That is SO kind of you and I won't bore you with details, ok maybe a bit, but early on I had some issues with how my channel was configued so they put me in a high spam threshold and removed a LOT of subs. I should be about 35k but they took them and that's just...sigh...how the cookie crumbles. So I forge on. I figure by the time I get many more subs, I'll just be able to pretend that never happened.

I think the box you received was very nice, I do wonder if the boxes are different. I don’t like to buy “mystery boxes”, I have been burned by them in the past. $150 is a lot of money to spend on something I might not be happy with.

I received my regular size lucky bag today. It does feel like they were clearing their warehouse. I received Wayngoss blush, Danessa Myrrick eye palette which I would have never ordered myself. I am not ordering it next year
Yall, I know yall don't know me from Adam, but that is what lucky bags are for. It's for retailers to get rid of excess stock and you can buy from a store that you love and get a fantastic deal.
Hello Rebecca, I have to say that I believe that they are clearing out their wear house and that’s why they do these boxes. This is my second year & I wish things were as good as they use to be. I been watching people unboxing 2014. And in those years the item were way better. Not saying nothing bad. Cause I love ordering off of Beautylish. I just wish that the bags were more lucky and better items. And my box came out to $183.31. $150 for the box $20 dollars shipping and $13.31 in taxes. Last year or the year before it was $15 dollars shipping and now it’s $20. Sorry I don’t mean to go off cause I don’t know what I got yet. Just venting. But so far what I’m seeing is not knocking my socks off just saying. Thanks Rebecca for sharing what you received in your XL Lucky bag by Beautylish. Till the next one. 🥰🙏
NO need to apologize. You KNOW I love this dialog. As I say and I know it's corny, but THIS is what makes us a community!!! I DO indeed hear you. I think, as a retailer, that LURE, that...DESIRE to make this serve to clear out warehouse shelves is very real. I know Charlotte Tilbury does that with her mystery boxes which I why I can't even bring myself to pick one up. I feel like last year, and the year before, it was MORE of a warehouse clean out from Beautylish but...frankly....maybe this year a bit too?

I think you got a pretty good box too. I wasn't thrilled with my XL last year, but have always liked my regular ones, so I got a regular again. It arrives today.
I’ll be curious if it’s a good one. I really hope that it is and I feel like it will be. Last year I was super disappointed as well and I almost didn’t order this year but now I’m glad that I did.

Being in the U.K. we are unable to buy the XL Lucky Bag which used to annoy me 😩However, after watching a few unboxings over the years I’ve come to realise that ‘the big value items’ (eyeshadow palettes & Sonia G/Wayne Goss brushes) would more than likely be repeats for me too 😬😊💕

Picking my jaw off the floor. That’s the most perfect xl I’ve ever witnessed!! Susanne Kaufmann is as good as it gets. I could absolutely carry on for too long, but think Austrian forest mountain ingredients meets cutting edge science, effective, sustainable. The body butter is a true treat. Then the u beauty lip compound, then Sonia G. GET OUT OF HERE! I’d say pigs are swimming along beautifully in dragon year! ❤️

Great box. Nice products and a nice variety. Missed the box this year. I find it’s a great way to try products I decide not to buy and it gives me the opportunity to share some things with friends if they don’t work for me.

I think one has to go into Lucky Bags with an open mind to the mix of new brands, new products, and some duplicates. I haven't bought one for years but do believe the XL bags are the better value. Love your positive attitude towards what you received and it doesn't look like items were being cleared out.
Tracey! Yes. I absolutely agree. Sometimes it feels like that if you get a bad bag and I admit that mine last year was not the best. But I feel really positive about this year‘s bag. I’m absolutely thrilled to have such a lovely giveaways and I think the experience was really fun this year.
I would love to get this box. I love the Susanne Kaufmann Body Butter. It is really good. I love the smell of it and my skin feels so soft after using it. ☝🏼☝🏼 it is in my XL box.

I agree. A lot of times those subscription boxes end up being so much clutter. That’s why I have not really looked into them but I’ll need to do that. I appreciate the suggestion

That is a great XL bag.I got the regular one. It feel lucky with it. The only thing was I got 2 retinols, now I think beautylish is tell me I need some help 😂 I’m only joking I will get use out of both of them.
Oh that’s hilarious. I would have totally made the same joke. That being said, two is handy because retinol get used up quickly in my house.

I stopped getting these years ago because they were always a disappointment. I always got things I could not use, bad colors, etc. Your box is a very nice mix of products! Enjoy!! 😊
I did well this year and it’s been a few years. I was almost ready to give up
I skipped the Lucky Bag this year. After receiving the ABH Riviera palette (a color story that was WAY outside my comfort zone) twice I was becoming disenchanted with the box. I donated them along with other suitable items to Project Beauty Share, so hopefully they didn’t go to waste. Early on I received an entire set of the Wayne Goss eye brushes and other great brushes and products that I loved so much I have purchased them and continue to repurchase them, but lately I do feel like it is a way for them to get rid of some inventory that doesn’t move. If I had received your box contents or similar last year, I might have participated again this year but as it stands I am okay having skipped it.
As of last year I really felt like I was gonna start skipping it but I feel a bit more enthusiastic now as I think it was a better box this year than last

I feel this might be a back of the cupboard clearout with a few treats thrown in - sonia G brush being one. I'm sure they've calculated it carefully to ensure it's good value plus clears some sale stock. Personally I have to be so fussy with my skin care I couldn't take a chance on the random selection.
Agreed. I am so careful with skincare and, every now and then, I see a UA-camr with a terrible rash that reminds me why I am so careful with new skin care. So I totally agree with you. I also think you’re onto something. They try to do a little bit of value and then throw in a little bit of clean the warehouse.

