Pro tip #7 With trailers I have the spare mounted to a new hub, makes for a easy and fast replacment, and you have a spare hub if needed. No need to remove the lug nuts. Thanks for the shows Andrew.
@@RaspyOB174 You just take the spindle nut off and pull the whole unit off and replace with new tire and hub. Only one nut. It really would not be much less work because of all the grease you would have to clean up.
@@RaspyOB174 Mount the spare tire to the hub with the lug nuts, if you get a flat just remove the hub nut with the tire and replace the hub mounted tire on the axle. A simple quick tire change, and you have a spare hub if needed. I don't know how to make it more simple. 1 nut or 8-10 maybe 12 lug nuts.
@@ducewags Thanks man super appreciate the further breakdown. I would recommend that in this situation you would want to prepare your hub nut by removing it ever so often so that it's not rusted or stuck on. Could be difficult to remove if you don't have a breaker bar or impact with you on the road. Seems to be a common issue that hub nuts get stuck on and that trailer wheels can get very hot especially if not maintained.

The old 743s are good machines. The main reason a lot of equipment break down is people don’t know how to operate and maintain them properly. Got 17,000hrs on my 743, still running strong 💪
Really? I had a 742 and a 743, I could not keep them going. Always fixing them and they were hard to work on. The Takeuchi skid steers and IHI are way better.
@@AndrewCamarata they are a pain to work on... I had to rebuild the spool bank on it once...had to make a special spanner to remove it. Rams are easy to re seal...30min job! The cooling ducting is hard to access to clean properly...had a minor problem with rain water leaking into the chain case, bit of silicone fixed that. the Kubota engines have a history of cracking heads...main reasons is people don’t look after them... mines never missed a beat...needed some new glow plugs though All the newer bobcats I’d never own...especially the CTLs Often how much you work on a used machine is because of the life it had with the previous owners Never buy a Terex or ASV when you work them hard with the electric over hydraulic configuration you can literally smell electric wire burning
The spool valve is what killed my 743, it went bad, I took it out which was not fun, sent it to a hydraulic shop, had it rebuilt, I put it back in and it was not right, the guy came out removed it rebuilt it again put it back and it still wasn’t right, then I was towing the thing somewhere to get fixed on my truck broke down so I just sold it broken. it was a lemon the entire time I owned it though, constantly blowing hoses metal breaking and under powered, there’s no comparison between the new tracked Takeuchi machines
@@AndrewCamarata I agree the oochie is a good machine for quality and value etc. But as we all know for a decent CTL these days a CAT is at the top. Kubota are good too. I hate all the electronics they have these days, but I’d like to try out a JCB teleskid or the JCB 1CXT. Look em up BTW you seem like a capable guy, start rebuilding spool banks yourself, they’re easy, same with rams, there is not much to em. Also with a lot of your hydraulic hoses you can use re usable fittings which you can twist on yourself without the need for a swaging machine...saves a lot of money at the hydraulic shop

this is just what i needed to see now. something unrelated to the demented news broadcasts and depressing politics of the current state of affairs. rather just watch Andrew do his job. which he always does so well. along with Cody.
Politics are huge waste of time. Just stop viewing political bullshit
Poor Levi. My condolences. You guys were lucky to have each other!
Pro tip #7 With trailers I have the spare mounted to a new hub, makes for a easy and fast replacment, and you have a spare hub if needed. No need to remove the lug nuts. Thanks for the shows Andrew.
Can you explain further how it's easier to have a spare tire mounted to a spare hub?
@@RaspyOB174 You just take the spindle nut off and pull the whole unit off and replace with new tire and hub. Only one nut. It really would not be much less work because of all the grease you would have to clean up.
@@RaspyOB174 Mount the spare tire to the hub with the lug nuts, if you get a flat just remove the hub nut with the tire and replace the hub mounted tire on the axle. A simple quick tire change, and you have a spare hub if needed. I don't know how to make it more simple. 1 nut or 8-10 maybe 12 lug nuts.
@@crzy11000
Appreciate it that's what I needed was just a bit more to research. I just saw an entire hub disassembly video so I get it now. Thanks
@@ducewags
Thanks man super appreciate the further breakdown.
Glad to see Cody is up to speed Levi was a good inspector of your jobs best wishes Southampton Hampshire UK
I've back dragged my driveway wrong this whole time lol I love how Andrew gets shit done no matter what.
Just stop and imagine if all the country were as productive, mellow, caring, real, creative, intelligent, patient, and kinda funny as Andrew .......... What a wonderful Country we would have .
1:43 "And then the trailer jack just broke for no reason!"
It was basically used as a plow :D
LOL 😂😂 Not even a single piece of equipment will ever survive A. Camaratas typical behaviour.
Look on the bright side, it got Camarataderd for off road use and abuse . Build it stronger, better, we have the technology. Just like the 6 million $ man.
@@gregorystell6858 , I believe that he has all the correct permits to be on that mountain. Lol, from what I understand he is constructing a snowmobile camp. That road to hell needs some attention and fur shore there will be a video about that. 👍
@@327JohnnySS I'm not talking legal wise. I'm sure he follows those rules to the T seeing how New York is what it is. My point was the trailer he was using doesn't have the proper suspension for that type of road for now. But we all know Andrew can make it happen.
So nice to see the Levi memorial plaque in place. A really nice thought by the person who had it made. 👍🙂
Typical Bobcat, breaks down when you need it the most.
Sounds like my x

