Really enjoy the softness of the 1080v13 - these are certainly More of that. Wish I'd had waited for these as more of the Fresh Foam can only be better :P
I really liked the More v3 but I thought the v4 lost something. This does look like an upgrade from the v4. I'm 135 lbs. though, so I'm currently getting all the cushion I need from the Adizero SL2, with less weight and bulk.
Agreed. V3 was great! Ordered a V5 and only had a chance to wear in the house and seems closer to v3 than v4. Very soft but bouncy and great rocker roll.
Looking forward to this. Should receive my pair early next week. I have the v4 which I only use for recovery runs in the 3~5 mile range and I like it but don't love it. It's just a little too clunky; it sinks with no rebound at all. It feels like running on wet sand, which can still be pleasant, of course, but a little more bounce like on the 1080v13 would be very nice. I'm also counting on this shoe for the annual trade show I have to attend this winter in which I have to stand around an exhibit booth for 4 full days. I tell ya; standing around for hours on end is much harder on my feet than walking or even running 20 miles!
Tried the 1080 v13 Loved them but want something slightly more stable for recovery shoes, Will these fit the bill? Love max cushion for slow long runs, I train in Superblast 2’s and race in Metaspeed Edge Paris atm.
These should provide adequate stability as long as you don’t over pronate/supinate extremely. As far as other options, the Brooks Ghost Max is also one of my favorite neutral max cushioned shoes that feel pretty stable. Looks like you have a great rotation!
Thanks for the support! If you’re looking at other max cushioned shoes, I would recommend the original Brooks Ghost Max for a wide foot! I would recommend to try them on if you can before buying. Most daily trainers from brands also come in a Wide version so I would look to try those on in store as well.
These could work but it all comes down to preference! I think the stack height on these would be a little too high for me personally for just standing all day even though the cushion isn’t unstable for standing/walking. My personal preference for a walking shoe/standing all day shoe would be something lower stack like a traditional daily trainer: brooks ghost, nike pegasus, etc. Feels closer to a normal everyday shoe but more comfortable. Hope this helps!
i always go a half size up in running shoes (size 12) so that’s my “true” size haha I got a size 12 in both the peg 41 and more v5 and they’ve been working wonderfully for me!
If you loved the v4, a shoe that bottoms out easily and the foam is dead. Zero bounce, zero energy return... We can gess that this review it's just too much hype!
@@jasonjogsv4 is not a dead show. And it's not bottoming out even I m a heavy runner of 95 kg. Not great bounce. But you can't say it's dead. It's good long run easy day and one of the most comfortable and stable shoe.
@@AS-rj5qt kayano 31 is great shoe. I m using kayano 30, nimbus 26, magnify nitro 2. All great shoes. Go for kayano 30. If there is discount. Because midsole is technically same in 31. And Brooks ghost max is also a wonderful and stable option. These 4 are my max cushion options right now and they all are stable shoe.
@jt.8144 That's not how shoes work. Light runners use max cushion shoes all the time for recovery miles. And heavier runners tend to prefer shoes without compliant foam - e.g. Brooks Beast. You learn something new everyday. 🤣
Bought the v4 in late May 2024 for just RM306. I enjoy buying cheap shoes that were previously expensive at their EOL 😂

You are one year later, happy to see you finally got illuminated, buy as much as you can, NOW. 100% financial advice. 🦝
How is more v 5 compared to the 1080v13?
The one shoe I wish I never bought was the 1080 v13s
can’t comment on this as i’ve only tried the 1080v13s on in store, sorry!
Same but higher
@hum-dinger2453 hahaha I love how people either love or hate this shoe and no in between

More V4s are still great!! Hope you enjoy them.

I really appreciate the kind words, thanks for supporting!
Great video!
Thank you!
Does anyone know if these will be available in wide sizes? I’m assuming they will be.
Yes, they are available in wide sizes.
@@l.w.jr.2341 nice. Thanks for the reply. Can’t wait for these
Is it true to size? Or i should a half size up whereas my Peg 40 men size 7 and forefoot size 4 inch
true to size if you like a comfortable snug fit and half a size up if you like more space in your shoes
Are these out already?
Yes, they are available right now.
Everywhere but New balance
@@hum-dinger2453 why is that?
How's the breathability? In texas , i usally cant run long in super padded and cushioned shoes
this shoe may not be the best for the heat/humidity imo!
Do you think this is a good shoe for those who are on feet all day at work?

What the fit ???
Did you have to go up a half size in this shoe? Tried a Pegasus 41 on and had to size up in it.

Good Stuff
These were too mushy and clunky for me wasn’t a huge fan

WRONG
THUMB DOWN. if you're under 200 lbs.. YOU DON'T NEED THIS SHOE.
As you age you'll appreciate it if you used cushioned shoes when you were younger
