I remember attending a jazz performance with my brother when we were kids. It was at a local jazz club, and there were only a few people in the audience. But the energy was incredible, especially when the drummer played a solo. I was mesmerized by the rhythm. After the show, my brother introduced me to the drummer. To my surprise, he let me try out the drumsticks. I wasn’t great, but he encouraged me to keep practicing. From that moment on, I developed a deep love for jazz. Over the years, my brother and I went to many jazz concerts together, and I even started drumming in a jazz band. Jazz has brought so much rhythm and connection to my life, and I will always treasure those nights with my brother.
