I wish you would’ve gotten the SFT-25R
I thought about this one too, but opted for a more exotic choice. I wouldn't expect much difference though, as these optics are more for general purpose rather than throw
3:51 Sorry I cannot understand your recommendation here. Can you please clarify?
I would recommend using a high drain battery like Samsung 30Q instead of included one
@@FlashlightEnthusiast thanks!
Moim zdaniem jedyne sensowne pomiary w amatorskich warunkach to pomiary mocy zasilania i natężenia światła w czasie.
@@FlashlightEnthusiast wygląda to sensownie, jeśli chodzi o metodę, to policzmy elektrycznie.
5000 lumens is a lie. 800 lumens on average is a real number. 8LED x 1W = 800 lumens. (efficiency of most cheap LEDs is around 100 lumes/W ) Battery capacity is 36Wh so 36Wh/8W = 4.5h Ps. this looks like newboler ripoff. I have this light and it has NEWBOLER name on it.
There is not a good cut-off beam with this type of reflector and lens. With a real cut-off lens bikelight there is a visible horizontal cut-off line if you point it to a wall. I use a Rockbros RHL3000 bikelight, it is very bright, it has a real cut-off beam so i don't blind oncoming traffic, and it also has a high beam ua-cam.com/video/WoWG9Ckoqyk/v-deo.html
It’s like a Temu version of my Acebeam P18 with only one SFT-40
How is the cri ?
Yeah, that’s certainly not an upgrade considering that the SC21 has a constant current driver.
i cant help but to laugh watching this flashlight tip over. yeah wurkkos im not purchasing a flash light that could have its own spot at the laugh in. i wouldnt hold this flash light too high up in the rankings!! hahahahahahahahahaha still cracking up.... thank you for this and all of your reviews, very informative and quite knowledgeable in my opinion. take care.
Light seems great, but I've gotten used to TIR optics beams. It's hard to use a reflector light anymore. TIR kind of gives you both, a nice spill to walk with and a nice throwy hotspot.
An incredibly thorough and informative review, bravo!
I got a E07X (FFL351) and E04 (SFT-40) Surge today and both stepdown from turbo after 10-15 seconds with the thermal limit set to 60°C. Am I missing something? How do you get so much more runtime on Turbo? Is the XP-L HI really that much colder?
Hot similar issue from another user the other day. There might be a few reasons: 1. Your configuration of first setting meaning current temperature is not correct as you might have calibrated the light before it was cool enough 2. Efficiency of your LEDs are way lower compared to cool white xp-l hi 3. There are some thermal issues of your samples resulting in heat staying inside the flashlight and not going to metal cooling fins outside. Does your flashlight get hot after these 10-15 seconds? 60 degrees Celsius should be unbearable to your naked skin
@FlashlightEnthusiast in fact I got two lights E07X and E04 and they behave the same. Turbo only lasts a few seconds on a fresh battery. The host definitely can't take up the heat fast enough. If the voltage of the battery drops, it can sustain turbo longer. If it was only on one light I would think the driver/host connection is bad. But I guess that's just how these lights work. Btw FFL351 and SFT-40 LEDd are used.
I don't believe you explained the one thing I came here to find! I want to see exactly how to CONFIGURE simple UI. For this I need to do 10H to get to advanced, then 10H again to actually configure simple mode. But I'm not understanding the exact 'flash' codes when in the 'configure simple UI' mode.
