Nope, I have the best set up on my trailer. I used to get a little loud with people helping me load my boat. But I put the best system on my trailer, very cheap and no matter the weather or anything. I can load my boat in 5 minutes or under effortlessly every single time. I put the guides on each side then got 2 feders to take up gap in between the boat n guides. I strap the feders to the guides and all I do is winch the boat to the front n pull it out of the water. Perfect load on the trailer every time. All the guys with the real expensive bass boat can't believe i get the boat loaded so fast by myself and perfect every time. The best set up. I showed this one guy after I pulled my boat out and he said that is a great hook up.
I put the Drotto auto boat latch on my ranger trailer and it works great at a quick loading and un-loading you might want to check that out Jim since you usually load by yourself most of the time...nice skid plates.
Nice to meet your Dad. You have a great relationship with him. Reminds me of my Dad and I, he's been gone a long time but still miss him. Lot's of joking and fun fishing together. your videos are entertaining and informative.
I bought some of these for my alum ranger. I'm told after not to use them because they will scratch the boat. Have you noticed any of this? Not sure how you would know...can't see them on the water or when boat is on trailer.... 🤔. Thanks !!!
Just fine. I used these boards for years on my last trailer, so I already knew I'd like them. As far as I know they aren't scratching the boat up, but it's underneath if so, so I'm not that concerned about it.
When you installed your Ultimate Bunk Boards on your Tracker Trailer, did you get the 9 footers and cut them down to match the length of the original ones, or did you leave them long? Or, did you get the 8'? I just received 9 footers for my 2016 Proteam175TF.
How are they holding up! I bought a boat and I think the bunks are a little soft. Considering investing a little more if it lasts longer than a carpeted board
They don't have the drag that the carpeted bunks have. So your boat will slid on extremely easy. Just don't disconnect the front strap from your boat until the back is almost floating because it can slide off before you get your boat to the water. Hope this helps. Check out his other video of his old tracker. These bunks are well worth it. I just ordered them for mine.
No issues with these scratching the bottom of your painted aluminum boats? I have a tracker and going to be doing bunks soon, and I'd rather not scratch the bottom lol
what is the aluminum track underneath the bunk that your using to mount the bolts? where can I buy that track? Did you assemble the track on the bunk? Please advise... lol 🎣👍 Merry Christmas
I haven’t had a boat in years....I’m not really seeing the point of swapping those bunk boards out. How can the new ones help with loading or launching?
Great video and your Dad is hilarious!! If you can include him in some future videos! How about a fishing competition between you and your Dad?? That would be cool to see! :)
Nice video with your dad. Did you share your square bills? Hopefully you’ll share some videos of you two fishing in the future! Hope you had fun on your outing!! And did not loose to many lures!!!!
I haven't had any issues...if anything I believe it helps launch the boat even better. With a longer boat you have to watch the nose if the rear is floating before you unhook. It wants to drop off and it could hit your trolling motor. With it being raised up a tad I clear it no problem.
Good vid I do have a question TJ why dont you give your good old dad some square bills ? hell you must have more than I have lol good to meet your Dad.
What brand and where did you find those side bunks?? They look heavier/stouter than what I'm finding online.
They came on the trailer.

I'll be sure to check that out. Appreciate the heads up buddy!
Jim, the wedge under the boat transom is a trim tab, not really a skid plate. Its so your boat doesn't porpoise.
How are these working out for you? I am needing to replace my bunks and I am considering these.
Bought a set of these bunks a couple years ago, best investment in my trailer and my boat setup!
Nice to meet your Dad. You have a great relationship with him. Reminds me of my Dad and I, he's been gone a long time but still miss him. Lot's of joking and fun fishing together. your videos are entertaining and informative.
Always a good time when we get out together. Thanks for watching Don!
I have a 17”5 2014 Lowe, my bunks are 8ft. But only 2 brackets. Should I go with the supreme or can the Ultimate work just fine?
I bought some of these for my alum ranger. I'm told after not to use them because they will scratch the boat. Have you noticed any of this? Not sure how you would know...can't see them on the water or when boat is on trailer.... 🤔. Thanks !!!
It’s been 2 years. How is your painted hull holding up. I have same boat. In less then 3 months my carpet is torn.
The paint has some rub marks from the bunks, but that doesn't concern or bother me. They work great!
Did those steps on the sides of your trailer come with yours?
So does it make it slide on and off easier? Are there any other advantages?
Yes sir...plus they won't rot like wood.
@@TackleJunky81 But they're attached to wood...???
@@cowboyup6438 it's not wood.
How are the boards holding up? any scuffs on the gel coat? Any loose boards yet? Have you put carpet on them or are they still bare boards?
Just fine. I used these boards for years on my last trailer, so I already knew I'd like them. As far as I know they aren't scratching the boat up, but it's underneath if so, so I'm not that concerned about it.
Any scratches since they don’t have carpet?
They'll leave some scuffs behind.
Now that you've got some use on the new bunks, how are they working out? Did you check into Tuff Bunk? Thanks!
Fantastic!! I had them for years on my last trailer so I knew I'd like them.