My mom gave me the Suzanne Kaufman body butter and shower cream for Christmas and I LOVE 💗 both products!!! The body cream feels like a smoothie and is so hydrating and my dry skin loves it!

I understand the body butter is very nice. I’ve never tried it. My go to is La Roche Posay, Lipikar Triple Moisture Cream. I’ve never ordered a Lucky Bag. I am not a fan of surprise beauty products. I always feel like most of what I’d get would be things I wouldn’t use or I already have. But, I love seeing what others receive. It’s nice to see you’re ok with receiving things you already have. Every year i say im gonna get one of these then forget till i see one of these videos well i remembered but it was to late and all of them were gone expect some dumb J ⭐ one which u could pay me to get and wayne goss one buy i wanted the XL . I did see one with 2 viseart cheek eye pallets a SG brush , the DM new big pallet, ghost oil a slip scunci a GM product and a Holy frog, kinda sounds like the smaller box . I dont really have much u can buy from Beautylish i just havent ordered from them yet so i kinda wanted the lucky bag cause i dont think i would really have duplicates unless ND poped up in it . I think u got a pretty good box. Didnt they use to put brush sets in the big box ? SG is great but they could have added a few more 🤣
I feel like, if I weren’t a content creator, I would not have had most of these things so I think the XL box was pretty good this year

I had my fingers crossed for you… and I think this was a pretty good box! A Sonia G brush, Viseart quad, Wayne Goss blush, and DM Groundworks palette!!! Not bad at all! The body butter sounds promising, too!

Suzanne Kaufman has excellent products I have heard. I use Dr. Dennis Gross, Bilogique Recherche and CosRx mostly.
Oh someone else got the Light Works V palette, I didn’t know they were also adding Groundworks! This is a great box!

I forgot that I really like the good molecules SPF. I have that use it quite often. I think I did get a really good box actually. I agree
I got mine today and am pretty disappointed with it. I would have been thrilled with either of the Danessa Myrics palettes others got, or a Sonia G brush. I ended up with:
Herbivore Milky Way serum, Good Molecules HA serum, Natasha Denona My Dream palette (already got it), Wayne Goss lipgloss (already got it and don't like the smell), Surratt Blush Duo and a face brush set from Units (never heard of the brand)

This was my first lucky bag and I think I did ok, too. I got the Danessa Myricks colorful palette - which I will never use but would be thrilling to someone else. I also got one of the Viseart eye and cheek palettes, which is new to me. The best item was the Sonia G builder pro! It’s a crap shoot…so I’m happy with what I got! Here’s hoping that 20K is around the corner! XO

Hi! I’m brand new to your channel. I just subscribed. I think this is a decent bag. I like your palettes you received. I would have preferred to not have as much skin care and hair care. I don’t mind maybe two of them but I want makeup lol. I’m in Canada and this was my first year ordering the lucky bags. We didn’t have the option for the XL bag. It was only the regular lucky bag or the JS one or the WG one. So I can’t wait for it to get here eeekkk. I got tracking a few days ago but it hasn’t moved at all. To be honest with you, I guess I’m kind of destined to have most of the really big items since I’m reviewing basically most of the brands that they carry. So I think I end up inevitably getting giveaway items but at least they’re lovely giveaway items.

What color UBeauty did you get? I just got one and have been trying to use it daily as it's supposed to keep your lips in good condition. I had ordered a total of 4 and ended up returning 3 which I didn't open. It has a FUNKY taste! I wish I had kept a diff color though. I had already opened the Fawn

She kept saying it has a TERRIBLE taste! I got the clear. I'm scared to use it now. I'm a bit sad the XL bags aren't offered to Canadians. I am a beauty fanatic and I think I would be a bit disappointed with the stuff since I own most of the major palettes/brushes. However, i do think this is excellent for someone who doesn't have a massive makeup collection. My two sisters who wear makeup, but aren't huge enthusiasts would not spend that much $ on a mystery box. So my conclusion is this would make an excellent gift! lol or to purchase it for myself then gift out my dupes.

What is winter like in Los Angeles? I’ve been to California (LA, San Diego, Coronado Island, San Francisco, Oakland and Merced, Brea, Irvine, and a few other cities) but have never been in the winter, so when you pulled out the body butter and mentioned winter in LA, my curiosity was piqued.
I am on the East Coast, so my box should arrive Thursday. I always get the $75 box in Deep and I’ve seen a few other boxes and they seem ok. I’ve been getting them for many years, hoping the DM Groundwork palette is included in my Lucky bag! I think because I do have a lot of makeup, some of these items I may have but will
make great gifts for nieces and girlfriends. I think you received a good box!!!

We don’t really have seasons so winter in Los Angeles is just a bit cooler than summer in Los Angeles to be honest. Summer and fall are hot. Winter is cooler, maybe low 60s at its coldest and spring can be a bit rainy and in the 60s but if it’s in the 50s here everybody has scarves and gloves on and makes BRRR noises. we have no idea what seasons are.

I am extremely disappointed in my box. I ordered the XL box and I get lip gloss and a sleep mask? For real this is the most disappointing mystery box I have ever gotten. I have wished I could buy a lucky bag box for a couple of years and always been too broke to buy one and this year I was finally able and I just want to cry I'm so disappointed. I also have no use for hair thicking cream because I have super thick hair but it is what it is but it just adds to the disappointment. No large pallet or anything 😢

Yes ma'am @@NotFitforPrintBeautyI got the same box and got lip balm, a face mask, a brush, Charlotte tilbury magic cream light, good molecule eye cream, a Wayne Goss lipstick, hair thickener, a little auric eyeshadow pot, a yummy skin glow serum priming face serum (seems to be a tinted face primer?), and a really small pallet from viseart with magnetic pans that aren't in all the way. No full size pallet or hair ties that other people are getting 😔