Hello. Thanks for introducing the lamp. I want to buy a MK38 XHP 70.2 5000K. But I have concerns because there are reports of problems: 1. Turbo mode inconsistency - Users report that Turbo mode (maximum brightness) is not always reliably activated. Instead, the lamp sometimes switches to a lower brightness level or stays in the last mode used. - A double click that is supposed to activate Turbo mode occasionally causes the lamp to simply turn off and on again or switch to the wrong level. This seems to be a software-related problem. 2. Operational problems - The double click function is sensitive: if the button is pressed slightly sideways, it can malfunction. 3. Performance fluctuations - It has been observed that the measured maximum brightness (lumens) can vary from day to day without any clear reason for this. - The version with 70.2 LEDs seems to be more susceptible to such fluctuations due to the higher power consumption and heat generation. Have you noticed such phenomena with your lamp? That's actually what's holding me back from buying it. Regards Stefan
Hello Stefan, thank you for reaching out. I did observe Turbo malfunction when the battery was partially depleted and it indeed went to lower brightness after double click, which was weird. However I noticed it long after making the original review. I did not observe other issues you mentioned. Regards, Michael
@@FlashlightEnthusiast Hello Michael, thanks for your answer. Did you have the problem several times or just once? Regards Stefan
I would like to buy this lamp too, so I'm very curious. Regards Stefan
i have been using rovyvon for years good company
I'm glad I chose the wizard over a zebra light, because I actually love that magnetic charger, and although the zebra is lighter there's no way it can take the abuse of an Armytek, the lens would shatter. I've been so happy with the wizard C2 Pro 4500 k, the beam diffusion is top notch and it's like you're looking at things in HD sometimes, there are certain nights though but I think 3,000 k would suit my eyes better if you know what I mean brother, excellent videos. I'm kind of bummed out I didn't get the bicycle mount. The water-resistant sure is amazing and it's unbelievable threatening that tail cap have never felt threads that fine-tuned, and they are square cut and lubed, dropped it clumsy like three times out of the concrete so far it's rated for 30 ft it's just amazing, you know what I really want to get not to replace my army tech but just have an extra piece of kit, the sofirn hs21. My only regret I can think of with armytek is that I waited like 10 years to buy it, for being smartphones these things sure are pretty retarded you think it would know I'm trying to say armytek by now, oh wow it actually got it right that time
HI can you recommend a good floody flashlight?
Yes, what would it be used for? General EDC, outdoor walks, headlamp? Can you give me some prompts ?
@FlashlightEnthusiast i want if possible an EDC sized flashlight(but I can consider a bit larger flashlight if its better) that can cover decent big area outdoor maybe around 1/3 tennis court size
@@xScream you could get an armytek headlamp the dispersal in of the light is great. Or a sofirn hs21 would have the option of throw or higher cri flood and red and a cool bezel you can twist with mittens, the wurkoss hd15 is descent, there's a UA-cam short of the armytek max headlamp lighting up an area by a car and some electrical stuff, really shows it's power, here it is ua-cam.com/users/shortseL2Czm8Nu8k?si=nBMnvdb4iOsg2xZC Personally I like the 18650 ones I jog with it. Also the nitecore hc65 seems like a beast, never owned a nitecore but i want one
I have the Rovyvon E30 Pro. It is very similar to the E90 Pro. The E90 has a screw pocket clip and a deeper bezel. They are priced the same. Thanks for the review...
I like this style but not enough to buy any (from any producer). I want a swivel head, bidirectional clip and a magnet part. All of them are expansive and at this point im picky with what ill buy. Because i bought all what i dreamed for. Nice review!
hell yeah thanks for sharing
All copying Olight...which is still the best light of this type. Does this light have a lifetime guarantee? 😮
Best pocket jewelry sure. There are much better EDC lights if you are wanting a light and not a UV/laser as well. If you are wanting all three go with the wurkkos HD01 pro for a third of the price. Their customer service is easier to deal with than olight’s anyways.
Thanks for all of the great reviews you do!
Rovyvon is a great company for EDC, got the Aurora A26 and the Angel Eyes E80 (marble), love them :-) I like your reviews also ;-)
This is a damn good flashlight! I have it in sand color. Love the body design because it allows a comfortable grip and how it uses the special optics with the sbt 90.
1-2 inches longer reflector and they would hit it out of the park with this one. X75-GT needed!
background music too loud, mic sounds distant or in an empty room. thanks for upload about the flashlight tho
I have a Wurkkos HD10 with Andúril 2. Bought it from Aliexpress. I think it may be a defective unit because, no matter what I do, the blue light stays on (at a very low level), even if the torch supposed to be off...
HI I purchased the TS22 XHP70.3 Version - I found a review online that says, it's lower Lumen and worse constant output than the XHP70.2. Do you know anything about this? Does XHP70.3 hold the same brightness as the XHP70.2? Cheers
Contemplating about why I would get the X1L when the X1S basically has the same output and throw figures. 🤔
High mode only lasts for 5 minutes, No
i think Level as You have it /= Very Low i Believe is Actually 0.05 Lm =1/2 Lumen, 🙂
Can you semi press to get turbo mode when you are in high mode?
That is not possible in any UI group
it's not t he stress on the springs that kills them, it's compression and expansion. Like like a gun magazine spring, you can keep it compressed for years and years and no issues. But if you keep loading and unloading the magazine, the spring dies much faster. Inform yourself first.