That's a good question and I honestly don't remember, but I do remember them being a tad longer than the stock boards.
@@TackleJunky81 And I assume you didn't cut them.
How are they holding up! I bought a boat and I think the bunks are a little soft. Considering investing a little more if it lasts longer than a carpeted board
No issues at all, had them on my Tracker for years.
@@TackleJunky81 awesome glad to hear. I’ll look into getting some. Thanks for the quick reply
@@kentbremner7828 My pleasure!
Installed these on my 2017 tracker trailer about 2 yrs ago, GR8 investment.
what’s the advantage of these? details as to why are they better than stock? thanks tj!
They don't have the drag that the carpeted bunks have. So your boat will slid on extremely easy. Plus they won't rot like wood. They'll be the last set of bunks you buy.
What is the cost of the 2 runners like you installed ?? Thanks
230
I love your Dad with hair ,the two of you remind me of my son and my self he shaves his head and I have hair.
If I grew mine out I'd look exactly like him, lol
What are they made out of? The new boards?
High-Density Polyethylene Plastic with a UV inhibitor added to help resist fading.
TackleJunky81 way better than wood. Wood bunks are junk I don’t need know why boat manufacturers use them
Love my new shirt just like yours! Thx, will wear it with pride and glad not only I have a dad that gives me a hard time!
I'm glad you like it buddy...I appreciate the support and thanks for watching!

That track is included with the Supreme boards and comes already attached.
But my question was about the Track as that is what I need. I'm certain that that track is not made exclusively for that product.
@@jeffarnold8454 Not sure where you can buy it separately.
@@jeffarnold8454 you should contact the manufacturer... they would be best source to answer the question you've posed...
I haven’t had a boat in years....I’m not really seeing the point of swapping those bunk boards out. How can the new ones help with loading or launching?
They are slick...the boat glides off and on. Plus you'll never have to replace them as they won't rot like wood.
What was wrong with the factory ones . Looks the same to me except carpet and no carpet
These won't rot like wood plus without the carpet the boat slides off and on much easier.
Great video and your Dad is hilarious!! If you can include him in some future videos! How about a fishing competition between you and your Dad?? That would be cool to see! :)
Thank you Eric! I'll see what I can do in the future.
How do these make it easier to load and unload? They look sweet, but what exactly do they do? Awesome video!
They are slick unlike carpeted bunks. The carpet creates drag. These bunks won't rot out either.
Hey, thank you for showing this. It came at the right time for me. Will definitely do some research and think about putting these on my trailer.
My pleasure!
Nice video with your dad. Did you share your square bills? Hopefully you’ll share some videos of you two fishing in the future! Hope you had fun on your outing!! And did not loose to many lures!!!!
I shared them and he broke them off, lol Thanks for watching David!
Dad just roasting you 😂😂 love it I imagine mine would have been the same way
🤣🤣🤣
Great video Jim! Your dad is hilarious lol. You need to have him on more videos! Keep up the great tips and advice buddy! 👍
Thank you Tim! We had some good laughs on the water that day as well. Thanks for watching buddy!
Nice boards. It's about time for me to replace a few so I know where to look.
You'll dig em man!
Do those mess up the finish on your boat?
They didn't hurt the aluminum on my old boat and so far the paint looks good on the Crestliner.
Other than the aluminum backing, they look like the plastic boards you make a porch with.
Could be very similar.
You definitely have to have Dad back on 😂😂😂
👊💪
Doesn't this raise the height of the bunks since you are mounting from underneath the bunk? Any concerns for the 1 3/4 in height increase?
I haven't had any issues...if anything I believe it helps launch the boat even better. With a longer boat you have to watch the nose if the rear is floating before you unhook. It wants to drop off and it could hit your trolling motor. With it being raised up a tad I clear it no problem.
Pew pew pew your dad's one liners! Awesome!
🤣🤣🤣
Man we need to have more videos with Pops he's a trip😅
🤣🤣🤣
I have zero issues launching or loading. Oh it’s because I don’t have a boat 🤣
I’ve replied: buy a YAK 😇
🤣🤣🤣
hahahahahahaahaaa, dad was the highlight of the video!!
👊💪
Good vid I do have a question TJ why dont you give your good old dad some square bills ? hell you must have more than I have lol good to meet your Dad.
Lol, I bring the tackle and he just brings his rods...he breaks off plenty of my lures throughout the day! 🤣 Thanks for watching buddy!
Your dad is awsome man haha
🤣🤣🤣
Be sure and make a video after the crestliner slides off the trailer and lands on the ramp.....HA!
NO longer struggle launching your boat.....buy a YAK 💪😎👍 👊😜
Coming soon...😎
different kind of struggle. when I want to crank the outboard and 'get' to another spot 1, 2 miles... maybe further... i don't have to pack a lunch...
Thumbs UP
👊💪
Why bother ? What did doing it accomplish ??
The slick surface makes it much easier to launch and load...plus these bunk boards won't rot like wood.
lifetime bunkboards, no maintenance/replacement. the easy on, easy off is icing.
How about I buy your old/new stock boards? I'm cheap!🙂
Already gave them away.
Boy what a genius…., a bald guy with a beard.
Like the old saying like father like son. Lol
🤣
Or not...... 😑

I don’t see what you gained by doing that
