Should there be some wiggle room in the horizontal pan of the head once installed? I recently purchased one and noticed there is some wiggle to it, even after tightening to 55 in/lbs.
you know they made those ARCA rails wider than piccatinny rails so you have to buy their ARCA products. why couldn't an ARCA rail be the same width as the piccatinny rail ?
@@MDTTAC truly there is nothing special about this ARCA rail so why not make it the same width as the Pic. rail and call it the AACA ; "A"lmost ARCA rail.
@@MDTTAC This I don't understand ? Most shooters use this ARCA rail for bipods and I think some for lights which both would fit on a pic rail. What could someone put on there now that would require everyone to buy a new clamp. If it's a camera then buy a special clamp just for the camera which would be what one out a million wanting the ARCA rail for cameras ?
A closeup of the set screws being removed would be nice. Didn’t realize there was a second set screw behind the first.
Thanks for your comment. I was trying with all my might to pull the head off not knowing there’s 2 screws in there.
@@richardmagpantay888 Ha, I'd forgotten and had to search here again only to find my comment from 2 years ago.(wife's account). Glad it helped you.
Can I put an Area419 ARCALOCK head on it?

Yes, a little movement is normal and to be expected
Would this allow the installation of a picatinny head on a double pull Ckye-pod?
Yes, if you have a Picatinny head you could swap it for sure!
How long until you get some more BTC heads in? I have a fierce neeeeeeeed lol
Get your order placed, they are going quickly!
@@MDTTAC it’s still showing them in back order 😭😭😭

ARCA is a camera industry standard where they use a 1.5" dovetail, but our new BTC clamp works on both ARCA and Picatinny.

@@DLN-ix6vf Because if change the width on it then other ARCA clamps wouldn't fit on it.

@@DLN-ix6vf Correct, that's why we released the BTC clamp which works on both.