@@phoenixarizona8441 I bet that thing does some work 😂😂
Yeah and those 864's or the worst. Those and the 873's.
So glad i found this channel years ago. Love watching Andrew fixing things either he broke or were designed poorly and make it better.
it would be so cool to see all the machinery andrew has in one video, gonna to be a long one
Thanks for the adventure Andrew. I needed that.
I don’t need to say anything. Andrew, I just enjoy your journey. Cheers
Watching Cody's reaction to Andrew is priceless. Especially the part where he is watching Andrew pull the Bobcat with the D7. Would love to know what he's thinking.
More videos, Andrew.
I have had that little Honda 2000 generator for at least 10 years. It’s the most useful one i ever bought. Also the one i end up loaning out to trusted family and friends the most too.
Yes! I was just telling my fiancee last night how it should be any day now that Andrew release a new video. What a nice way to wake up this morning. I've been debating on getting me a trailer similar to that or what I think I really need is a half tilt for my equipment. Love the videos man and I can't wait for the new loader and the new dozer vids.
The cooling ducting is hard to access to clean properly...had a minor problem with rain water leaking into the chain case, bit of silicone fixed that. the Kubota engines have a history of cracking heads...main reasons is people don’t look after them... mines never missed a beat...needed some new glow plugs though
All the newer bobcats I’d never own...especially the CTLs
Often how much you work on a used machine is because of the life it had with the previous owners
Never buy a Terex or ASV when you work them hard with the electric over hydraulic configuration you can literally smell electric wire burning
Look em up
BTW you seem like a capable guy, start rebuilding spool banks yourself, they’re easy, same with rams, there is not much to em.
Also with a lot of your hydraulic hoses you can use re usable fittings which you can twist on yourself without the need for a swaging machine...saves a lot of money at the hydraulic shop
really think cat is better? There’s a place near me that rents both of them, they say the Takeuchi is a better machine
Andrew is like Doc Brown: "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads."
Ha ha , exactly.
Most of the DeLorean wouldn't rust. Swap a cummins in mount a plow add a bed perfect Camarata custom and of course a stereo....chainsaw optional
Why not blade the road while ruñning the dozer up and down.?
Drives a bulldozer one handed while holding a GoPro stick and pulling a bobcat. Keep up the awesome vids and great work ethic Andrew
That driveway needs the Camarata treatment!!!! Get after it Andrew.
That new radio install still looks awesome ,you would never know it wasn't factory installed .
gotta love a guy who has his muddy footed dog jump up on drivers side of seat then just crawls in the truck himself without a word.
Read the comments, my my but we do get off topic.
Andrew is a braver man than a lot of us, he puts his actions in video's on the Internet for the world to see, it's easy to sit and criticize sitting in our office chair. Perhaps if we have a better way we should make our own video put them on you UA-cam.
---- I would like to see a new Labrador puppy in the castle ----
Nice way to backblade ,drag a bobcat down the road 👍🍻
Funny, that Cat dragged that Bobcat like a Matchbox car with dirt stuck in the wheels......
D-7 is wicked cool! Woof!
Having your own tire shop on the property is “hardcore”!
I was waiting for a video and here it is!! Thank you!
I've seen a dog take a dog for a walk but never a cat taking a bobcat for a walk. Thanks A C for broadening my horizons.
That tire changing macing is awesome man!
Get back to Work!!

When I was a teenager working in the gas station in the '50's that's what we used.
macing ? FAIL !!

I'm getting to watch a gentleman grade with a broken piece of equipment right now at 0130 in the morning.... Satisfying? Absolutely. Plus there are doggos. 😜⚡🤙
Camarata and Diesel Creek in the same day. Love it. Remember how Matt was complaining about people bashing the back doors on skid steers? lol
The white Dodge is beginning to look more and more like the Grey Dodge 😜
Yeah, they get smashed up quick, at least the white one isn’t rusted
