I'm from Kerala and so many Malayalis work in foreign countries. But seriously, none of them would go there illegally, risking their lives. It used to happen ages ago mainly among people who didn't know the procedures.Usually illegal migration happens from war torn countries and the migrants would be risking their lives staying in their home country. I wonder how this can happen in India. Most importantly, it is ironic that, the parties winning from these states are hell bent on calling every Muslim an invader or ghuspeti.

And if you have seen the documentary, it is happening since long time even when Congress was in power. Modi did lots of development work in Gujarat. So why not shout about it? And the reality is that US is far better than Gujarat and India. So, why don't they feel to go there? Use your brain if you have it.

Sadly this is true, I'm from North Gujarat and mostly people from north gujarat go to US and Canada.
How they manage to go to US with huge money:
    1. The relatives and same cast people which are already PR in these countries gives them loan without any interest rates. The more the people of your cast go to abroad more your chances that they can give you shelter and provide jobs during your initial days.
    2. Gujaratis are already dominant in business in US which sponsor other one for cheap labour.
    3. Many who doesn't have relatives sold their agricultural land to get to US.

I recently saw a video where US-border police apprehended a group of Indians at the Mexico-US border near Yuma County...
When asked why they wanted to enter the USA, Gujarati man said that He is a congress party worker back in India, and congress workers are facing life threats in Gujarat and it seemed obvious that his claim was an open lie...
Then I researched the arguments used by Indians to claim asylum I came to know that Punjabi use SAD(A) party's(headed by Simranjit Singh man) letter to claim asylum stating that they are getting prosecuted in India because they belong to the Sikh religion...
Haryanavis claims that they are followers of Ram Rahim or Sant Rampal...
This phenomenon is prevalent only in three states i.e Guj, Haryana, and Punjab... And this is because historically these states were well off compared to other states and now their growth pace has stalled due to lack of Industrialisation and job creation...
I don't see this phenomenon ending in the near future...
I just pray no one dies in the arduous journey which they undertake...

No hopes. Born in 90s. Alag hi progress dekhi. Being kids v hated people who went abroad and called it brain drain. Grown up I think they r saving their brain and labour by migration because here they will be exploited or left unemployed.

Also there they have more dignity being illegal than here being legal. A police hawaldar has power to give trauma for entire life.

its nt just abt employments my frnd. money can b made here too. there r lot of opportunities here. bt fr gujjus its more abt bragging. big talks n show off. they dnt get much respect now in thier state n within their people if nt settled in abroad.

Truth is always bitter. There is one story of Indians doing good in America, and one story that no one wants to talk about is illegal migration. Good Job NL for bringing the other side of the story. The solution to the problem can't come until we become a united nation and together find a solution to problem. BEFORE Indian we are Gujaratis, Marathi, Bengali, etc and after that Brahman, Kshatriya, Viashya , Shudra and after that divided into sub caste. We have complicated our life so much that simple solutions are tough to find. I think Unity only can alleviate our problems and We have no way except Love each other to stay united.

My angst is against Gujaratis. Their love for rokda is even at the cost of family and respect. Just like the Modi-Shah combination.
