Very nice review FE I like the switch next to the clicky, I wished it would have been included on the L17, L19 and L35 which I already own. A very exciting lineup from Acebeam these days. I was hoping they would use special optics in some of there more powerful lights. Nice to see you using other lights for comparison’s 👍
Thank you! I am so pleased with this new solution already seen in e.g. Nitecore for a long time now. Double tail switch works great especially in self-defense and tactical applications, but is also way more convenient to use than separate side switch for changing modes
@@FlashlightEnthusiast Hello Sir, just received mine, i want to ask, is it normal after 30 sec or so the flashlight start to blinking 3 times? No matter which mode i use tactical or daily. Thank you
@@FlashlightEnthusiast Just contacted their customers service, it's defected product and they will send the replacement today. I made a video that this is not the battery since i charged included battery first before i use it. I also tried my own 18650 battery, still happening. It is so sad, I've waited 34 days till it arrived and got the defected one.
I bought this light, after a couple months I have started having issues with the tail switch. I have it set to low/turbo mode, and often when I hit the button for turbo, it strobes a few times before staying constant on. Also, it has seemingly set itself back to the 'tactical' strobe mode and I've had to reset it a couple of times. I like the design, brightness, candela and size, but there seems to be some bugs left to work out within the tail switch.
@@FlashlightEnthusiast I talked to another guy who hasn't had any issues either. Maybe it's just a bad switch on mine, or maybe since I carry and use mine every day the issue is more prevalent. Either way, I bought it to use as a dedicated tac light and the inconsistency hasn't been very confidence inspiring.
Thank you for another excellent review. Could you tell me if a Samsung 30q is used will low battery be indicated or is this feature in the Acebeam battery and not the flashlight. Thank you.
Very sweet light but I don't understand why all the other P series lights have moon mode but why dint they go with that in the P16?? If this light had an ultra low it would have been damn near perfect !! WHY ACEBEAM???
I love everything about this light except would prefer more usable spill. The TN12 Pro is comparable but the ultra sensitive side switch is a deal breaker for me. Do you have any lights that you could recommend that similar to the p16 in throw but with more usable spill?
c'est exactement la même chose que la sofirn if22a , le même style de faisceau , environ la même portée , et la même perle sft40 . elle à l'air bien cette acebeam , avez vous un code promo par hasard ? merci .
I love the light too. It's an awesome tactical light. The only downside from a practical standpoint is the lack of charging on the light itself. I would love to see a 21700 version of this light as well.
I dont know why they didnt used an Osram LED. In general they have a much cleaner light without any tint and are very good throwers also. Actually I dont know why Luminus is so widely in use.
I understand this dude wanted to impress Acebeam with his as positive as possible review, but his keeping saying the light is so compact sounds really funny considering it’s a 18650 flashlight. It’s HUGE and BULKY for a 18650 form factor.
acebeam est à court d'idées je trouve , ils n'ont pas su ce réinventer avec cette p16 , je m'attendais à bien mieux que ça avec cette p16 , vraiment dommage :(
The music's got to go the video is great but you got the wrong music it makes you want to just turn it off the sound of that voice is cringing me it just ruins the video seriously ruins the video just to give you a heads up 👍
They shouldnt say usb type c charging if you have to remove the battery to do so... stop being lazy Acebeam and allow us to charge from the flashlight body!
Thanks for the comment. I beg to differ, as it is in fact USB C rechargable and it is clearly displayed on the website. I personally like such solution, as you don't have any week points on the flashlight body (like USB ports with rubber covers for the water to penetrate). This makes more robust construction, more resistant to water
@@FlashlightEnthusiast yes it does. Water ingress in deep waters/ water pressure will make the difference between that light working or malfunctioning. Even at 20 feet. There can be no exterior areas outside the body of the light. Totally agree that this flashlight is better designed for water.

As always very comprehensive review. 👌
Thank you Mateusz 😃
I bought one. Great light in a compact size! ✌️
Can't wait to see my P16! Really great compact tactical flashlight, thanks for sharing 🔦
Appreciate your comment, hope it arrives soon ;)

This is a signal of low battery voltage. Try to charge the battery and clean all the contacts first.

I am truly sorry to hear that... Hope the next one will be perfectly fine

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am sorry to hear that, mine works just fine. Maybe you had less luck when it comes to malfunction of P16

I love my p16
The inner ring/pipe can be removed. It may have been installed incorrectly at the factory.
It might have been the case, thanks for pointing that out

What's the colour temp of this light? Looks like 5000k?
It's cool white 6500K SFT40 emitter

Not any reviews on p17 or p18,
are they too new?
Yes, they only became available. I already have them in the process of review. Stay tuned 😉
