I can relate to Bradley having doubters. Ironically, it's those people who bring others down are the ones who end up looking up at the successes. So happy for Bradley, Gaga, and everyone who did this remake. Bravo.
The fact that he created this character all from scratch is really what blew me away about this film. All of these characters had such profound character development, and it really amazed me. I just can't wait to see him direct the Leonard Bernstein biopic! Wishing him all the luck at the Oscars....
Alexandra K. Love the movie and Bradley. But technically he didn’t really create the character from scratch (maybe how he saw the character, i guess), lol. He’s had 4 other remakes to go off from.

@@finalmasquerade the outline might have been there, but the characters certainly weren't! All past versions were arrogant, falling star musicians, spiteful towards their protegie outshining them. Where's ANY of that in Bradley's version? The characters were 100% fresh, never before seen characters

As much as I’d like him to win, I don’t think his performance was better than Rami Malek in bohemian rhapsody or Christian Bale in vice. Wouldve loved to see him get a nod for best director however they snubbed him in that category
@@srums7111 I have`t seen the Vice yet, so I can`compare with it. But I think he (B.C.) deserves the Oscar as the best director at least. Unfortunately he`s not nominated. He has although so much talent, when he was able to learn singing and playing guitar and piano. That`s why I think he`s performance was as good in ASIB as Rami`s in BR.
Rob scharf I haven’t seen those other performances so I can’t compare. I just think the load he took on (learning to sing, play guitar, write songs, act, produce, screenwriting, AND directing) deserves to be rewarded. It’s a crying shame he didn’t get a director nomination.
