You are definitely not the only one :) I was so happy to find this sound... it just makes me so relaxed and reminds me of my childhood room with skylight.
This ambience and music mocks my problems like they are nothing and I happen to find myself in little to no worry when it plays. We deserve more peace don't we ? And that's why these sounds are here. I'm grateful.
My boyfriend recommended this video to me a couple days ago because I have really bad nightmares and it's hard for me to fall asleep. After I listen to it within the first 20 minutes I'm fast asleep now.

Oh the muffled rain round falling on a rooftop/windows is absolutely gorgeous!
Right? I love it so much! When I was a kid I had a room with a skylight and the rain sounded just like this falling on it.
This rain sound effect is unmatched. I've been looking for a video that duplicates what I hear IRL instead of the more common white noise that counts as "rain" in most videos and I'm SO GLAD to have finally found it! I'm definitely saving this.

I live near-ish to a former estate, now a public garden...and they have a conservatory. They don't have seating like this, it would quickly mildew, lol. But many benches where a book and an hour or two would be a real luxury amongst the gorgeous plants, glass, the murmur of guests just beyon the blooming fuscias and green palm trees...

This rain sound is like no other, and the music accompanying it is amazing and soothing. I am a writer working on a fictional universe that follows many different philosophies and genre's. Not here to self promote, but rather to say this is very calming and lovely to write too, I love using music to envision environments and settings. This screams for curiosity and study while also maintaining rest and Zen. I can safely say for sure that this ambience is appreciated by many, including me.

I am in that conservatory right now. It has just started to rain here.
This makes me miss our old house, which had skylights in several rooms. I used to love sitting or lying on the floor when it rained and listening to the sound. The new house is better for old knees, but it is so quiet I often don't realize it has rained until I look outside and see the yard is wet.
If I had an unlimited budget, I'd probably build much the same.
I grew up in a house with skylights, so I understand... It's just such a comforting sound...
