I visited the Dzangha Bai July 2018. Visiting the region was a dream come true. This video is does a great job but honestly doesn't do the experience justice. I knew the Bai and the surrounding forest was going to be amazing, but to see it in person left me awestruck. The folks at the Sangha Lodge are especially doing a great job with employing local Ba'Aka, conserving the rapidly disappearing pangolins and protecting a huge tract of forest. And for those who thing traveling to this area is dangerous... it's not. This part of the country managed to avoid most of the conflict that ravaged CAR's northern and eastern regions. Contact the Sangha lodge and they will arrange everything for you so you can travel at ease in the country.
