Following our camera trap pictures of this species several years ago, we were pleased to get this in the traps recently, some decent quality pictures of this unique monkey. Known prior to this by local hunters whose knowledge is immense, though often ignored by science, ours are the first pictures of this species in Central African Republic.

So cute I am working on making one. (I'm a crafter) I am hoping to make it robotic. Hopefully it will help save them in the future ☺️.. it is extremely hard for my to find the information or their bodies I need to make it as close to accurate as I would like though. Please post more close up videos if possible,☺️

La criatura es bella, preciosa. Pero ¿Qué le pasa? Parece como si tuviera hipo. Y su respiración parece alterada, muy rápida.
Trepan de un modo suave, lento, seguro, elegante, con majestad. Es precioso. Es bello.
Es sólo una pregunta lo que hago en mi anterior comentario, porque me fascinan estos animales. Supongo que si se recuperaran y se multiplicaran, habría que buscar un equilibrio. Porque sí, son tranquilos y pacíficos, pero también muy voraces y dañan árboles y destruyen lo que construyen las hormigas para poder comer.
Me encantan los pangolines y sé lo que sufren por la depredación humana. Por desgracia están en mucho peligro de extinción. Pero si hubiera muchos ¿no son demasiado agresivos con los árboles y los hormigueros a los que agreden y destrozan para alimentarse?

Magnífico vídeo en que vemos a este pequeño y bello animal esforzándose en lograr su alimento. Me sorprenden sus movimientos, casi parecen humanos, como el de un niño hurgando en un porte de mermelada casi vacío. Salvemos y cuidemos de estas criaturas preciosas.

Me da la impresión de que el más pequeño cree que el otro es su madre. Sigue el instinto de agarrarse a él/ella por detrás y trepar a su lomo, como hacen los bebés a los pocos días de su nacimiento con sus mamás.
