I have a question in regard to the Storage Sharing, you mentioned that you share your Storage with your 2 kids, does it mean that you have 4TBs and your kids get 1TB each?... i.e., if another member joins you will get 3TBs and 1TBs for the other 3?
I am hesitating to get the Family Plan, but wonder if I must have 6 people or not
Each person gets 1TB regardless of how many you add... so if its just you, you only get 1TB, not the pooled resource. My kids don't actually use it and this was an account I got for my consulting business so it was just a bonus that they could use the apps and storage if they want to. I went out to verify and this was the language on my account: You can share with up to five others. When you share your subscription, each person gets their own premium Office apps, 1 TB of cloud storage, advanced security, and more. It’s like having six subscriptions in one.
Can your kids access your documents? For example, on their computer, can they access your documents on your computer? Trying to decide whether to get single subscription for each of my kids. It's for school. I already have microsoft 365 personal. Thanks
No the document systems are partitioned and separate unless you choose to share a file or folder. You’d be safe with the family plan.
