Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I believe I feel similarly about polishing & waxing my pieces.
This method is awesome and saves quite a bit of time... And, is even a tad more enjoyable than traditional polish and wax.
Very much appreciated your tip. 💜

Hey thanks so much for this wish I would have done this first!!! Used some old glass polish on some pieces now I got a big problem!!! It’s been over a week now and it’s dried on in places like glue can’t even scrap off with tooth pick!!! Calling on any and all advice help what can I do to save my pieces?

Oh no! I have a couple of ideas.
If ya forgot about it for a week and it dried on the whole piece all crusty, then in small test spots on the back:
I'd put a cloth with warm water for a bit and see if it remoisturizes it.
Or, put a bit of polish on again, let it there for a few minutes and see if it gets the undercoating uncrusty.
If all else fails, you can use 0000 brass wool. It will dull the solder a bit cuz it puts some micro-scratches in it, but if you plan to patina, you won't notice that.
If it's just some crusty leftover spots in the corners on the glass, then you can scrape it off with an X-acto knife.
      Lemme know how it goes!

This process is done before the patina or after? Do I do this polish on my zinc edging as well? Thanks! Great video.

Thank you!!🥰Only do the One Step Wax & Polish if you're not doing patina. Different polishes can remove it. If you're going to do patina, after soldering, use a product like Kwik Clean instead of washing it, do the patina, then wash & just use Pure Carnauba Wax. Here's a video on how I do patina😀 ua-cam.com/video/FBeQwoR7rTQ/v-deo.html

This is for if you don’t patina the solder correct? I have just used it when I don’t use patina. ( without the calcium carbonate.) I brush it off and it shines and protects the solder from oxidizing.

Yup! I only use this mix on plain silver solder lines. The calcium carbonate portion of the mix acts as a polish so you wouldn't want to use it on patina as it would risk removing some of it. If you're doing patina, then you only use the Carnauba to keep the solder from oxidizing.😀
