I saw them the first time when she was 18, opening for Evanescence in 2011. She completely blew me away and I was Googling them as they left the stage. Got to see them again co-headlining with Halestorm in 2022 and she was even more incredible.

I'm so so excited for you to try more TPR! This song navigated the years of her life in the entertainment industry and how it almost cost her her life. She's been through so much with the death of Chris Cornell (her hero) while they were on tour together, the death of her bandmate producer, all very close together... then finally slipping into addiction herself after avoiding it so long. She's out and strong now but wow, was it ugly back there.
Some songs absolutely worth checking out: going back to the beginning when she was only 16 with "Make Me Wanna Die", to House on a Hill (so good and narrative), Death by Rock n Roll for a strong fun anthem, Nothing Left to Lose for a low key melancholy vibe, and so many more tbh. Happy to be your TPR sensei ;)

Oh also! You totally clocked that Beatles-inspired bridge (Taylor's fave band ;) )

Sad side note: the footsteps heard on the album Death By Rock & Roll were Kato's (her producer) previously caught on a hot mic. And the album also features Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden (Only Love Can Save Me Now) and Tom Morello of Audioslave (And So It Went), Chris Cornell's bands.

With you starting the video with Paul's work, I was waiting to see if you would grab the Beatle feel in the bridge. I had confidence you would, but you are also the only one I have heard say it!

Jenny has been through a lot.. You can hear it in her voice. Amazing underrated singer, incredibly creative too. Think she has a to say about the direction of their music videos too. I agree with the rest in the comment section, Make me Wanna die, My medicine and Heaven Knows, you should really check out too.

Yes, more TPR please. They have many great songs.
This song is also a year by year of her life. The only reason it wasn't chosen for the film is because Billy Eillish was so popular at the time. This is a far better song.

The Pretty Reckless are such a good band and she has such a unique and beautiful voice. I’ve been waiting for so long to see a reaction to them. You should also try Madison Ryann Ward “Mirror “. Another unique voice. Very jazzy and very soulful voice.

I LOVEEEE THE PRETTY RECKLESS!! The theme of this song (doesn't matter if it was for the Bond movie ou not) it really fits with the subjects they present in their other songs! I love it!

Interestingly enough, that 4 note background is more iconic as Bond for me than the main melody you played on top of it. Maybe it’s just because I grew up playing bass and drums, so my brain is always bass- and rhythm-forward, but hearing this song, the FIRST thing I thought was “this has to be a Bond song, right?” And then realizing No Time To Die, the newest Bond film that came out right after this song, was the 25th Bond movie, it was so obvious.

I saw them live last year im Berlin. To be honest: yes the music works, her voice works, but she was PLAYING a rockstar on stage but she didnt feel like one.

Oh man, every time I watch one of your videos I get so jealous of your musical ability and knowledge. Can I buy your brain and put it in my head please?
But seriously, well done. I can tell it took a lot of passion and consistent practice to get to where you are.
