Love the run! This is still the best Call of Duty. IW's Magnum Opus. A brutal, pulpy, military thriller combined with the best arcade FPS action ever crafted.
Yeah I think CoD really did do the best job when it came to making gritty realism arcade-y. No other FPS, multiplayer or single player wise does it like CoD, they can imitate but CoD 4 is the one I'm reinstalling to play the campaign again
I'll admit I wasn't familiar with the cod4 speedrun strats but its really special that the run features an ele and an rpg boosted bounce as a part of the run. Two of the defining glitches from cod4 :)
Modern warfare 2 is probably my favourite for the insanity of multiplayer but so much about this one is nostalgic and reminds me of college and early to mid internet culture and i dont remember speedruns for cod being much of a thing back then mostly retro games and stuff like mirror edge
@@factormars4339 the game isn’t the point. It’s having a group of friends who are all amped up and ready to play as well. Big party chat going and a nearly filled team for tdm. Yeah I can go play cod 4 again sure. But everyone’s grown up now. Even if we do still game we can’t do it often together, because work schedules are all over the place. It’s not the game it’s everything that went with it.
idk about the first, but Aerith from FF7 is definitely one of the more famous irreversible main cast deaths in video game. I think Jackson in this game is a relatively modern reminder to that idea that playable doesn't necessarily means plot armor

good run but i wish the mechanics of the game were articulated better during the commentary, im pretty shocked these great runners dont seem to know much about how elevators or bounces work.

This game is incredible for speedrunning. Just don't play the Wii version. It's got the miserable point-to-aim control mechanic.
