without contaminating the paint plate for the table group. My students are almost always destroying the paint on the plate. If done right the plate of paint should last all day and serve 4 blocks of students. This is a painting tutorial for my class. Hopefully, it will help or even inspire you and your class while painting. Also, I tried to paint nice and clean inside the lines so my final product is something I can be proud of.

Hey thanks for the video can I give you a constructive criticism? So your camera angle is a bit awkward and it kinda makes me feel like I'm hanging upside down. I know that sounds kind of weird but it gives me kind of a nauseous feeling .