Thanks for the informed comment. Would you agree that flashlihts with built-in charging port that eliminates the need to remove batteries would be beneficial for springs life cycle than?
@@FlashlightEnthusiastit’s a 50/50. Springs can be replaced much easier than a USB C port can. Both eventually wear out, just depends what you prefer.
I got the Sofirn Q8 Plus on the way, it just seems a better Choice than this Haikelite. That's just my opinion, Haikelite is a good brand to 😎
Great choice, I still keep on using my Q8 Pro for general purpose applications. Highly underestimated flashlight with solid build and high capacity battery inside
@@Next96300 i heard that some P45B users had burned their led-s in the Q8 Plus so i will pass them, doesn't worth the risk for a few seconds of more brightness. I use the P45B-s in my Convoy 3X21D and Noctigon K1, Top Quality Cells
Hk05 have much beyyer throw yhan q8plus
@Lukas96 90% of my Flashlight Collection are throwers (Sft40, Osram, Sbt90.2) i want a Flooder not a Throw-Flooder. Q8 Plus lasts more on turbo and the modes are better regulated. And it has Andruil 2 So i think it's a much better choice... In my opinion that is..
I just received my Q8 Plus, no regrets, impressive!!
I got a SFN60 but in 3000K the colors so nice, i love it for walks, the warm egg light is do nice
😊
very nice wide beam
Seriously what kind of a genius psychopath invented this shit. Everything with one button its crazy
A genius woman from the flashlight forum 😜
60 to 70 dollars isnt bad i would like to see it maybe a little bit cheaper then that but still good price for what you get so yeah thanks for sharing
MAN BEAUTIFUL LIGHT I REALLY LIKE IT THANKS FOR SHARING
Glad you like it and thanks for the warm comment Jimmy 😎
Mom: “We have Anduril at home.”
Don’t need it
@@FalseHoodx I'll take anduril for 7 different brightness levels plus turbo.
acebeam vende baterias
The battery setup lenght is very annoing and problematic. nope.
How so and why?
Thanks for the video. You spelled the title wrong, sorry :) Triple is how it should be spelled. No offence intended. I bought one of those two. I love the knurling. It reminds me of a gun barrel. I didn't care about the RGB to be honest. I wish Acebeam hadn't bothered.
Thank you, the title is now corrected. Highly appreciated 👍
I purchased this one knowing it was FET + PWM, so no surprises about the driver performance at least on Turbo. But I don't use Turbo for more than 10 seconds, so the driver's performance on it really isn't much of a matter. The lower modes are very sustainable. Since I got it out of the box about 1 month ago, I've been keeping it mostly on Medium mode (daily but sporadically) and the battery still hasn't dropped below 70%. For a high CRI light of such small size and portability, I couldn't ask for more.
Thank you for sharing your perspective, I believe for the majority of applications this flashlight is a great choice. Let it serve you well!
I want to say is that XTAR's battery is not worth the price. The reason why batteries from other flashlight brands are so expensive is that they come with a six-month to one-year warranty. If you encounter any problems during the warranty period, you can replace them directly. Taking in China as an example, I have experienced the after-sales service of Acebeam, and the battery warranty is also clear and unambiguous; However, Xtar only provides a 15 day basic warranty. In terms of single price, the Acebeam's 5000mah 21700 is 129 CNY, the Xtar is 88 CNY, and the new Samsung 50s Gen2 is 29 CNY. There are many brands that are not well-known in the retail market but can still be purchased, such as Febbattery、bakpower、ampacetech. Brands like EVE and SunPower have even opened official retail channels. These brands' products have many advantages in both price and performance, even surpassing Samsung and LG's
Do you actually use the flashlight with 70° thermal config or is this just for testing?
No, I use them in that setting, being careful not to heat them up that much. I don't like stepdown that happens too soon
Some of the best video reviews on UA-cam 😁
Highly appreciated, thank you 😎
Witam. Uważam, że Acebeam W35 ma sens. Jutro mam go dostać, więc dopiero po jakimś czasie będę mógł podzielić się wrażeniami. A pełną ocenę przydatności będę mógł ocenić dopiero podczas następnego sezonu żeglarskiego. Pozdrawiam
Pozdrawiam.
so does the w3 plus have diffuser options like the w3 pro tac?
Yes, it is an optional accessory
