Lets be real. Highschool boys would unanimously think that a scar is cool. For no good reason
Honestly. Especially with how big it is. You had to do or be doing something badass to get something like that would be the logic a bunch of teen boys would have. You had to be being brave and not cautious to wind up in a situation to get you that big of a scar is what boys would think. He'd be hella popular just from that. If he wasn't, there would be one of his best friends acting as wingman to make sure he gets the recognition he deserves. It's honestly such a lame trope that these guys with the scars on their backs want to hide them or are made fun of because it's "ugly." Epsecially when half of the time they're easily concealed in these stories so only the most intimately close to those around the person with the scar even knows it exists. I mean, maybe Japanese culture is different from the one I grew up in (America), so I can't talk on that subject. Maybe over there having any mar on your body isn't a form of bravery but one of needless recklessness. Then again, I'd heard that Japanese culture is very centered on the group, not the individual, so a scar like that and the story behind it would be a sign of self-sacrifice and make you more popular, would it not? I dunno. I always wanted to see the gnarly scars my friends had growing up and I'd show off the couple I have. I agree, even if these boys didn't know how he got the scar they'd all want to see it, any mockery would be quickly shot down. They wouldn't even need a good reason to think it's cool as hell.
I'm not a girl (obviously, I just explained how high school boys think from a male perspective), but I'm pretty sure girls would think the same, they'd just be interested in the story behind it. Then they'd think it was even cooler from the story itself.

now this is much better "SCAR" story and the other one where the girl there rejected the MC but after finding out his scar then she made this elaborate plan to force MC to confess to her again, not knowing it might backfire on her.
That was a recent one like in the past 2 months right. I'm so glad the author made it so that she got jealous and forced the plot to force her to be the one to confess the second time. The audacity to come up with the idea to force some one to confess to you again all because you find out they are the person who you have idealized for so long is just wrong. And then the way she thought about things also left a bad taste in my mouth because what if he decided he didn't want to be around her after her rejection, where would she be. Such a convoluted plan just to avoid well accountability isn't the word but to cover up or try to reverse her decision she made because she didn't know something. It almost makes it look like she was trying to get the male MC to do all the heavy lifting.
All in all I'm glad she had to confess the second time as well as the fact that she didn't get jealous and avoid the male mc for a long period of time which is what some other stories end up making the couples do

You know what…I hate it the fact when we got a great story like this, it always ended right after they got together as a couple. Like can’t they at least made it a little bit longer about what happened on his school life afterwards & how they both have been doing.

When I was younger, I would play with my hands when I was bored, acting like my hands were two characters fighting each other. I would get so caught up in the fight I was imagining in my head, that I didn't realize I was scratching my hands to the point where they bleed. It didn't hurt because in my head I was imagining two anime characters bloody and bruised, fighting for hours without stopping. I still have those scars on my hands till this day. Childhood memories. 😊

Genjo’s scar is a proof of his bravery. Even though he risked his life to save another person’s life in the ended his deed was reward and he somehow got himself a gf. But I wonder how Kuze knew Genjo was the one who saved her. Cause she said that she couldn’t visit Genjo at the hospital so how was she able to to figure out that Genjo was the one who saved her. I’m pretty sure she never saw his face. I guess she used her intuition. Kuze can be very scary and Genjo has to make sure not to get on her bad side

This manga really pointed what's wrong in the society. First is 13:39 when she entered the boys changing room, then he said that when boys do it it's a problem but when the girls do it it's forgiven. Then 15:15 when her parents got divorced she's the one who is more affected. And 18:50 she roasted the politicians 😂

I don't know why these anime writers think boys think scars are bad. I'm sorry to say but I have a lot of scars and I have a huge one on my back. And i've had it there for least twenty plus years. Not once have I tried to hide it or was ashamed of it. Even when I was a kid and I got a scar , I was proud of all the scars I got and still am. So you might wanna do some research.I'm pretty sure most boys would not care about scars.
Because in Japan anything that makes you different from the norm is frowned upon.

Usually, they devote themselves to become instant lovers towards the mcs, even if they're nerds, geeks, introverts, loners, or whatever. No matter what the male protagonists do, they're always the apples of the fmcs' eyes.
