Considering how its often the case where the FMC is rude until she finds out the MC saved her, this is a welcome change. She's nice to him from day one and only becomes nicer when she learns he saved her.
I’ve seen this plot so many times in Manga Sweet Chocolate. I do enjoy this kind of plot of portraying the Mc as a hero but most of the time they make the FMC completely rude and treats the Mc trash and when she finds out the Mc she was treating trash was the one who save her when they were talking young, bam 180. Sako treated Yuichi very well and I’m glad she was able to reunite with her savior
I don't really watch video from Manga Sweet Chocolate recently so i might be wrong, IIRC there is 3 or 2 video from that channel with same trope "MC with obsessesion become hero in past and stop act like hero after MC save FeMC" In my opinion i like this trope at first but i a bit hate with those trope because FeMC is always same rude and act cold at MC for help another or MC decide not act like hero and turn 180° after find out scar that MC was have FeMC in past and act nice not that i hate that but are seriously use in 3 or 2 video with same format just different design is not good. Don't get me wrong idea its not like i don't hate Manga Sweet Chocolate i just hate how they using those trope.
Personally, I like this story better cause the girl that the MC saves has a much better attitude and personality as well as likable were as the other ladies are rude and bitches to begin but does a 180 the moment they saw the scar.
Yeah, if I was rude to someone, then I knew that they were the one who saved me in the past, I wouldn't have the face to even look at them from afar anymore
I actually have some crazy stretch marks on my shoulders and back ( I didn't know that they were a thing until my friend told me about them recently when i was changing or working out half naked) but they are not visible as my college clothings take care of em :)
I agree with the MC. Going up and telling someone you saved them in the past is embarrassing, and if you do it could be seen as being arrogant depending on the person. I’m glad she treated him nicely before finding out he’s the one. It was refreshing from the ‘I hate people who sacrifice themselves for others’ trope.
Look up Sir Adrian Paul Ghislain Carton de Wiart who was known as "The Unkillable Soldier" because he survived and recovered from wounds that would have ended a lesser man's military service or their life.
It's good to see that the channel is improving. Sako is a great fmc: nice, caring and especially, not unfriendly with Yiuchi. This is a nice change of air
There's no shame in having a scar for an act of selflessness in order to save another. Yuichi's classmates should be ashamed of themselves for making fun of his scar. I'm glad Yuichi found friendship in Hitomi, the very girl he saved 10 years ago. And I hope they can become a loving couple in the future. Plus, Hitomi's verbal beatdown of Yamada was perfect especially with her line, "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." That line was perfect.
depends on the situation in this story you are right. But in Real life it is a bit different. Than it really depends on the situation. Sad part is we questioning to much these days.
Aaaaaaaand this is automatically the best story with the trope of "I saved a girl years before" and you wanna know why? Because in most stories the girl does a complete 180 as soon as they find out the MC saved them, before that they are mostly rude, shower him with insults or just bully him.
And what make's it better is that the MC did not have amnesia about what happened or when the FMC told him a similar story of what happened to them, the MC thinks "Oh, I guess another small kid like me saved a girl from a fire." or something. Annoys me when the MC's are TOO dense.
Yeah, in this one, the girl deserves the love of such a great person. In the other stories, the MC should be like, “bitch, you treated me like damn dirt until you knew who the hell you were talking to.”
@@robertbusselmaier I remember the first story Sweet Chocolate made with this trope was somehow ok, but it had it's problems. The FMC bullied the MC because he was always going out of his way to help people, like, he was "TOO NICE" which she says would end up with him hurting himself someday, just like when he saved her from a fire on her house, I guess she had a point, but she was rude AF anyway.
@@robertsuarez8000 even if she has a point that is NO EXCUSE to be rude to someone unless they did something wrong to you first, the best thing that rude girl could do is treat the MC like a normal person meeting her for the first time.
Okay this story is insanely good. Usually l see stories that if there was a boy with scars and saved a girl in the past, that girl would be assholes to them until they find out they were the ones who saved them and does a complete 180 on how they treat them. This is usually the case in the youtube channel Manga Sweet Chocolate. But there was none of that here. She was kind to him just like she would be kind to anybody else. I am very glad that sako was different from all the other FMC's that think they have to right to verbally abuse their savoirs. And scars are nothing to scoff at, their signs you've gone through hardships... they desvere respect!
Dude if a nerd had a giant scar on his back, I'd immediately ask for the story AND their friendship, for they have a good chance of being a manga protagonist.

It's because scars and tatoos have a very bad reputation in Japan. Because usually they are insured of being a delinquent, or even worse, from yakuza. Plus, their culture says that your body is like a temple to preservate, so you shouldn't contaminate it with scars or else. I am not saying this is the right way to think, but this is how they are educated
I would have loved to see a scene at the end where FMC explains to the class how MC got those scars then verbally castrates all the extroverts for making fun of him.
