Working for a family owned company is the worst. Very rarely does the family drama stay at home.
That judge needs to tell the defense to stop. The judge can direct the prosecution on how to word the questions. This judge is allowing the defense to dominate the hearing and it's unbalanced. It's not supposed to be thar way. Watch other trials and hearings with other judges and you will see what I am referring to. Look at the karen read trial in Boston. The judge in that case knew how to run the court
I agree.i have watched this judge a few times & she is quite a dominant female too & I said to myself ‘I bet the Atty & Judge are friends & shared a few bottles of wine while opining about all that’s broken with the justice system & how people like them could easily put it all right!

Actually in Lenawee Co Jail your allowed to have a wedding band on. All other jewelry isn't allowed.

She didn't ask to be there. I like to think you know that that's not how it works. She was subpoenaed so she has to be there (or suffer the consequences).

This is a preliminary hearing which is held to determine, by the judge, whether a crime has been committed and it was the defendant who committed it.
That being said I sure hope that if it does go to trial the judge reigns in the attorney’s and their speaking objections
I don't think Judge Frushour would preside over the murder trial, typically it gets bound over for circuit court
Thank you! I'm absolutely appaled at how this judge let's the defense dominate the hearing. She needs to provide more guidance to the prosecution and also reign in the defense. There's no balance here
Some states don't have grand jury so they do preliminary hearings. Or in some states the evidence is weak and you can request a preliminary hearing.

You clearly didn't watch the video. But if you did, you would notice that the judge did not overrule the defense even once.
That means that all of the defenses objections were valid. So you might want to direct your criticism to the prosecution.

My suggestion for you is that anytime you feel like you're smarter than the judge, and the judge is acting up.
Simply spend 15 minutes on youtube learning the basics of criminal procedure and the laws of evidence. There's so many videos of people trying to break it down for you.
This way you'll be able to understand that what you're watching is a lot more convoluted and sophisticated than you think. It's not a beauty contest. It's not a social club. And everyone in the comments is most likely going to lead you astray. Because they're watching it for entertainment only.
